Got 2 fits each at 3 diff gs. The last one was down to 3 after we got ours.

Every single store I stopped by in Ann Arbor, Michigan had stacks and stacks of Wii consoles that were not selling. There was absolutely no "mad rush" to grab Wiis.

As to Wii Fits, I think the only store that had them was gamestop. I picked up one at 7am, drove across town 15 minutes to another GS, got another. Drove to a third gamestop, got another. The EB in the mall also had plenty of Fits in stock...I decided not to bite because I was worried how easy they were to grab. Black Friday traffic / hype was MUCH lower than in previous years.

Maybe it depends on the seller. Having 2000+ feedback at 100% positive probably helps my items to sell for more (non-featured) than your featured items

Hopefully Fits will last through the first few months of next year, at least. New Year's Resolutions could encourage more people to go out looking for these.

Unless the CL poster is desperate to get rid of stock and are selling near retail, don't buy the Fits or console. Just follow the boards on where to grab some when they come in stock. Also, register at wiialerts.com to get cell phone alerts when wiis/fits come in stock online. Since you are on slickdeals I assume you have a credit card with some sort of cashback/points deal. Always nice to get some cashback or gas cards. I here chase freedom is a nice card. I don't sell consoles, just Fits. I usually call blockbusters on wednesdays around 2pm. They tend to get stock every other week and I have no problem spending a full day driving around to most blockbusters in Cincinnati using iphone and GPS to get around. They let you buy multiples and can usually get around 25-30. Some blockbusters get stock on Tuesdays so check your area. The good thing about blockbuster is that most peopple don't think to look there. There will be other resellers in your area who know this, so you need to be quick. Gamestops usually tend to get shipment on tuesdays or wednesdays but tend to limit you to one at a time. I always ask anyway and was finally rewarded with my first multiple buy at a gamestop. A couple people on here have gamestops that sell them multiples but it's rare. I don't really waste my time at bestbuy or Targets. The inventory tracker is down so it's hit or miss unless it is in the ads. Get you significant other or family members involved. When going to a bestbuy or target it's always nice to be able to get 2 or 3 instead of 1 plus it is a way to spend some quality time while you are "working". I started reselling when the Fits were released so I am still kinda new. I am lucky as I have a third party that I sell my Fits to, who in return sells them himself on his site. I don't have to worry about shipping/angry customers, Put an ad on Craigslist to sell in bulk. It will probably get flagged, but I have had some success in the past. Also, look for other items to resell here on the boards. When Acer One's dropped in price I had a field day. They were out of stock in most of the country, but the Microcenter around me had tons. Id walk in and but ten at a time and ended up making anywhere from 35-50 on each one. Don't be one dimensional. Here's my situation: I sold the last of my Wiis on ebay at the end of last week (user ID faelon27), but the buyer sent me a barely-coherent message backing out of the deal. I'm leaving for vacation this Sunday for a week, and want to get rid of the Wii before that. Anyone here want the system? Their eBay feedback is perfect, they are currently receiving 40% discounts on final value eBay fees, and most likely have shipping discounts with UPS/Fedex/Box suppliers.


As they say in biz school, the barriers to entry have increased significantly in the last year due to eBay policy changes. Anyone looking for easy profits will be sorely dissapointed.

I just picked up two Wii Fits at the Game Crazy in Willingboro, NJ. I brought one for my niece and nephew and one for someone on slickdeals for all the help over the years. I'm willing to sell it for $90 plus 7% NJ sales plus and whatever shipping cost I incur. First person to PM me can have it.

I've used FedEx for awhile and am very happy...Fit is usually no more than $13 and Cosole about $11

Wow I am glad I just joined. I never sold on ebay because of the high fee's. I just sold my first Fit on ebay for $142.50. Not bad for only using ebay once in over a year and not paying to feature it.

Well that was fast. I just called my Gamestop and they have Wiis and a guy already sent me an offer on craigslist. It took like 2 hours.

Man if my town keeps getting shipments, this could be really cool. Sure I won't make $10,000 a month or anything but a couple hundred bucks a month would be awesome.

The MO is very simple, right? Send you a bad cashiers check or some such for way over the price of the item, make you send them a good payment for the remaining, then the original cashiers' check bounces.

On CL, the rule is "always deal in person. If an absentee transaction is attempted, it's a scam. Simple."

I loaded 80 wii bundle and 150 wii fit 30 day fixed price listings on eBay in the morning. In the evening they were SOLD OUT. Guys and gals, be careful with your listings... as I am learning a painful lesson. I'll probably be up 36 hrs straight packing these things... I love and hate this time of year.

Is anyone know if selling the little widgets on ebay still work to increase feedback and best match? I am close to 70 feedback and want to gain powerseller status so i was thinking of listing 30 auctions at 1 cent for folks to buy? Stupid any thoughts?
