The board where I was getting my survey fix has taken it down due to people being idiots... so I'm suggesting (again) that there be a sub-heading for surveys ONLY... either up under freebies, or on its own. I really think SD would benefit from this (as I'd try and drive traffic from the other site over here) - not to mention there are a lot of people here who seem interested in surveys as well..

All comments & feedback appreciated. :)

I think I know which board you're referring to. I beleive their survey section was taken down due to members posting surveys offered by sites that didn't want to be mentioned on that board. The same could happen here.

I have "borrowed" some offers from that board & made sure I didn't post companies that wished not to be mentioned, and removed offers at the PM request of those companies.

This morning, I posted about 200+ links that I "borrowed" for all survey & paying sites. This list can be found here (http://forums2.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?p=1271780#post1271780).

I think you are correct about which site it is - however, SD has links to pinecone (who are adament about not being posted) and other sites... The bit about the other site that was best was you could get feedback on specific sites... like if they pay on time (or ever) etc. I've been trying to get the admin over there to put it back at least in some fashion, but more and more people (who don't even use the survey bit!) are telling her that it's not worth the hassle.

While a listing of survey companies is helpful - it does you no good to go randomly signing up for them if your end game is to get paid. There are hundreds, if not thousands of survey comapanies who do not compensate for your time & opinions. To me, those are worthless... I love SD - and use it exclusively for my freebies & deals.. but the other site has (or had) SD hands down with the way they lumped all survey related threads together.

I think SD would be THE primo site - if it could include a survey forum. Why not do it as a trial run? Or at least put a sub-heading under freebies....

Just my two cents... :)

I agree with bliss77. I am new to this board but it would be nice to have just a survey section. I am a stay at home mommy so my extra spending money comes from the survey sites I am a member of. Still I don't always get a notification and the heads up to check about a open survey has been helpful. I may only make 20.00 a month but hey it is a little extra cash. I think it would be a great idea and like bliss said you could always just run a trial period or even put up a poll to vote on it. Thanks for listening
