The All-clad measuring cups is expired. Says must register by April 4, 2009 and must be postmarked by May 16, 2009.

I sent that one in but never received them. I know I sent it in before May 16th because I wasn't using Forever stamps and I wanted to make sure I didn't have to give the post office another couple cents in tax (stamps are a tax.... just no one calls it that any more).

I pay entirely way too much in tax..... lol!

The one for BBB is expired. The same All-Clad gift with registry offered from Williams-Sonoma is not expired.

About how long did it take for you to receive these? Just wondering as I sent off 5 offers on the 22nd of May and then about 14 of them today and I have more to send out. lol Just wondering when I should be looking for the UPS man. :D

Thanks

It took me about 3-4 weeks to receive most of the items, but only about 2 weeks for the Reed and Barton cake server set.

Stamps are not a tax at all. Actually, the 44 cents charged isn't enough to get the letter from one coast to the other. It is partially subsidized.

Stamps are a tax. It's just that there is a service they are applied to. Gas tax goes to road repairs, stamp revenues go to pay for the postal service. The SEC fees you pay when buying/selling stocks go to pay the SEC (and they still managed to miss every big blow up). State Disabity Insurance is a tax you pay in case u become disabled. Unemployment Tax is a tax that companies pay to fund unemployment claims. Just because the federal government can't manage to break even selling postage, doesn't mean stamps are not a tax.

You don't get taxed on a tax and so no sales tax is charged on postage.

HOWEVER if you purchase postage from a dealer you are SUPPOSED to pay sales tax. Stamp dealers are SUPPOSED to collect sales tax and pay it to the states. The stamps they sell are used for postage (u can still use stamps from the early 1900's if you have them as long as the postage all adds up to what is currently due).

The stamp dealers I know were the ones who pointed out the reasoning behind why we don't pay sales tax on postage from the post office but why they claim they owe it on what they sell.

Used to be lots of other taxes that were paid by buying specialty stamps (cigarettes, butter, potatoes, stocks (we now have the SEC fee, but used to be revenue stamps), silver, wine.

Some of those specialty stamps are worth several thousand dollars (apiece!) if they are in good condition.

Sadly, the stamps even from the 40's in good condition are worth about face value and worth more as lick and stick em if they are from the 60's. Dealers won't even pay you face for those.

Good news is you can buy them from dealers for under face value (and they'll claim they are paying the sales tax for you that they are required to collect...... lol!).

Well, it will be 3 weeks for a couple of them tomorrow. lol I hope I get all of them.

One said I needed a completed registry, so not sure if that meant my registry or a registry that had all gifts bought. It's the way it was worded that thru me off. lol I sent it anyway.

For anyone wondering what to do with the Le Creuset and Spode/Royal Worcester ramekins, go to www.allrecipes.com and search "ramekin." Lots of mini-casserole and other recipes.

I sincerely hope people aren't just doing this to sell the items on eBay. I've been doing this for my daughter and giving the gifts to her and her fiancee. I don't complete the offers that I know she wouldn't like such as the Oneida and Sophie Conran - she picks out the gifts she wants then I add a few items to complete the requirements. Also, her fiancee is moving here from England - having several different registries gives his relatives more options for international ordering.

**Also, I am going to Macy's tomorrow to get some of the missing forms since they haven't responded to my email. I'm going to stop by BB&B to get the Wedgewood form too. Are there any other missing BB&B forms? If so, I will try to get them.

I am not sure of any other gift forms needed except the Vera Wang form from Macy's ( I can't remember where I saw it at, but there's one for Vera Wang and I believe it's an ice bucket gift).........

don't forget to pick up her $59 value victorinox swiss army bag, they will say she has to complete her registry in store (scan a few items). Also in order to get the forms, you MUST have everything in the registry also they asked me if I knew which vendors I had, I drew a blank, so it may be helpful to have a list with you :)

Thanks for your list, I can't get to Macy's this weekend like I thought, so was a bit stressed in getting the forms. lol

When you say submitted by BB&B does that mean automatically?

No, I meant I only did one offer for each (for example, I only submitted the Cuisinart gift through Kohl's and not through the others that offered it - no duplicates that way).

I went back and edited to clear it up (I hope).

Oh, and I will check on the Vera Wang deal - I'm going to make them give me an updated list if it kills me.

When I emailed them asking for a current list of promotions I got the following reply:

All-Clad, Calphalon, Calvin Klein, Cuisinart, Delonghi, Keurig (NEW!), KitchenAid, Krups, Lenox, Michael Aram for Waterford, Marc Jacobs, Marquis, Mikasa, Noritake, Oneida, Portmeirion, Reed & Barton, Rowenta (NEW!), Spode/Royal Worcester/Vista Allegre, Sterling Flatware, Victorinox, Villeroy and Boch, Waterford China & Crystal, Waterford Flatware, Wilton, Wusthof

That's it - no details, no new booklet - just that list. So I don't know if those two are still current promotions. I'm about 75 miles from the closest Macy's store, so I don't exactly get to visit there very often ;)

I'll find out tomorrow and post an update.

Thanks for the additional forms! I am still looking for the Marc Jacobs Waterford form for the Daisy Crystal Votive ($95 value) and Lladro' for the Platinum Little Frog ($40 value) listed inthe the little booklet Macy's sent.

FYI - De'Longhi cheese board and knife set arrived in one week of mailing it out! :)

Most of the forms state 8-12 weeks, some say 10-12 weeks. So it could be a few months for some to come.

Update:

Villeroy & Boch baking dish here - much nicer than the one they had listed. It is oval, about 1 foot long and 5-6 inches wide with a plum tree branch with 2 leaves and 2 plums on the inside partially going from the bottom front side up the side of the dish. Really cool! Of course it is fine china! :D

Well, buttacup417 did better than I did today. I walked away with only the Keurig and Rowenta forms. The consultant claimed she didn't have any of the others I asked for and no new booklets either. She promised to have one mailed to me, but I've heard that song before. I swear, it's like pulling teeth to get those forms. I've combined all the forms that we have now into one big file and posted it on the Wiki (first page).

She did tell me that the only valid promotions right now are the following (she said the Lladro offer was canceled and no Orrefors/Kosta Boda, Oster or Vera Wang anymore):

All-Clad
Calphalon
Calvin Klein
Cuisinart
Delonghi
Keurig
KitchenAid
Krups
Lenox
Michael Aram for Waterford
Marc Jacobs
Marquis
Mikasa
Noritake
Oneida
Portmeirion
Reed & Barton
Rowenta
Spode/Royal Worcester/Vista Allegre
Sterling Flatware
Victorinox
Villeroy and Boch
Waterford China & Crystal
Waterford Flatware
Wilton Armetale
Wusthof

On a brighter note, I did get the Bed Bath & Beyond form for Wedgwood! Yay, one win for me today lol. (posted form on Wiki too)

I really wanted the Marc Jacobs votive and will be in town soon near a
larger snotty Macy's. Maybe dressing a little nicer will help me. :)

This is good business and they just don't get it. I bought some Royal

I purchased Calphalon items too after getting stuff.

The consultant I talked to today was a different person than the original girl that I emailed back and forth with. I was informed that she is no longer there - guess I know why I never got a response to my last email now.

And the chick today was more interested in helping two senior citizens who were browsing some fugly overpriced china than bothering with me and my daughter (my daughter was with me, so she should have known it wasn't an attempt at fraud). And, we were both dressed very nicely for girl's day out. Guess I didn't smell enough like money.

I'm planning on personally buying from my daughter's Macy's registry for the discounts they offer, and the fact that they donate to the charity of your choice when you buy.

So, all in all, I was more than a little ticked off that I had to pry the two precious forms that I did get from her most unhelpful hands. I would have been a lot happier if I could have at least gotten a current list of valid offers with details.

Sorry I couldn't get all of them for everyone.

And, I honestly think that's a typo on the BB&B Wedgwood form - how could you mail it by April 2009 if you created your registry in October 2009?

Question:

My fiancee and I changed our wedding date..we were originally planning to marry 5/30, but we changed the date to late August. Should I go in and change the registry date for the offers that I haven't mailed out yet? Or wait until I receive the offers I'm still waiting on to arrive before I make any changes? I don't want to jeopardize my chances of getting my last few registry gifts!

Also, I received the Gien Coasters a few days ago, and they are BEAUTIFUL! I've received over $500 worth of items from Macy's and Williams Sonoma alone, and still waiting for many to arrive! :-D

Wendyeagle,
I'd call that Macy's and talk to the Mgr about her! I'd let him know the distance away from the store you live, etc and what happened in the store and see what he/she can do for you. The associate should have called another associate to help you! I think they get commission on Fine China and Crystal stuff, not sure of it, but they use too!

I use to work for Macy's and the MGR doesn't like to LOOSE business because of a sales associate! Who knows you may get more than the 10% discount on something. lol

I think it's a misprint as well! I sent it out yesterday too. I also know the AllClad from BB&B I think was expired too, but I did do the one from Williams-Sonoma not expired!

I'm glad you received so many free gifts! I can't wait to get mine. lol

I'd change the wedding date for your wedding since you changed it (do it around the second week of July) and then mail out the rest of the offers.

Hope this was correct, but this is what I'd do.

I plan on using the Wedgewood form- thank you!

Still looking for the Wedgewood Silver Napkin Rings and Lenox Picture Frame Forms-
I am thinking of emailing BBB and just asking for them-

Well, buttacup417 did better than I did today. I walked away with only the Keurig and Rowenta forms. The consultant claimed she didn't have any of the others I asked for and no new booklets either. She promised to have one mailed to me, but I've heard that song before. I swear, it's like pulling teeth to get those forms. I've combined all the forms that we have now into one big file and posted it on the Wiki (first page).

She did tell me that the only valid promotions right now are the following (she said the Lladro offer was canceled and no Orrefors/Kosta Boda, Oster or Vera Wang anymore):

All-Clad
Calphalon
Calvin Klein
Cuisinart
Delonghi
Keurig
KitchenAid
Krups
Lenox
Michael Aram for Waterford
Marc Jacobs
Marquis
Mikasa
Noritake
Oneida
Portmeirion
Reed & Barton
Rowenta
Spode/Royal Worcester/Vista Allegre
Sterling Flatware
Victorinox
Villeroy and Boch
Waterford China & Crystal
Waterford Flatware
Wilton Armetale
Wusthof

On a brighter note, I did get the Bed Bath & Beyond form for Wedgwood! Yay, one win for me today lol. (posted form on Wiki too)

Sorry, I had no idea there were 2 Lenox forms. lol Are both from Macy's??

I wanted the flutes, but would love the picture frame too. These companies have some gorgeous stuff!

I want the Vera Wang Photo Frame with the place for the invitation/announcement, but it's $100!! I can't justify spending that on a picture frame no matter who designed it. lol

It's seriously barbie size. I don't even have RAMEKINS that small! :shocking:

It only holds 8 ounces, and that's if you fill it to the tippy top. I honestly don't know a single dish that makes something less than 8 ounces.

I've been trying to figure out what I can use it for too, maybe see if I can make a small cake to put on top of a round cake. Throw some sprinkles and curling ribbon around the both layers, a quick piped frosting border around both layers and voila.

Either that or I might use it in some type of craft project.

I have been engaged for two years, recently got married. So luckily, i was able to participate in this for two years- I registered right before my engagement party two years ago and i found out about these "free" gifts. Ralph Lauren gave a beautiful throw. I am going to look and see if there it is still out there so i can post the link. I had my choice of colors, and the price tag on there was 139.99$ that was my best gift off here, and the vera wang voitve holder.

anyway, i wanted to tell you ladies, it was hit or miss both years. Sometimes i received the items, sometimes i didnt! the ones i did were pretty worth my while.

says fine china but also ceramic so can you bake with it or just use it for serving?

The LeCruset can be used for salsa and covered with lid.

Wow, that is long. You said before that you only print and mail the part of the registry that have the items that are required for a particular offer, has that worked for you? I read all the posts everyday and you really seem to know what you are doing. I don't mean to ask twice, I just am really confused about this one part. My printer is acting really funny and I am trying to print as little as possible until I buy a new one (which will be a while). So, I would like to print as little as I can to meet the requirements. Thank you for all your help.

To save paper when printing your registry:

On the print screen, click "properties", then change the document options to "4 pages per sheet" and "landscape" orientation (it will be small but still legible). I also print front and back - this way you can print a 12-page registry on 2 pieces of paper.

Firstly, the oval dish is much nicer and bigger than the original one they were giving out and have listed.

Secondly, Ceramicplus Villeroy & Boch is their trademark, and just what exactly do you think Fine China is made from? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porcelain - that may help you out some.

Thirdly, why are we complaining about these items in the first place. I think it is more than nice of these companies to give out what they do for people who are getting married. Can you imagine the cost to the companies to do this? I am sure it is much less than retail, but it still comes from their profits. They simply do not have to give you anything at all. I am very happy with mine!

Yesterday I got the Victorinox travel kit from Macy's, but they sent duplicates! So that was a bonus, now I have 2. That's the second time that has happened, and I'm not complaining. Same thing happened with the Shun knives...not sure why as I only sent 1 from for each...but I heard about this happening on last year's registry thread, too.

I also got the Mikasa Frame...Gorgeous! And the heart shaped dish from Macy's.

Hi weezer,
I don't just print the part of the registry for that vendor, I send all 12 pages. lol I do however go to properties of my printer under finish and change to printing 2 pages on 1 sheet. That makes my 12 pages to 3 pages front and back. :)

I hope this helps.

Came home just a bit ago and found on my kitchen table a large box! My hubby opened it, but didn't see anything while I was gone. lol I took all the peanuts (foam) out of it and low and behold there was the Royal Doulton Votive! $43 Value from Macy's, but I used the BB&B registry for it :) Took 9 days to get after sending it off. It is BEAUTIFUL!!! :woot:

LLARDO
Michael Aram for Warterford

I didn't even have to get them to go to my registry. lol They took my paper I had with the list, and went to their black book and the guy was nice enough to print out 3 of them for me that they didn't have in the black book! LOL

Okay, totally off topic and I'll shut up now and head to the Food Lion forum.

You're very welcome Wendy!

Now like I said you should call that MGR of the Macy's near you because that lady LIED to you! She just didn't want to get on the computer to get you the forms! That's totally against Macy's associate rules!

I was actually contacted by the Managing Director of Retail Services for Macy's who was really concerned regarding my experience with Macy's.

He informed me that the new program is called Perks of Love and that they're currently in the process of reprinting for all their stores, so new booklets should be available soon. I don't think there are any new offers other than the ones we currently have forms for, though. It will at least have the current completion offers available for those that want them.

My guess is it would be platinum-coated - I highly doubt they would send us something that's solid platinum.

I think it said the retail value was like $40 or somewhere around there. :)

That's good, I'm glad someone contacted you about it. I hope that associate was reprimanded about her inappropriate behavior.

Do they send that booklet to all brides who start a new registry? I'm wondering because I didn't get one and my daughter just signed up, so I hope she gets one. lol

I did that 2 yrs ago and got 2 of them. Gave one to my daughter and kept one :)

Check the rebate sites to see if it's been sent (they are somewhere on this list) or you can get their # and call them or resubmit it with a note saying it's a resubmit and you never got the first one.

Hope that helps

Hubby forgot to tell me that the Victorianox leak proof pouch set came in yesterday.

Retail Value is $38 (has a sticker on it) you get 2 bags (2 different sizes) Perfect for keeping wet clothing from other clothes in your suitcase. Also for shampoos, etc. Those are 2 examples I read on the label.

Does anyone know if there's a Victorianox Swiss Army knife form?? I got one 2 yrs ago for hubby and he wants another one. He can't find it. lol He just asked me about it.

Monique Lhuillier for Royal Doulton Atelier crystal bud vase - sent 6/11

Wendy,
Did you receive this vase yet???? I'm wondering about mine that's why I'm asking. It took less than 10 days (sending form and receiving item) for the votive holder and I sent for the vase first and tomorrow makes a month that it was sent for.

Do you think I should resend it??

Thanks!

Okay so when there are multiple of the same offers being sent, like the measuring cups but for different stores, do you all only send away for one offer even if it's offered at multiple stores? I don't want to completely "abuse" these offers, KWIM?

For me personally it's need based. So definately not 2 sets of measuring cups. I have sent for and received the same offer twice but only after ensuring the date on the previous offer had expired. Like when a company offers the same item again only with new start and expiration dates. If your registry date falls in between both timelines then go for it.

I hope that makes sense. It's very late here and I'm sleepy. :sleepy:

No, I haven't gotten that one yet.

I would personally wait at least 8 weeks before submitting again (most of the forms say up to 6-8 weeks for delivery so I use that as a guideline).

I sent for the All-Clad measuring cups at the end of March and just got an email on June 1st saying the form had been received. Some of them seem to be a lot faster than others.

Patience, girl ;) LOL

1. Wow.

2. Nothing positive is achieved by berating someone seeking knowledge.

3. Because as consumers we have that right. We jump through hoops with the promise or expectation that the Le Crueset dish will be larger or the Villeroy and Boch dish will be nice and square. Disappointment should never be confused with being ungrateful.

She didn't sound like she was berating anyone. :dontknow:

And come on, complaining about a FREE item that costs a company much more to produce and ship directly to us than it took for us to spend 10 minutes filling out the form and the 44 cents we paid for the stamp, yeah, that DOES sound pretty ungrateful. :)

Some people's incredible sense of entitlement never ceases to amaze me. :shake:

Yeah I was just wondering if sending for the All-Clad 3 piece Measuring cups, for example, from BBB, Williams-Sonoma, Bloomingdale's, Bonton & Elder-Beerman would be a no no, since it's basically the same offer just from different companies. That way I can make a list from each company and if it's a repeat offer that I already sent off for, I won't send it in again, just because it's from a different registry, KWIM?

So is my logic and reasoning correct?

I know this is ALL Macy's has. I was able to look on their computer while they were printing out 3 of the forms. :D

We have EVERY form there is to have for Macy's (not the completion forms though). :(

They are all in JPG as I can't do PDF files. I tried and it cut half the form so don't know what I did wrong there.

Question:

Also, I received the Gien Coasters a few days ago, and they are BEAUTIFUL! I've received over $500 worth of items from Macy's and Williams Sonoma alone, and still waiting for many to arrive! :-D

REALLY long post

Here's a complete list of my experience so far (I did not register at JC Penney's, Elder Beerman or Bonton - also, I only sent one form per offer that was available at more than one store unless specifically noted - example: I only submitted the Cuisinart offer through Kohl's, not through all of them):

Bloomingdale's (forms state completed registry, but I received the Gien bottle coasters already YMMV)
Gien set of two Gien bottle coasters sent 5/18 received within 2 weeks
Victorinox Travel Gear Leakproof Pouch Set sent 5/18

On the form for the Gien Coasters it asks for a Store #, Pattern Selected, Value of Registration and says you need to meet with a registry consultant to help fill out the form. Did you two do that or did you just fill in as much info as you could and send it in like that? I don't live near a Bloomingdale's so any help would be appreciated :) Will rep for any advice!

I just filled in all the information I could and where it asked which store or online I put "online". I wasn't sure if that would be enough, but I guess it was.

Look on the first page of this thread - all the forms are at the bottom of the second (Wiki) post.

Received the Villeroy and Boch Oval Casserole dish yesterday and the LeCrueset Today. I see NOTHING wrong with either item. My husband and I both think they are very nice items.

We can use the LeCrueset for dips, shredded cheese, or even something small of left overs. I actually think the LeCrueset is cute!

Looks like we are getting 1 item per day. lol Took 15 days for LeCrueset and 13 days for Villeroy and Boch.

I am really hoping to get the Lenox flutes. I have my fingers crossed for those. lol

I sent out for the Calvin Klein bowl a while ago. I think last year the offer from them (the throw) took a long time to come too, maybe a few month or more.

I applied for the Calphalon knife on their website, and got a letter from them a little more than a month later saying I didn't have $500+ in my registry (Bloomingdales), and that I could re-submit my form if I wanted to. Turns out the items I added were no longer in stock on the site, and had to add new items...bleh. Then tried to fill out the form again online and it told me I had already submitted a request, so ended up having to contact customer service to have them re-submit the request for me...

I feel like the whole thing could have been avoided if I had just done the print form and mailed a copy of the registry instead of online. I just hope the new items I added last until they go to fulfill my request!

What you said was certainly not friendly and I would have appreciated some kind words and a simple yes or no to a simple question. The decent thing is to not thank another poster for agreeing with you and act like I'm not here but to post to me or PM me and explain you meant no ill will. When someone doesn't do that it generally means the first impression was correct.

When I went to my Macy's in May I was given the same pamphlet. I noticed on this one posted, it does not include the Royal Worcester/Spode/Vista Alegre registry gift of the Baking Days set of 2 ramekins. That offer is good until April 2010, according to the order form. So I'm wondering if my pamphlet is correct or if this one posted is correct and they have taken off and ended the offer? Does anyone know? I looked for a date on both and pamphlets and do not find one. I haven't received this offer yet and it was sent out the last week in May.

This one also doesn't list the Royal Doulton tea light, but I have actually already received that one, so I know it's valid. Maybe they're doing away with it after this season?

As far as I know, all the offers we have forms for are still good.

Did everybody use a highlighter to highlight the required items on their registry? Its in my hand right now but I don't know if it will make it look bad. I'm still on Kohl's, haven't even began my BB&B yet. Anybody? Please? It's in my hand........

I did it on some of the registry forms, but then I got tired of doing it. Some forms specify that they want you to highlight or circle their items, but most don't.

Thanks for answering my highlighting question. Now that things have slowed down for me I am going to do my best to buckle down this week and get moving on my registry's. I hope I don't start asking too many questions and/or repeating questions and I certainly do not want to get on anybody's nerves. I did read all the posts, I even made notes, but I know I missed things here and there. If anybody can please help me about the Teflon gift at Kohl's. Online there is only a set of skillets, it is a set of two, on Teflon order form it states "registry showing that any two of the eligible Teflon products...." Would one set work? If I register for two sets of the same size skillets I think it will look suspicious. Thanks.

I would contact them if I were you.

I would definitely contact them, they are very speedy with getting back to you. Also as far as getting a free knife...I sent for the Calphalon and the Analon (both 5" Santoku knifes) knives and have been waiting forever for the Calphalon but the Analon came within 3 weeks and it is an awesome knife (with a nice wooden case)! Good luck!

I don't think the Teflon gift is being offered anymore. It's not listed on the Kohl's website as an offer. The form doesn't actually have any dates that I can see. I sent mine out in May and haven't received anything and another poster said they sent their's out in January and still hasn't received it. I think it's dead.....I guess we'll see!..... If you still want to try, you can add the Faberware cookware set that is shown on the form. The description on this item on Kohls.com doesn't include that it is made with Teflon, but it is and it is also shown on the form as a Teflon product. You can add the set of skillets and this cookware set for your 2 items but adding 2 sets of skillets wouldn't look suspicious. Some people who cook alot do like to have 2 of the same size skillets, pans, ect. to use at the sime time.

This is the new one I received when I requested a new booklet with an updated list of offers.

This one also doesn't list the Royal Doulton tea light, but I have actually already received that one, so I know it's valid. Maybe they're doing away with it after this season?

As far as I know, all the offers we have forms for are still good.

The one I have doesn't have the Royal Doulton tea light either. I don't think we even have a Macy's form listed on here for that offer, I could be wrong. It's not on the front page atleast. I did the Royal Doulton tea light offer through BBB.

I was just wondering about which one could be correct because the one posted doesn't include the ramekins. When you look at the valid dates on all of the Macy's forms, they all start April 2009, including the ramekins. So it would be possible that the ramekins are new to the Macy's registry gifts this year and the pamphlet posted may be out dated (prior to April)?? Did they have this offer through Macy's last year? I can't see why they would remove the ramekins from the pamphlet when it started in April and it is now only June and the form says its valid through 2010. But if they did remove it, I am only assuming it is because they ended it early. I'm just wondering if I will be getting this one.

I circled everything on the registries, for all forms I sent in. I figured it was best to idiot-proof it as best as I could. :)

It really didn't take long at all, so I wouldn't see why not. :D

If they gave out their quota, then they ended the promotion. That's why there were 3 other's that pulled their offers. These companies put a limited amount of items together for registry gifts and when that's depleted, they pull the offer. Just like any other freebie.

This of course is just my opinion, but I don't see why it would work any other way. It's the luck of the draw and how fast you are to redeem the forms.

I am waiting on LOTS of gifts to come in still. Not even half way thru getting what I sent for. lol What I did receive, I do appreciate from the vendors and like.

I did BBB for the tea light holder and got it within 10 days. I have only received about 2 items from Macy's registry (they are slow). This is another week, so hopefully I'll see the FedEx and UPS drivers again this week :)

Ok I'm stupid! I didn't even see that on the form :( So no I didn't do that.

Guess I'll be rereading the PDF's and resubmitting what I didn't receive if it was because of that.

Good Luck!

I'm guessing you don't spend a lot of time actually helping other people much. Oh well, back on topic....

Also, am hoping that Calvin Klein pulls thru too. I have had a couple of friends in the last few years that had gotten married and also did the wedding registry, they said they never did recieve their item from them. So I am not gonna hold my breath on that one, but will be a nice surprise if it does come. Then I would also have bragging rights to my friends.........LMAO! j/j. It is a shame though, at least they could mail out a letter or something letting those who registered for their items know that they are out instead of making people wonder if it was lost or something.

Looking through my garage last night, trying to find some nice platters to bring to a bbq this weekend, i found BOX of all my "freebies" from last year- of course there is the stuff i use, but JEEZ did i get alot of stuff i have never used!
spyro platter (got 2)
waterford frame
vera wang votive holder - loved it and use it every day
RL Throw
3 cake servers-used one!
2 utensils" from another company

makes me feel guilty having got some of that and never used it- i feel bad that the spyro platters are still in their boxes. they are rather nice just not my style :)

I think last years freebies are proving to be better then this year, (the rl throw makes me feel that way of course!) but im really really hoping to get the two ramekins from this year and the travel kit :)

did anyone recently receive your chocolates ?! I was not sure of the amount of time for that one!

I've tried to research this too. The only thing I know about is Target. They offer a tote bag filled with baby goodies like samples and coupons. You pick it up in the store.

I sent this in and received the dinner bell and a bottle coaster. I registered for products to fullfill all 3 and have only received the 2 gifts.

Thanks that's exactly the info I was looking for. 2 is better than none though :D I can't wait to send off for the BBB gifts. I've only done Kohls and Williams Sonoma and Simon Pearce.

this just popped into my head while filling out some more forms.. do they have anything like this for baby registries? it would seem like they would but never seen anything about it. I know quite a few pregnant girlies right now and hoping to be one myself in the next year or so :)

Hmmm, I have been wondering this myself. I am due in January! Please pm me if you know anything like this for baby registries. Thanks1

I've recently searched for baby registry's for my sister-in-law and I never did find any. I've read that Target has a baby registry and if you physically go to Target you'll get a tote bag with samples. I haven't tried this so Please don't take my word for it. I've read that some people have gotten the tote bag and it wasn't offered for others. Also, it's not "gifts" like on this thread, it is samples. Better than nothing though. Maybe you can call your local Target and ask.

Good to know you received the Wedgewood/Vera Wang Votive. I was filling the form for that one just days ago and it says the offer ends April 2009. I got the form from the WIKI. Did you use the same one? I sent for it anyways.....fingers crossed.

That's the form I used. I think the exp dates on these forms are wrong.

:girly: the waiting game

I received the chocolates. I think it was about 2 or 3 weeks after registering with them. It's a HUGE box! When you open them, it's like a candy hunt. lol you open about 3 or 4 boxes to get to the prize!

Aww, feel better! I have anxiety too, so I know how much it sucks. It helps me to avoid caffeine and when an attack is coming on, exercise. Sounds crazy, but it gets my mind off of the anxiety and gets my heart pumping in a good way.

Thanks weezer. I had a problem with deep breathing. lol Hurt me more when I did that. That made them think I had a blood clot in my lung, but nope all is fine. It is really stress. I started to hurt today, got upsetting news, didn't need to hear and started to hurt again, so I started to breathe and tune out everything.

What you end up getting is a box of 4 Lake Champlain chocolates (very good), and two vouchers. The first is an Inn Voucher for one free night's stay at one of their bed & breakfast places (locations in Vermont and Pennsylvania), and a Restaurant Voucher for a complimentary lunch or dinner for two at one of their restaurants (one is in Quechee, VT and the other is in West Chester, PA).

All of the b&b's have minimum night stays to use the voucher except for maybe Woodstock Inn, which I am currently looking into right now.

OMG!! That's so WRONG!

For 1 you LOST money on the bottle coaster! It valued at $69!!

I don't think it's right to put these on eBay!

LOL! Yep. She lost money on both, actually! I think it's really greedy for people to take these things just to sell them. I am so thrilled with all the nice things I've gotten, I will keep them as long as possible! I probably would never buy household items like this for myself, couldn't afford them. So I really appreciate them.

BTW, I looked up the Calphalon skillet and that thing is selling for $100 right now on Williams Sonoma and Macy's websites! So I think you all will really enjoy these when you receive them, and they got great reviews, too! :look:
