The Entomological Foundation offers free educational materials to educators to help in implementing entomology into their current science-based programs. If you would like to receive the materials listed below, please send a note to April Gower (april@entfdn.org or (301) 459-9083) letting her know which materials (and quantity) you would like to receive.

In your note, please let April know the following information. This information will assist the Foundation in developing educational materials to help meet your needs in educating children about science through insects.

The materials will be used to teach:
1) which grades?
2) how many children?
3) children in a formal or informal learning environment?

Insect Appreciation Digest (1st ed. by Dr. F. Tom Turpin)
(1 per educator) Chapters include an introduction to Entomology and Entomologists, Insect Collection, Insect Structure and Function, Insect Biology, Interaction with Humans, and Insects and Human Culture. Each chapter ends with 3 to 5 questions for students.
