How do I get compensated for studies?

Most studies compensate participants with Amazon.com gift cards. The amount of the gift card varies depending on the length of the study, but are generally in the amount of $5.00. Researchers order gift cards from Amazon.com and then the retailer emails the gift cards to participants. Because the gift cards come directly from Amazon.com it is important to make sure your email account will accept emails from Amazon.com. In general, gift cards are emailed out within a day to a week of a study being completed (i.e. a study reaching its maximum number of participants). Researchers are in charge of compensating participants individually for the studies they conduct. If you have a question about compensation for a study, contact the researcher in charge of the study.


I got a point granted on the 24th for the Leadership Potential study.
Also got a point granted on the 22nd for Self and Social Perceptions 2,
and another point granted on the 26th for the science Science News study,
and last the 5$ Investment Game study on the 24th

they say it can take up to a week so still waiting.

And considering this time of the year, our GCs could be piled up on someone's desk who may be out on vacation. I hope that's not true, but from my limited knowledge each researcher is responsible for their own studies; thus, resposible for issuing GCs.

Nonetheless, I will post as soon as I get one of the above.
