We are conducting a survey on home ownership / mortgage product preferences and will pay recent or prospective homeowners $30 to discuss their experience for 30 minutes. This is not a sales effort (we’re a consulting company doing research on the subject). There are no strings attached and we will not ask for any private information. We simply want to conduct an informal interview. We will ask recent home buyers about their experience getting a mortgage and prospective buyers about their mortgage product selection criteria.

We are serious about our commitment to paying you $30 at the end of a 30 minute discussion. In exchange we ask for serious candidates. This means people who have either (i) fully completed the purchase of a home within the last 12 months or (ii) intend to purchase a home within the next 12 months. No exceptions please. If you are interested in participating, please email back with a paragraph describing your situation – if you’re already a homeowner, tell us when you bought and in what zip code; if you’re thinking of buying, let us know when and where.

Depending on scheduling, we may ask to meet in person at a local coffee shop or speak over the phone. In your response please include days and times you are available, starting the time of receipt of this notice through Tuesday, December 23.

For anyone interested but wasn't sure it was real: I spoke with her first thing yesterday morning, we scheduled out interview for Monday at 1pm and she said she was mailing my check. I assumed that meant on Monday after the interview - but she actually sent it already - I got it today! How freakin' fast is that!
