I use amazon also, and it's easy to get the $20 if you do all the surveys they send you

How exactly do you join Valued Opinions. Their website says by invitation only. Who invites you?

I have had good experiences with them. Once you reach $20, you request an Amazon GC and they send you a gift code fairly quickly.

I have a link but I can't post it here, so you could register.

The gift code is immediately but takes a while to credit your earnings. I've had some that take up to a month to credit, but they always come thru.

I also hate this site...you need to bookmark the login page once you find it, otherwise it is virtually impossible to get to.
As a company they are mediocre. I do not even attempt most of their surveys...$1 for 20 minutes and things like that. They can keep their dollar. They generally pay you too little for the time required, but for the ones I complete I have always been paid eventually (unlike those crooks at testspin).
Trying to cash out for a week now but they are currently out of Amazon Gift Codes? Is it that hard to get a gift code from Amazon?

Maybe you could update your profile, can't remember the site that well since they cheated me and I resigned. This is one of the games they play.

I've only been with them for about a month and a half and have already made 29.00 but 27.50 is still pending. I think it takes about a month to actually credit the account. I've only done 5 surveys and 1 PT. They started sending a lot more surveys after I completed my profiles but I don't do them all because some really aren't worth it. Just wondering... has anyone tried the VISA debit card yet?

01/10 $5
all three surveys are here, but the total rewards are still shown as $5.. so when will the additiona 3.5 dollars add to the total? thanks

That happens to me too. I noticed sometimes it takes a few days (after the reward is added) for the correct total to show.

Ditto! I've been checking every day to cash out another Amazon and yesterday had one posted under "reward history" but did NOT add to my "current award balance". I just checked again and it hasn't changed. This site is rather tricky to keep up with earnings in that the actual surveys are not clearly identified with unique numbers. :O However, the survey name will be identical to the original invite for tracking purposes.

one thing i observe is that this company does not really do much survey itself, but it also helps other companies collect surveys, that's why it gave me much more than the pinecone. This cookie thing sound a little bit awkward, but i hope they will not screw up with any of our web browsing data.
It's a good site of surveys.

"Thank you very much for your interest in our surveys. Unfortunately you can’t participate in this study. Our records indicate that your ID has already been registered for this project and/or data inconsistencies have been identified regarding the profile data you’ve provided.
Has anyone experienced same problem?

I am currently waiting on two $20.00 GC's to arrive. The first one, I redeemed for back in December. I got this email, after I had contacted themn about not recieving it.
Dear valued opinions member,
As you are aware there is a delay with the Visa card you redeemed (or was reordered for you) on our website between the dates of December 17th-23rd, 2009.
There is currently a delay with the process of this card due to a technical error.
We are receiving a greater than normal amount of e-mails lately due to this delay, so we have not been able to respond to your e-mails or phone calls. Please accept this message as a response to your previous inquiries.
We had hoped to have this situation resolved already; however, this was not possible.
We want to let you know that Visa will now be processing your orders and they should be sent out of the Visa office in Illinois by Tuesday, February 9th, 2010. Depending on where you live, this should arrive within 3-7 days from this date.We are working on improving our voucher ordering system so this does not happen again in the future. We do apologize for this delay and the inconvenience it may have caused you.
Should you have any further questions about this or any other matter, please do not hesitate to contact us at inquiries@valuedopinions.com or check our FAQ.
Kind regards,
IsabelThe Valued Opinions Team

Finzz, were you ever able to get your GC? Waiting on mine that I cashed out about 5 weeks ago. Going to email them now. They say on their site you should receive it within 28 days. They should update that if that's not the case anymore!

Yes, I sure did! I got both cards. There was definitley a bit of a delay, and it was well past the estimated time frame, but after contacting them, both cards did arrive.

I've had super long delays both times I've cashed out with them. I was finally able to get my first cash out, but have yet to get my second. I still have money waiting in there too - perhaps amazon is the way to go to get your money faster.

Yeah. I guess so. They responded to my email today stating there was a delay with my pre-paid Visa, but didn't bother to tell me how long of a delay we're talking. It's already been 5 weeks. If I would have known this, I would have taken the Amazon without a doubt. But I was thinking 28 days was no biggie. They really need to update their website because it's very misleading by telling people they'll get their pre-paid Visa within 28 days when obviously that's not been true for some time now.

and the reasoning for the long release times:
We are very sorry for the delay. Surveys normally take up to 28 days to close and then are queued for processing by our I.T. department. However, there is currently a bit of a backlog of surveys to be processed which we hope to clear over the following month.
Should you have any further questions about this or any other matter, please do not hesitate to contact us at inquiries@valuedopinions.com or check our FAQ.

I delete those. Never pay much on the low end anyways. I like how these survey companies always say it is someone else job, not theirs. They offered the survey so it is their job.

Absolutely disgraceful it takes them 7 weeks to mail out a prepaid card. Then you also have to monitor that they actually pay you for surveys you took since when it doesnt show they try and pass the blame on a '3rd party company'
Their company name seems to be a misnoma

Is anyone seeing a large delay in some surveys posting? I have 3 that have been pending for almost 2 months. Every time I email about it I get the canned response that they will look into it and then a second one that it is the responsibility of the 3rd party to pay me. And I have a PT from May that still hasn't arrived.
I used to really like Valued Opinions but they are slipping right now to Survey Spot levels.

Anyone else ever had a problem with Valued Opinions with their total balance not actually equaling the sum of each of the credited surveys? Currently I have $1.50 more listed under reward history than the total. Should I assume maybe it only updates the total each night or something? I had four credited today but it appears only three are counting towards the total (or they just can't add).

I called today to have them look into 4 different surveys that are parked in pending for over 30 days each. The person I spoke to was very nice and helpful. As for the PT that never showed she said that it was because the study had filled up so I didn't get it, not sure how this works since one would think the survey would be inactive if it was full. But she gave me 1$ credit for the PT I won't be getting, so that was nice.

That has happened to me with perfume PT's too. I have gotten 3 perfume PT's from 3 different companies. I was kinda worried too about it since Im registered with the same email addy for all of them, and obviously used the same address. But they all came, I got compensated for all of them. VO just updated my rewards and I can cash out again---my choice is amazon gc- which for some reason is always hard to get. No worries, I will just keep checking every day until it's offered. Did you also have an order for a Visa canceled from earlier in the summer? Maybe it's a glitch in their system that didn't really cancel those orders and are fulfilling them because they are back in stock now or something?

I did have an order in but it was obviously not granted because of the swift visa issue. I called Isabel and she credited the 20 back to me. Just making sure this was a safe transaction, perhaps it's a thank you from them, not sure how many others got it

Heads up Survey 449902056 from 9-29 will only be credited once a quarter, there is a 3 to 4 month backlog on those. Also time to release surveys should be bumped to 5 to 6 weeks after completion of a survey. i have over $25.50 pending and she can't help me with a single one. keep all screen shots and invites that you complete, mass confusion going on over there

I've had three pending surveys disappear from my account over the past three weeks. My e-mails to them go unanswered. The surveys total only $2.50, but it's still frustrating, especially when I'm $2 away from cashing out a $20 Amazon gc.

It is becoming a necessity for companies to withhold earnings longer because of the rampant lying and quick cash-out options. Survey companies are not in business to lose money and that seems to be what started to happen because so many lying survey takers skewed or completely ruined data collection for surveys/studies and those who originally commissioned the surveys/studies are not going to pay these companies for bunk data.

We post them as a heads up because a lot of people ignore lower paying surveys and/or surveys that quote an exaggerated completion time but turn out to be interesting product tests. Many of us do get offered the same surveys so when someone posts the survey number for a good PT or another interesting survey we can go back and check our emails.

I am getting so fed up with Valued Opinions. Over the past six weeks, four pending surveys have gone missing from my account. It took customer service nearly a month to respond to my first e-mail about the first survey, which they manually added to my account. It almost looks like, when the survey reaches to the point of being paid, it's removed from pending but the money isn't added to the current award balance.
Is anyone else having the same problem?

Call her directly and she can look up your account and perhaps resolve any problems you have.

I've spoken to her probably 5 or 6 times over the course of my time with VO she's very nice and always willing to help out. I'd recommend giving her a call if your waiting for an email because that could take a while. You'll get her on the first try 9x out of 10 so I definitely recommend it.

I redeemed an Amazon voucher today for $20 and never received, at that time, a message saying the Amazon voucher was not available.
My account shows the Amazon gift card (sent via email) was redeemed today and the money was taken out of my account, but there is no gift card code. None listed on my account and none received via email. I always receive it instantaneously via email, but it's been all day and I still haven't gotten it. I emailed them, and hope to hear from them. I called them and got their voice mail and left a message.
Has anyone else had this happen? I was just wondering what to expect. Thanks.

I still don't have the Amazon gift code, and it's been two days. I called them today since "Isabel" didn't return my call, and left another message. If you call them and just press, I think it's 2, for customer service, it rings a few times and then the call disconnects.
I don't know what's going on but they must be aware that they're having a problem. At least when Survey Spot has a problem they post ongoing information on their website to keep you updated on the situation.
I'm not doing anymore surveys for Valued Opinions until this is resolved.

Isabel called me this afternoon and said that Amazon gift card codes will take up to a week to arrive to one's email. I said that she ought to put that message on their web site to let people know, and she said that there's a pop up that occurs when you choose the Amazon code that now says it will take 7 days to arrive to your email,. I said I didn't see that popup and she said you must have had your pop up blocker turned on. It was a quick conversation we had and it was pleasant but to the point.
Anyway, I just wanted to give a heads up that there is now a delay for Amazon codes. I wonder why it's changed?

I wonder if there is an Amazon delay issue because of the holidays. I noticed when I did my MyView Cashout this week that they have removed Amazon GCs as an option since the last time I cashed just 3 weeks ago. i cashed from another site this morning for an Amazon card that generals get it to me the same day. We'll see if that one is delayed or sticks with their regular turn-around.

For some reason, I just don't have a good feeling about this. It sounds like they're having financial problems if they don't have the money to purchase the codes. Why don't they have the money? Obviously something is wrong, how serious it is only time will tell.

No, I haven't. I cashed out on 3/3/11 and still haven't gotten it. I have emailed numerous times but have just gotten the auto-response. They used to pay instantly and you used to be able to see the code in your account but not anymore.

Glad to know I am not the only one still waiting on their vouchers. I also cashed out on 3/6 and am still waiting here. I sent them a message yesterday but still awaiting a response.

You guys and gals must be getting better offers than the $6/hr crapola they barrage me with. Either that, or you're not picky like me. :lmao:

I would say 19/20 offers I get from them are of the $6/hr variety. Sometimes I will do the ten minute ones if my progress appears to be moving well. Have not been able to cash out with them very much in the last year. :weeping:

Survey frequency has gone down a ton with these guys for me...I emailed Isabel today, she told me over the summer that they may be re-contracting the swift visa gift cards eventually. just wanted to see where they were with that. they were the best.
