If you want to discuss the pros/cons of shopping at Wal-Mart do that here. (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=311125&t=827481)
Let's try to stay focused on any great deals to be had when you combine a coupon with a regular-priced item. YYMV on the actual prices at Wal-Mart but they should be fairly close. If your store has an item with a very different regular price, please put it in the Wiki so we can compare the price variations to see if this is even worth it. We may as well not even post clearanced items because that is definitley going to be widely different per store.
There is no weekly ad to work with so we're going to have to add things from what we see when we are there. So please keep an eye out when you're at Wal-Mart next for any hot deals.

Wal-Mart Coupon Policy (http://slickdeals.net/?sduid=204770&sdtid=828988&sdfid=38&u2=http://walmartstores.com/7655.aspx)
Wal-Mart accepts the following types of coupons (see guidelines below):
* Manufacturer coupons (Cents Off)
* Free merchandise (or Buy-One-Get-One-Free) coupons
* Store coupons
* Pharmacy (Advertising and Promotional) coupons
* Internet coupons
* Soft drink container caps
The following are guidelines and limits:
* Wal-Mart only accepts coupons for merchandise we sell and only when presented at the time of purchase.
* Coupons should have an expiration date and be presented within the valid dates. Wal-Mart will not accept expired coupons.
* Internet coupons should be legible and say "Manufacturer Coupon." There should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer and a scannable bar code.
* Only one coupon per item is permitted.
* Use of 40 or more coupons per transaction will require approval by Customer Service Manager.
***YMMV on internet coupons. Some stores won't take them at all, some only take 1 per transaction and others take as many as you have. If you run into any trouble you can try showing them a copy of their coupon policy, but there is still no guarantee they will take internet coupons. Click on "Wal-Mart Coupon Policy" above to see it on the actual Wal-Mart website.
Guide to Wal-Mart
Use the SCO (Self-Checkout) to avoid coupon scrutiny
You cannot get an overage at the SCO's
Go to a regular cashier if you plan on having overage
Go to a regular cashier if you have a bottle cap
You can only use $20 worth of coupons at SCO
You can use up to $40 worth of coupons at a regular check out (Without Manager Approval) - (You can use as many as you want with approval)
If your coupon doesn't register as being inserted in the coupon slot at the SCO then blow in the slot
Some SCO's are coded to only accept 1 of each coupon and will need cashier approval.
Some SCo's are coded to need cashier approval for coupons with a $3 or higher value.Wal-Mart Price Guarantee
If an item rings up for more than the price on the shelf WalMart policy is to give you $3.00 off the price the item scans for. If the item is less than $3.00 you get it for FREE. One item per $3.00 discount. YMMV as some stores will just give you the price difference instead of $3.00 off
NO MORE PRICE GUARANTEE AS OF JUNE 2008

I always feel bad when I don't have any issues with deals & then people I try to share with get the short end.
Me too! I always wanna share my good deals with friends and family, but I'm always afraid they'll run into trouble. I just get it myself and give it to them. I'm the family loudmouth :lmao: The rest of them just run away with their tail between their legs, don't know where I get my feistiness from, but I'm glad I have it! :bounce: Nowadays, you HAVE to be headstrong and not willing to back down in order to be a couponer, ridiculous!

OK, I was able to get a look at the memo at the registers & talk to one of my favorite CSMs.
The coupons in question are from FB. *SNIP*
My CVS also has a memo posted at their registers about FB.

Not a deal, exactly, but at my local SWMs, cans of Pringles had gone up to $1 each and they are back down to 98c each. Also, there were 3 new limited-time flavors: Cheeseburger, Onion Bloom, and Mozz Sticks with Marinara. I got a can of each out of curiosity tonight, but haven't tried any of them yet.
we bought onion Bloom and cheese fry and they weren't very good. Worth a try though. I actually liked the kickin pickle kind :bounce:
Ok, so a few mins. ago I am readin along on this thread and realized that my palm didn't remind me that P&G insert came out today. I had to call DH and tell him I am heading to the local grocery store at 10:30pm to get Q's just a heads up in case they try and rob me of my $1.50 for the newspaper  take my car and $$ just don't take my P&G inserts!!
Now off to cut and organize so I can put a decent run together to get rid of my Kraft free Q's.. WHO NEEDS SLEEP :D

Onion Blossom is the best. I have purchased 5 cans in the last 2 weeks. They have like an aioli powdered sauce on the underside of the crisps, but only on half the underside (basically its on 1/4 of the entire crisp). That way its not too overwhelming.
If you like the "awesome blossom" at Chili's, or the similiar item at Outback Steakhouse, you'll love these. Everytime I buy them though, I remind myself of the $0.30/3 coupon that I always forget to bring. Very yummy!

HTH someone's feet be comfy while shopping!just a heads-up on these, I bought them for my 2 & 4 year old girls, and both of them got sores on the sides of their feet from them. the plastic/rubber "rivet" that holds the strap on sticks out a little bit too much on the inside, and having the kids wear them for long walks or long periods of time (more than 3 hours straight) is painful. They're fine for just hanging out in the yard or going for a drive, but if they're running around a lot, I don't let them wear these anymore. I got them about 6 weeks ago for (I think) $4

I second this - I bought a pair for my 20 month old DS and he had a sore on the instep of his foot within a half hour of walking around at the fair. It didn't heal for 2 weeks. I love the pair I got for myself, but the kids' seem to be made differently.

 Yes my dear! We have had no issues with any of them. :) You may also want to pamper your feet w/Dr Scholl's: For Her Ultra Overnight Foot Cream, 3.5 oz.( price varies at my 2 SWM's $4 ish.) One can also utilize some generic vaseline and thick socks overnight , but a foot massage from dh is the ultimate for me! :woot: As stated in my earlier post there are assorted styles. One can tuck and /or remove the straps, wear socks ,and even purchase the ones without straps. I am truly sorry for anyone's kids feet that were hurt. Life is tough enough! Sry for OT. BUT,,, i did get a email about a lady who had bought flip flops from walmart and got this horrible burn/blisters from where the top of the flip flop laid on her foot. She took pictures on her feet just about everyday to document this. Sad thing is she has a forum and many other people had the same thing happen to them. Woman contacted WM and they pretty much acted like she was crazy she kept track of every email and reply WM sent back. They said they would pull the flip flops but months later she found the same flip flops in a clearance bin. Its a crazy story I will look for the forum she wrote.
EDIT --> here is the website = http://www.lamanaphotography.com/walmart.htm
Ok.. I clipped Q's last nite FOREVER and saw in the Parade insert there was a WM page with prices on it such as gain 2/$10 and many other good deals. I meant to bring it. Can anyone post the deals otherwise I will get it tonite and post the deals.

You have to be really careful for kids wearing these. There are numerous stories of kids wearing real crocs getting them caught in escalators and being seriously injured.

yeah, adults too. apparently they (crocs, the REAL ones) have SUCH good traction, that they get literally pulled into the escalator mechanism at the end of tha escalator, and lots of people have lost toes. My kids go "airborne" at the end of escalators since I read that, I make sure to lift them up a few inches as we're about to step off.

In general:
1) Buy Kool-Aid packets for the "must buy 3 items" to get an item free. They are generally 20c each, and on the back it does note it's made by Kraft and serves 8 (if they give you any guff about "single servings"). As an alternative, Kraft Mac & Cheese is often 50c a box.
2) No problem with the Crystal Light. Just make sure the item is not more than the max price the free item coupon is good for. I've also used the Crystal Light coupons on the new 4-packs of pre-mixed bottles. After all, it says ANY Crystal Light...
3) The salad dressing coupons don't say salad dressing, just "dressing". So you can use it on Kraft Miracle Whip or Kraft Mayonnaise as well, as long as you get the right size (16 oz. IIRC)
4) Wal-Mart usually has the family-size Wheat Thins priced in the range the coupon is good for. There only seem to be regular and reduced fat varieties in the large boxes, so if you want variety, bite the bullet and buy the smaller boxes. In particular, the cinnamon ones are delicious! Also, don't overlook the yellow BAGS of Wheat Thins. The veggie ones in particular are yummy! :yummy:
ok guys cashier meeting today...NO MORE internet coupons....this is supposed to be effective IMMEDIATLY from all WM and super centers.
Even on the bricks that u have mailed to u.....and even on ones companies send u (for compliments etc) or if ur in the psst program from betty crocker. And even ones like coke rewards for free 12 packs
I really, really, REALLY hope that's a joke...

I know u r a employee of WM but seriously lets not start a pandimonium..
Would u rather me not say anything and people go to there store and ruin there reputation with that store??? People do shop at locations were employees know there names.
Aside from that, why have the discussion if i cant "discuss" the topic.
I posted it as a nice heads up, i guess if u dont wanna be included in it then ignore it.

Well, if it's supposed to be "effective immediately" it's not very effective as IPs are still listed on the website as coupons they take.

If ya follow WM and different forums for the last year WM's cross the country have been debating on if they take them or if they don't. WM online policy is to take them but some store seem to make up their own rules and do what fits best for them.
1.) Can anyone confirm WM not taking Q's from a customer standpoint.
2.) I would write into WM.com and see if they will send you a coupon policy to see if it is updated.
I think I could live without my printable Q"s but P&G Q's I would die !

I do shop there so its not as if i dont have a customer standpoint.
I just used printed ones last night and BEFORE the cashier meeting.
And as i just posted, i pulled some coupons i intended to use as a customer out and got denied. And yes it is YMMV usually, but we were told that its going to be all stores because walmart is losing a TON of money and its become a big issue.
P&G arent internet printed i think ur safe.
And as i said not trying to be rude or start anything just giving a heads up. I posted yesterday that my sister was denied on the TGIF at another store.

Just a heads up there are Printables available through the P&G website. They have started offering a few extras to be printed along with their insert Qs.

the TGIF Q is only in question due to the FB Q's which scares stores because there are so many variations of this Q floating around that Q I wouldn't be bummed about if they denied me.
I don't really see how WM can say that they are loosing $$ each Q they receive nets them .08 cents. If it is a issue why not get rid of SCO and let each cashier be held responsible for checking clearinghouse address, exp. date, and if item matches what is being purchased (which my friend at WM tells me they are accountable for).
Seems YMMV .. lets not get all upset we dont want to start a whole stampede of couponers using insane amounts of Q's in places that still allow printables when its only confirmed in Ohio. :) OFF MY SOAP BOX NOW !!

1-Yes, I'm good with using the Kool aid. I've used these coupons before usually at Shop Rite but each one has to be approved...such a pain.
2-Good on the Crystal Lt then!
3-Good idea, mayo!
4-I had bought the bags before of the Wheat Thin Chips. Thats what I'll go for and the Cinnamon ones sound yum.
Much appreciated!
Up to $40 in coupons goes thru w/o approval I believe...so I'll keep it under.

I'm pretty sure that this would only effect the stores in your area. Walmart is way too YMMV, like many stores are, when it comes to internet coupons. The Walmart by my house takes internet coupons but the Walmart 5 miles away from me takes NO internet at all. There is no national chain (correct me if im wrong) where ALL the stores in that chain do not take any internet coupons. Guess we'll have to see what happens? ;)

Time to print the Walmart Coupon Policy (http://walmartstores.com/7655.aspx) and have it with you, just in case! I can't imagine that they would change corporate policy across the board on this. Heather, I'm not disagreeing with you either, I just hope a meeting like that doesn't take place around me!
Just back from a quick run. Last day to use my Deli Creations, so got those, some more Malt-o-Meal and Tyson Chicken Fried Rice dinner kit. Used the SCO, and all was fine. I think they tuned up our SCOs, because they register the coupons right away now. It was awful before, stuffing several extra slips of paper in there, but it's a breeze the past few times.
One good deal I saw was the new Ore-Ida Steam-n-Mash potatoes. They are about $4.99 at most grocers if not on sale. WM had them on special for $2.84. There was an IPQ for $1 a few weeks ago, and many of you have the $1 tearpad Qs on these. I found the tearpads at my Safeway and Albertsons. Not sure if these are very good, but sure seem convenient. I have a bag of the cheese and another of the garlic to try. They also have sweet potatoes that were tempting!

Just did a run at WM, they took my coupons. This has always been, and will always be YMMV. Watch a WM TV commercial, see on the bottom of the screen where it says, "WM will price match a competitor if a sales ad shows they are selling the item for less", well the tv commercial says that, but guess what the website says? Thats right, up to SM, so YMMV on the price match guarantee that WM corporate promotes in there advertising.
Having said all that, if your SM doesn't accept your IPQ's, or won't price match to a competitor, they are either scared, a prick, or they have deemed you a bad customer. I think most managers/cashiers can determine a good coupon or not, based on whether its expired, or on the list of coupons not to take. If the cashier doesn't want to take it, its not really up to them, call for a manager, and work your way up to the top. Your the customer, and though WM generally may not care about us individually, they do need us collectively. Don't be afraid, ask for the boss, make them show you how your coupon is bad.
WM feels they always hold the trump card, regardless of anything. They crush the competition, and were all so poor, we can't live without shopping at WM. Thats my opinion of how they think, so if they don't take our $2 off IPQ, we'll just remove the item from our purchase, and come back in tomorrow to spend more $$. In most cases, they are right, thats just what happens!
The question isn't is it right or wrong, they can and they will. However, if your a good customer, your cashier is cool, and your coupons are cool, this should be a non-issue. To remain competive, WM will always take IPQ's, but you could be at someones mercy. Not the cashier, but some level of management, depending on how far your willing to push the issue.

Could I purchase the Febreze Noticeable Starter Kit use the $5 Q and then exchange it for the Febreze Candle? I would prefer the candle, but I don't want to get my cashiers in trouble for not using the correct coupons. Does anyone know? I am thinking that this will work, but I also think that they may ask me to pay the $5 difference.

You should get back what the line item on the receipts says you paid (before coupons) . . . after all, they have the $5.00 coupon. For example, if the line item says the Starter kit was $6.99 . . . .that is what you should get refunded plus the tax. Then take your refund and go purchase the candle.

Dunno about ur store but the febreeze starter kit is 9$ something here now. And the candles are still $5.97........so u would have to look.
When u return the kit u will get however much it was back.(if it wsa $5.97 u would get that back, even tho u used a $5 coupon)

Made a run to super wm today - one I've never been to before. It was awesome. I got 4 of the Zantac, 1 pk of cottonelle, 3 KY Jellys, 4 pkgs of Icebreaker's gum, and 2 pkgs of Kotex light day pads. All of this for 4.78!
The icebreaker's gum and mints were marked down at the checkout. They had them for .60 and some for .75 each. There were recent q's for 1.00/2. :) HTH someone.

On my WM trip this evening the cashier was very cautious with all of my coupons. She was reading each one, then scanning, verrrry slowly! She said they had just gotten a "lecture" about coupons. I asked her why and she said some were fake. She then said the ones from the newspaper were ok (as she stopped scanning them) but she wasn't sure about the IPs ..so she went to get a manager. The cashier then came back and said that as long as the IPs scan, they can take them. Then the topic of overage came up. The csm looked at my zone bar coupons and said "it's only 4 cents" (overage) and took them. And the cashier continued to push ok ( or whatever they push ) when the valid coupon amount question comes up. She would check the price and see that the Q was for more than the item, but she said ok, and pushed the button. And I had quite a few overage coupons (TGIF, Buddies, Kiwi, zone bars). The csm had a piece of paper with her that must have been the memo that she kept referring to. She also said was told that if the reg. price of the item is more than the coupon amount but the item is on sale for less than coupon amount, it's ok to take the Q, since it's on sale. See how crazy this all sounds? There was no real answer to any question. So I believe it is VERY ymmv at WM. I think it depends on cashier, time of day, moon stage, etc. whether or not your Q's will be accepted. They were very nice to me, which I appreciated. And they did take all of my coupons, but I sure was confused about their policy , and who knows what exactly was said in that meeting.
Sorry for such a long, confusing post, but that's how my checkout experience was, long and confusing!
I have had better experiences and less rudeness at WM lately, so I am thankful for that.

I have been saying this for awhile now...every store in a 5 mile radius around me has a different policy on coupons, PA, price guarantee, price match, etc.
They will try to fight the WM website, ads, commercials, etc & say IT IS UP TO EACH STORE MGR. I was even told this regarding a product they didn't carry.
It is always funny to me how stores are allowed to have different rules.. They are not franchises so how/why is this acceptable??

Going today to try to use all the rest of my All You coupons....I bought like 15 copies and I have several left, probably 10-20. hopefully I don't get any problem.
Planning to buy the rest at Wal-Mart instead of other stores because I've just gotten so much apprehension on them...esp. if I try to use more than 2 or so.
Wish I hadn't waited till the last minute. Don't forget to redeem yours!

:) Hello! For those of us in Atlanta that are still having gas issues/lack of gas, remember that the WM garden center has blue plastic 6 gallon water holders which will legally hold gas. They are between $6-7.
IPMQs and TGIF IPMQ's were still accepted at this SWM . An assistant manager kindly and efficiently rang me up .He said his staff was having a hard time getting to work due to our gas shortage. This SWM is on MARTA (our mass transit system) so I was surprised. I complimented him on being a teamplayer.I asked him if he had heard of WM not accepting IPMQS or any qs imparticular. He said the only thing he had heard from corporate here was to not accept these Q's..then he graciously showed me a sheet of paper he had next to the register. It had 4 of the 41 Facebook coupons on it and something about vyrlmarket and Texas at the bottom.:
1. $6 Ca Pizza
2. $6 Tyson Chix nuggets
3. $3.50 Sargento cheese
4. $15 Venus
Thanks to all that posted info. Nothing new here as many know ymmv. I did post long ago that one of my SWM's (Chamblee location) does not accept bricks IPMQ's. I am not going to worry or stress about it. I will still shop at WM and use qs.Peaches are now $1.29 here. HTH someone.

UGH! After a great experience last night, I decided to stop at the SWM by hubby's work. I ended up so mad that I left. Unfortunately, I left 2 of my coupons behind also - grrr.
The cashier scanned my insert q's, but my IP's he shoved back at me and said "these are fake and fraudulent, we can't take them." I said - "no... they aren't..." and handed them back. He says, "they are fake, we can't take them." I said, 'they are printed off the website. Yes, you can take them..." He goes and gets some lady who walks away with my coupons for a minute, then comes back and says, "these are fake and fraudulent, so we won't take them." I said, "NO... they are printed off of the internet." She says, "they are copies." I said, "NO! I printed them at my computer." She shrugged. (yes SHRUGGED!!!!) Then she says, "they are for more than the product is worth. We can't take them." and then she walked away - just up and walked away. All of this, of course, occured in front of other people. I am sooo so mad!

I've got a ton, also. Girl and front end lady couldnt get the Crystal Light to scan last nite and the Wheat Thins wouldnt scan for the Chips, only the crackers. I've used them both on same thngs at Shop Rite, maybe they should have covered the right side of UPC code. 2nd trans girl did that for all my coupons and hand scanned them alll.....but I didnt try the others again.
I've got so many Kraft to do....
Yes, you can take them..." He goes and gets some lady who walks away with my coupons for a minute, then comes back and says, "these are fake and fraudulent, so we won't take them." You've got to report that. Do you have their names?
I tried an IP coupon last nite and she took it to ask someone and came back saying there was a meeting and an email and they cant take them anymore because of some fake ones. I explained they were from the Facebook site, etc and altho mine were ok, I just told her to take the product off, its ok.

We were told that they arent paying walmart back, so walmarts losing a ton of money. And there reason for not paying them back is because they are fake (which is why u were told that ank220).....I ASSUME the only ones that are fake and they are having a cow about are the FB but walmarts kinda dumb sometimes and decideds all of IP's are fake. And thats its easier to just not take any then to pick certain ones.

I haven't had any issues with my local SWM concerning using IPs. I am sure it is just a matter of time though. I had a pretty good run today. I got:
(3) gallon milk $3.48 - $1.50=$1.98
(4) kotex $1-$1=$0
(6) oreo cookies $2.50-50c=$2
(3) spaghetti sauce $0.99 (no coupon)
2 yards fabric to finish a quilt $8.88 (unfortunately, no coupon for this)
Subtotal=$41.20
AC=$29.76
After Tax=$32.21

Just my opinion, but I bet a lot of this concern over internet printed coupons will disappear tomorrow, since 9/30 is the exp date on the Facebook coupons. After today, they can simply go back to looking at expiration dates. I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't a special message being put out to the stores to watch for those coupons one last time, as people may decide to go give them one last try on the last day. As we all have seen and will see again.... that message could have been interpretted as ALL INTERNET Printed coupons.
Here's to hoping it will all settle down in your areas soon.

Yes, I definitely got their names. I tried to call 800 walmart right away, but after holding for 20 minutes on my pre-paid cell... I had to hang up. I was so angry. I emailed, but if I don't get a response by tomorrow, I am calling.
Can't believe the FB q's are still causing a ruckus! That is sooo annoying. The pain is that you can look at the dumb coupon i was using and see that it says "Smart Source" on it!

They are spreading like the plague..it is soo awful. :nono
People I know that NEVER use Qs sent them to me & asked about them. I hate that someone is going to try to use these not knowing the issue.

OT - I made a last minute run to Target last night and the lady in front of me used several FB coupons. When she saw that they worked, she ran back to 'get one more thing' - which was the Fiji Water. The cashier scanned them all, smiled and told her to have a nice night.
I was able to use the TGIF at one Walmart - the cashier initially said she couldn't take it then called 2 CSMs over. CSM 1 said no then CSM 2 said to price modify Q down and write price on Q.
Next Walmart said no so I left without them.

That is terrible about the lady using the facebook Q's. Too bad there was no way for you to tell her without embarrassing her in front of the cashier. Sooner or later she will find out I'm sure, and it probably won't be pleasant for her.

Sorry if this has already been answered, but will the All You Kraft coupons likely beep tomorrow?
I cannot find my coupon folder to save my life. I had great plans to use them all today but can't find them. I still made some great deals and earned back my money from buying the magazines, but definitely wanted more cheese and crackers, if nothing else.
Any advice from the decoding experts?

I've never had any expired qs beep at WM. Its more a matter of the cashier getting in trouble for taking the expired qs. YMMV depending on cashier. You may also want to weigh the pros & cons -- your store may come down hard & start being very picky about qs if you pass off a lot of expireds.

They shouldn't beep though usually with a Q there is a grace period for submission by each store. This is YMMV.. Due to the Kraft Q's being free a cashier is going to look at the Q to see what qualifies, what is free, and will prolly check the expiration. Decoding is usually for Q's that can be used at a SCO without a cashier assistance. With WM the cashiers are held responsible for accepting expired Qs which could lead to grumpy cashiers and stores that crack down on Q usage. I am sure you have a feel for the environment of your store about Q usage just use your best judgement :)

Went to WM with my sister yesterday, coupons in hand. When we got to the cashier, my sister went first and the cashier was scrutinizing EVERY coupon she had, so I just left and went to another one, it wasn't that I didn't have legit coupons, just didn't feel like dealing with it. Anyway, she called me while I was checking out on my cell and said they were refusing to take her internet coupons, I told her I had the policy with me to come and get it.
Apparently, her cashier said that all her internet coupons were photo copies, she asked her how that was possible when they were IN COLOR! The cashier left her register (with a line full of people) went into the accounting office, came back and said they told her no internet printables. She then called the CSM over and she said the same, my sister told her she had asked prior and they said they were accepted, the CSM got all pissy and said fine, just take them! I had NO issues with my order, everything went through perfectly, so when she came over to tell me about her ordeal, I was LIVID!
We may be sisters, but we're very different. I am very hot tempered and I won't back down where she will hide in a corner and cry. She had tears in her eyes and was so embarassed. Well, when I saw how upset she was, I was even MORE mad! I had the door greeter call a manager up, and that same rude CSM came over and I said, nope, I want an assistant manager! Needless to say, after me the manager, she told me that they DO take printables! I told her she needs to set these CSMs straight and it's ridiculous that they don't know their own coupon policies. She apologized and said next time tell them that she said it was okay. Ugh, what a mess!
UPDATE: First of all, I used to work at WM from 1994-99, so I still know a few people that work at my store. Well, apparently as I was "having words" with the Assistant Manager last week, the lady from the Accounting Office saw me and I knew her. Anyway, she came up to me the other day and asked if I was the one who was having problems with the IPs and I told her yes. She said that the Manager came and talked to her after speaking with me. Get this, the cashier never went into the Accounting Office, the CSM did, and the lady in the Office told her that they take IPs, and the CSM said okay. The CSM proceeds to go to the checkout and tell my sister that the lady in AO told her NO. She flat out LIED to my sister! My guess is, she didn't wanna come off her high horse to admit she was wrong. The nerve of some people, UGH.

The Manager was supposed to speak with the cashier and the CSM. It ticks me off because the cashier wasn't sure if she should take it, and the CSM is the one that told her NO. Even after the Accounting Office told her it was okay. I really wish WM would set these CSMs straight on what the coupon policy is, AND make them follow it.

It was a pain using them at Wal Mart. The cashiers would take their time looking at them and when they did get around to keying in the price it would often times say Amount Too Large or something. I used the bulk of mine at Meijers after I figured out they auto-deduct. It made life so much simpler. Most of the times the cashiers didn't even look at the Q, they just scanned away.

On the tyson coupon, does it work at the self check out? or is it better to go through a cashier. same question on the HP paper coupon, SCO or cashier? I can get the tyson coupon to scan at a price checkerhttp://forums.slickdeals.net/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=13150910 at target but it has not scanned at the checkout. they have graciously key it in for me but I always feel a bit anxious.. Feel free to pm me the finer details of these 2 coupons of you have helpful insight to offer me. PLEASE be nice to me, I like all of you and am simply trying to learn the ins and outs in a changing rule game.
I did spend all 4 sets of the all you coupons. the last 2 rounds were stressful as the cashier wanted to qualify each of the items, had to see that taco bell was a kraft item, didn't think she could take a coupon for one of the 3 items that qualified. had to verify the jello and cool whip were kraft.....After all that she grumbled about the 10 muir glen coupons I gave her. they scan fine, but she had to show me how people can make fakes with photoshop. Oh well I was comfortable that I was 100% legal in my transaction and they should not cause me grief.
Thanks again for being such a helpful and friendly site, I have kearned and saved so much. i am waiting by my mail box to see I get bricks coupons mailed to me. I will do a happy dance if i get a stack on envies in the mail!

I have had no trouble using the Tyson $3 and HP $3 coupons at the SCO. As long as they scan at the price checker, they should also scan at SCO. As long as your item is $3 or above, and the first 5 UPC digits match the coupon, it should sail right through. I've also used them with cashiers.
if your store has those disinfecting wipes near the shopping cart corral, grab one right before hitting the self checkout and clean off the scanner. This has helped me at several stores.

I've been using the small post-its on each Kraft coupon. I write the price and just tell the cashier I thought I'd help her/him out a bit. She/He writes the price, pulls the post-it off and throws it away. Seems to save a little time as they don't have to print off the receipt and search for the prices. I know the deal is over, but maybe we'll luck up and find some more freebie coupons soon!

There are definitely no coupons inside of the box, I bought 4 of them. I bet it was just a numskull trying to see what they smelled like that missed the scratch and sniff sticker. I found a bunch of open candles the other day as well, I have no idea why anyone would open the candles because they definitely have a hole in the top of the plastic box. Whoever did it was a jerk about it too, the plastic boxes were ripped open. Walmart will eventually have to damage them out I think, I know I wouldn't buy it.
I used the all u visine q on the little bottle .28 fl oz. hanging at the registers these were $1.94 and have the same family code as the bigger ones. These are great to put in purse or diaper bag or just leave in the car. The q. did ask is this the valid amt on q but cashier just verified it was so got some overage on this.
sorry if this is a repost, I do try to keep up and didnt remember this ever posted hth

Shoot, I wish I had known about this size. Mine cost 3.63. So I paid .63. Oh well, not to bad.

Walmart will eventually have to damage them out I think, I know I wouldn't buy it.
 and :thanks:
these will surely have to be damaged out as they were basically torn all apart. I would have bought a few of them even if they were opened & I could close them back but they were torn apart..these were candles and noticeables both.
WINNERS I tell ya...WINNERS!!!!

If you are looking for cheap undies, best bet is TJ Max or Ross. I always find something fun in my size in the clearance section for somewhere between 50 cents and $2. Last time I went I got 5 pairs of really nice ones for $4.60 (including 3 microfiber boyshorts, mesh boy short, and a $8 msrp thong), cheaper than nasty hanes granny panties! :yummy: Between that and the clearance bras I have so many that some of then are close enough to look like they were a set.
The steamers are $1.83 at my Walmart

The lamisilk cream to powder foot therapy (purple tube) was on clearance last night at walmart for $3.50. It was still on the shelf in the normal spot with a red tag. If you still have some of the $3.00 coupons left (I don't) then this would be $.50!!

Just came from my WM Supercenter. I was denied ALL of my internet coupons. I only had 8- 2 each of four different ones, all legit, from coupons.com and smartsource.com. I asked to talk to the manager on duty who told me that Wal Mart stores will no longer be accepting any internet coupons because they were not getting paid on them.
Has anyone else been told this? I'm so upset.

I saw them at the end cap of the aisle today at my WM Supercenter this morning. They looked as if they were marked down (they were with a whole bunch or random stuff), but when I took them and some of the other razor sets that were with them to the self scanner, they were all regular price.
Hope this helps.

ok OT but my 2 year trashed my printer, and so I am going crazy looking for deals! But I have a question for you all, do you like the ink jet or laser printers for printing coupons the best. I have only had the ink jet and have had been happy with it (prints in color if I want) but really runs throught the ink. So I was thinking about the laser (more printed pages for less) but it doesnt have color and I have read that some people find that stores dont want to take them if they are not in color.
Ok sorry for all that but really would like your input
so back to walmart. I tried to use a hotweels/barbie coupon for some barbie skates but was shot down because it woud not scan, The casher and the manager agreed that it was sporting goods like the coupon says but still would not take it because of the "new rules" This stinks because i have not found anyting with the barbie that has this barcode on it, and in the past they have taken it for fishing boxes and stuff.
Both the people were sorry they could not take it, even said maybe i could contact the coupon company and have them send me something that does work or tell me what it works on because they couldnt see why it did not work.
Most of you know this is not even a IP. So I am kinda afraid of what will happen when I get my printer up and running again and try and use some of them. :(
sorry for the long post.

sounds like the word is spreading....about IPs :nono:
I was calling WM cust srv about another issue & thought I would ask about the IPs...
per the rep..she had to put me on hold 4 times to get a "straight" answer, she said.
Finally she comes back & says there was a huge meeting about this & the stores will have all the answers. I was like...hmmm that's why I am calling my store didn't have a definite answer. One person said 1 thing & someone else said something else...both were managers/supervisors they said. She said, I was advised to say "No internet Qs until further notice".
I don't know how true this is...but this is the story I was given about 30 mins ago..
Hope it is not the case....but I guess I won't know until I go to the store. ;)

Well then, if that holds to be true. Then, no more coupon shopping at Wal-Mart for me, until further notice. I guess I'll still stop by to return my bottles there. Then, take the deposit money and go spend it else where.

I haven't been denied yet, at Meijer. But, they have been checking the high valued internet printables against a booklet of unacceptable coupons, I'm guessing the Facebook coupons.

Don't get worried this has been in discussion for awhile before this thread was even made. WM's round the US have certain issues with Q's and will limit, not take, etc, etc, Q's at their own discretion. Best thing you can do is take a copy of WM's Q policy and try and get somewhere with that but some stores will flat out not take IPQ's. This is a YMMV thing so if your store takes them USE THEM to your best ability :)
Forgot to look for the razor gift sets :( Ok, another reason to make a WM run!!

If it scans it should be fine.. I mean they get credit. At most it might come up and say "Valid coupon" or something like that, you know? I've had that come up on me before as a cashier.. and I just hit enter for yes.
Of course, some people would say that's not fair and right that it takes 2 dollars off the receipt, but they get reimbursed so as far as I'm concerned.. I couldn't care less.

My store had about 20 of the razor sets, I only had 6 qs so I left plenty for others. BTW, they are NOT marked. Had to have an associate scan since the self scanners are being relocated due to remodel.
Which central IN WM are you shopping? I'm in Avon. PM Please!

It's weird.. prior to this event starting I read somewhere that it was only valid at participating stores, and now I'm reading corporate said that all stores should be participating?
I can't even find where I found the original thread at.. anyone else read this? Or am I just insane?

I went to my K-MART and the manager knew that other stores had been doubling but not this one. I didn't feel like arguing with him so I just left it at that. But I heard that you can call corporate if your store won't do it for you.

I notice that a lot of the prices in the wiki are now out of date due to inflation.
The Vlassic ovals here are now 1.52 (They were running 1.26)
Electrsol coupons 2.25 - it was 3.78 at my walmart but is now 4.48. Those expire today.
Everytime I go in wal-mart the prices are higher about 15-20%.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin rejuvinator originaly $33.92 found it on clearance for $5 there is a $5 off coupon on the neutrogena website. which makes it $0.44 tax only.
They had 1 marked as $5 with the rest of the clearance items but when i scaned the one on the shelf marked for $33.92 it also scan $5.This is YMMV but its worth the try.

Went to Wal-mart last night, first time that I have been denied use of any IP q's. The cashier (young boy) went to ask manager. She came over and so they will no longer accept any IP q's that the address can't be read clearly. She finally did allow the green giant steamer q's. But said this will change tomorrow, no longer accept any. I live in a very rural area in Kentucky. I told my husband no more wal-mart then, all my q's are legit but seems like everyone is being punished. Can anyone read the address on the TGIF q, mine is fuzzy.
OT but a friend's daughter works for Kmart & she told me that they will be doing the double coupons on a monthly basis. Can anyone confirm? If this is true then NO more Wal-mart for sure, I hate that place!

And I thought it was just me! I've definitely noticed this and am finding that Kroger is offering me much better deals - I never thought I'd say that! I load shortcuts coupons directly on my card and top that with a MQ and their double of everything up to .50 as well as keep a close eye out on the deals in their circular - it's very easy to beat WalMart. Didn't "need" much this weekend but my initial bill was $26.90 and my final came to $3.93 and I walked away with five bags and a giant bag of kitty litter! Granted, WalMart can be much lower on their everyday prices but I haven't felt I'd done as well there lately. Glad to see someone else has also noticed this!

I can't say for sure what the price was the last time I checked, but I'm pretty positive it's a bit more than 0.78. I think it should be closer to $1.25 or $1.50, perhaps even a little more. Heck, I hope I'm wrong because I'd go and buy up a lot at that price.

I am sad to say that I have visited three super walmarts today and not found the clearanced Neutrogena Healthy Skin Rejeuvenator. I saw it at one store, not in clearance and scanned at normal price of $33-something. I am going to keep my eye open for this, and my coupons are ready to go. I really would like to find a couple of these and grab them up.
Second...my Coke coupons would not scan at a walmart I don't go to very often. I could tell the self check out was much different than the one I am accustomed to using. This one would only catch insert coupons, anything printable it would not scan. Very unusual. It even would not catch the barcode on some archery arrows my son was trying to buy. Very finicky machine compared to our usual store.
Just noting that the sco machines are varied and it is entirely possible for one person to have one experience and another with the same coupons and order, have a way different, more difficult experience.

I was able to find the Fusion gift sets today. Woohoo! First I looked over with all the other razors, didn't see it. Wandered around some more and then I ended up finding it in the skincare aisle. It was mixed with a bunch of other really random stuff (from skincare to toothpaste, etc). The shelf tag was marked as $9.86 but luckily there was a lady in that aisle restocking so I had her scan it and sure enough, it was $5.00. And I had my $4 Qs ready to go :)
Has anyone seen the $7 CWS trial sized kits that were mentioned here awhile back? I still have yet to see them :(

Finally found some Johnson's Buddies Sudzing bars! The cashier repeated to me over and over that I couldn't use two same coupons twice (I was not - I used two different qs for $3 on 3 products) and she could not believe that I would be getting the soaps for free plus 3 cents overage per bar! I could see in her face that she wanted to deny me use of the coupons but she could not think of any reason to refuse them. It took her awhile for her to ring me up. Geez!

If you have your coupons, get through them quickly. I still have 40 of the $5 off noticables coupon, but I am begining to see in some of the WMs near me, the prices reverting back to $7.87. At some WM's near me, the green morning walk/cleansing rains are $7.87, while at other WM's they are still $5.97. The only ones that are consistently $5.97, and probably won't revert back up in price are the "limited editions", orangie/peachy colored box, autumn spice/harvest festivities, and the cream/beige colored box, vanilla refresh/vanilla bean. Those all come in carboard box containers, but the autumn spice/harvest festivities also comes in a cheaper looking clear plastic container, the older/newer? style packaging that you may have seen at WAGs & CVS.
WM had for about a month, the renuzit triscents for $4.99. They went nicely with the $4 coupon, those have reverted back to $7.99, yuk!
WM had those larger lysol nuetra airs for $6, but those have reverted back to $11.
They still have the smaller airwick freshmatic mini's for $6, and there is the $4 coupon, so thats nice.
But the 2 new specials to mention that I saw last night at WM, the glade fabric & air odor eliminator sprays were $2.50, which goes nicely with the $1.50 off coupon. Not 50 cents each, like at WAGs the month of august, but for those that didnt get in on that, you cant beat $1, these normally are $3.99 everywhere, including WM.
Lastly, WM has lowered the price on the Airwick luminares, down to $6. There is a $3 off coupon, or a $3 off peelie that was found at WAGs, makes these $3 each AC, which can't be beat, they are normally like $11 too!
Went to 6 WM's last night. Found the fusion gift packs at 2 stores. 1 store had 9 left, I got them all. The 2nd WM had 24 sets! I bought 18, and left 6 for the others. Gonna go back over to that WM here in a few minutes, if they are still there, I'm getting those too! Huge thanks go out to the OP who mentioned these sets. Just when I thought my city was sold out of these things, I found a few sets!

Hi, some walmart clearance that I didn't see mentioned.
Various comforters reg. $49.99 now $13.00
youth baseball bats now $9.00
Plus the 5-cup brita pitchers on clearance for $5-free after coupon printable if your store takes them.
Maybe others know this, but I just discovered that the All You magazine has a alphabetical listing in the back on the editorial page of which coupons are in the edition, the value of them and the page number.

Reps for such a very deal-friendly post. I like them ;)
Second store I went to NO fusion giftsets. I have one store left to hit the motherload my Q's are seriosly burning a hole in my pocket.
Lot of clearance bathroom stuff such as wicker baskets -- I got a kleenex box holder with a hinged top for 2.50 it fits 2 boxes of kleenex side by side, so I put cotton balls and Qtips in to fill the empty space it was a good deal.
Lots of 2 packs from the back to school section such as lysol wipes, and febreze 2 packs slightly marked down and cheaper then buying seperate. I will check my Q's and see if I can pull a deal together.
Anyone confirm that Gain is still $5 I totally forgot about stockpiling while the sale is going on and I went in last nite to WM and forgot AGAIN GRRRR. Otherwise, I will check tonite I am hitting up 1 more WM for razors ;) Wish me luck !!!:woot:

Price Check - Does anyone know how much the full size candy bars are at WM? I'm not picky - M&M's, Kit Kat, Nestle Crunch, etc. They were 2 for $1.00 at Dollar Tree and that is outrageous! I need the full size bars! Thanks

That really doesn't seem outrageous. A regular size candy bar is $1 or more at the gas stations in my area. Of course, WM will be cheaper but I wouldn't expect them to be too much less than 50 cents. Seems like I remember something like 44 cents or so the last time I noticed when I was waiting in line at checkout.

I'm thinking the candy bars are about $0.68 at WM. I don't remember for sure if that's the exact number but I remember being surprised when I saw they took a huge hike from the $0.44 they used to be. Unfortunately 2/$100 is a good deal these days. :shake:

I knew I remembered 44 cents from somewhere! I can't remember the last time I've bought a candy bar.

What Coke coupon are you speaking of??
I haven't seen any printable coke coupons lately.
thanks

Just when I thought my city was sold out of these things, I found a few sets!
thanks for the heads up does anyone have a pic of what these sets look like?

Personally, 2/$100 seems a bit steep, I love a good Hershey's as much as the next girl, but fifty dollars?? Just joking of course, the typo made me laugh!
When I was at Wal-Mart I remember seeing the plain hershey's bars (solid chocolate ones), were rollback'ed to 33 cents each and the others were higher, but I can't remember how much higher.

The 2-pack of Reese cups was $0.33. The 4-pack was close to $1.

Durex lubricants are $4.12-$4.36 at our Wal-mart, and they took the $5 IP posted here (http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=0&t=881151) for overage. YMMV of course.

Hi all...
Just mentioning that I was at Wags last night and got full size individual Snickers bars 4 for $1.00. They were on the top shelf, candy isle with a red clearance sticker hanging in front of them. This is for the regular bars only, not the almond or dark. HTH!

It came up with "Valid coupon amount?" but the cashiers always just push things through when that message comes up here.

If there are any coupons out there that I have missed for Gain please point me in the right direction. TIA
There were two Gain coupons that came out in the RP (I think) insert a few weeks ago.
$1 off detergent
$1 off fabric softener or fabric sheets
They expire at the end of this month.
