I got the same thing but since it had the dollar amount listed correct numerically, my bank did not give me any problems cashing it.

Oh god how weird! I just redeemed some and I hope mine don't come like that, don't know if my bank will cash them. :(

On the line where you write out the amount with words, it says, "six dollars and thirty cents Fourteen dollars and forty cents Nineteen dollars and sixty cents Ten dollars...."

I doubt if the bank would give you all that money though, but sure would be interested in hearing if they did! Good Luck!

Dollar amount: $5.50

How freaking bizarre! I'm taking it to the bank and see what they say. All that above adds up to a tidy sum......... :drool:

NC - my check is the same date & ck # 314120 and identical to yours outside of the $17.00? Wonder how many hundreds of those went out.

I doubt the bank will cash that. THat sucks! They will probably be doing a lot of reissuing of checks.

I think they changed printers a couple of weeks back. i would have been worried too.

Well - how many of you guys got one of these goofy checks? :eek: I finally went to the bank today and presented it to the teller and she said, "well, I can't cash this." Duh, wonder why. Had there been only the one amount written instead of FOUR :eek: , that would have been the amount I could have cashd it for.

Looks like an email off to Outpost. I've got two more checks from them on the way, so I wonder if I asked nicely that they'd send me a postage paid envelope to send their flim-flam check back? :confused:

I just received my check today in the mail and whatever their problems were they seemed to have been fixed because mine is normal!:D

I received my checks today too, they were printed just fine. Going to deposit them tomorrow. :)

Hopefully, it's all resolved. :D
