Feel Free to Contact Longhorn10mom for information about Dallas screenings. There is an large yahoo group that compiles all the information about DFW screenings on a calender and there are generally anywhere from 4-12 a week to go to. Dallas is a huge screening market and there is always something going on. The members on the forum are super when it comes to pass exchanges and help.

2 hours advance is pretty good. if you know the theater and how big the rooms are it gives you a better chance of getting in. i know in san diego..AMC fashion is a lot smaller than AMC mission..so for AMC fashion i have to go 2hours in advance where as in AMC mission i usually get in if i am there 1 hour in advance.

there also the people that have nothing better to do and wait 6 hours in advance. makes no sense to me to wait 6 hours when in 6 hours you can probably find 10-12 dollars to pay for the movie ticket.

usually i hear from the first timers that get gofobo passes never make it in because they dont know when to show up. you will learn eventually

how do you "find" $10-12 in 6 hrs?

I got my first Gofobo pass since I joined but failed to get to watch the movie as it was already full. Any idea what is the best possible chance to make sure I get in with my pass without getting disappointed? For a 7.30pm Friday show, will being there at 5.30pm suffice? just curious to know your experiences...thanks in advance.

Any gofobo experts know what is going on? Got pases for Rio and 10 minutes later this e-mail message:

Thanks for the response! I was confused by the whole thing. Yesterday the showing was not on the site at all. This morning showed up and in a theater they regularly use for 3d screenings. The showing is still on the site but now says no tickets available.

you have to keep checking the Gofobo page as the opportunities to claim passes without RSVP code randomly appears (usually whenever Gofobo staff feels like releasing passes) Also, there should be a column with a List of "PARTNERS" Your best opportunity is to browse those websites.

I am from sacramento and the radio stations are usually my best source to get passes. On their website, they have a link called "Contests" or "Freebies" or "Events" that's where i find my RSVP codes majority of time.

Did you fill out your account with REAL information? Or did you put a fake name, fake address and other fake information for your personal protection?

Depending on the upcoming movie, they send information to certain demographics..

If they feel a movie caters to female teens who like action movies (for example) they will set their invite fields to "Female," "17-25," "Action" or something and only registered gofobo members in that city meeting this criteria will receive invites.

I just received an invite for the movie RIO..I believe i got this because I said i have children and Rio is a Family style movie.. the gofobo code i received allowed me to get a family four pack of tickets.. I don't know if having children had to do with receiving an invite.. but that's my only logical conclusion
