I'm thinking of finally picking up this game, but I have a quick question concerning the multiplayer features in the game. From what I've read, I know joining up with other people is a huge part of the game, but is this only possible through online features or can several people plan on the same consul? I am unable to connect to the internet atm where I live, so being able to still play with friends would be a big plus to the game.

There is local multiplayer in addition to online multiplayer.

yeah you can do local multiplayer offline or online.

Yes, up to 4 I think at the same time on the same console.

No can do. The only way to download the user created content is thru the PSN via the in-game menu.

And you don't "download it", you access it. It doesn't stay on your hard drive after you're done playing.

Hmm not what I wanted to hear, but thank you for the information. Luckily I only have a few more months with this crap internet connection blocking what I can access.

yeah you can, you can even play with your friend at your house along with 2 other people online too. the only problem with online gameplay is that some people will have laggy games.
