Mypoints took over 1400 points out of my account yesterday. I guess Style Feeder made a booboo? Has this happened to anyone else? Have any more info? I emailed both Mypoints and Style Feeder but haven't heard anything back yet.

No it doesn't! That's why it bothers me. I was almost to another $10 gift card. Jerks.

Don't feel bad, I had over 92,000 pts, they have dropped me down to just over 63,000 and they are still pending until Feb. 5. I emailed them on Saturday and they have yet to reply back.

I agree, How long have you been a member to have that many points. Everytime I reach 3500 points, I seem to cashout.

I got most of these with the stylefeeder promo, which I did in mid Sept. and they just went to my account the beginning of January, now it's a sit and wait until they are no longer pending or they start taking more away. I only have about 2,000 points that aren't pending.

Yea holding on to tons of points isnt a good idea. besides, nothing on that site is that high of a price, why not use it?

As I said before, they are pending points. I can't use them until they clear on Feb. 5th.

I usually wait until I can get a $50 gc before cashing out.

Man, my account is a mess. They took points off, they put points on, then they took them off again.

I would want to know why the points were removed... I know they go *pending* to verify points but what happened that they decided they weren't valid? You should be told why! And I am rather curious myself... I've been with MP for many years and never had points taken away for anything.

Yeah, they put all of mine back too, but they're pending now. :/ I could have used the GC I could have gotten with all those points to get my baby niece a nice gift for her first birthday. Oh well. At least I'll be able to use them eventually. :glasses2:

I emailed them and complained. They sent back a canned email telling me that they'd get to the bottom of it, but I was never informed as to why they were taken off in the first place. Oh well. I got them back at least.

If you're a member of mypoints you should have gotten an email about them. That's the only way you can sign up for it. Basically we signed up for the site, and got 15 points for each item that we rated.

well i was looking at my account and they had 18,000 points pending!!! it said a whole bunch of +15 for style feeder. followed a month later by -15 reversal for style feeder so i figured they realized their mistake.

funny thing is, the points are no longer pending, i now have the 18000 points in my account!!! can they take them away even though they are no longer pending? there are no other points pending. should i even try cashing it in to get some gift cards? i dont want them canceling my account thinking i did something wrong. perhaps i should contact customer service.

I only did about 1500 worth on stylefeeder. My points finally aren't pending so I cashed out, but yeah I'd cash out asap just incase they try to take them away again. I wish I'd done more. Those were the easiest 1500 points ever.

after reading this thread - out of curiosity - i went to stylefeeder and low and behold I had an account there from Sept....I apparently rated 16 things and NEVER got any mypoints -- so I guess you all are lucky that you got them at all!
