I actually emailed them on the 21st for the coffee compensation because I thought i wasn't getting it yet. But it came for me on that day. They emailed me back on the 21st and this is what they said:

"As stated in the instructions for the study, you will be paid within 10 business days after the end of the study. The study completed last Friday."

so I assume by Friday everyone should be getting it, if not, the following Monday seeing tomorrow is a holiday.

My husband signed up for the same survey and at oh, seven or so yesterday it had already 'closed out' I guess. There was no where for him to access the survey and it said awaiting action from researcher.

Also, I was looking at his surveys and he did one back in early March that paid $3 via paypal but he never got it. I didn't know until last night so I guess it's way too late to complain.

My husband did that one, he got paid for it. He sent it into my paypal account ( I have his email attached to my account, easier that way, as he doesn't want to hassle with his own Ebay account)

Does your husband have PP? If not, it might be waiting for him to create one, also don't they require that they use the same email as you signed up with Stanford with?

I don't know, they hold it a while. I would try it and see. You can always attach his email to your account, like I did for my DH. Just go to the "attach email" part of your account, and then he/you will have to go into his account and validate that you have access to it and actually did it.

I have a different email that I use for PP ..and Stanford has always paid me even though it isn't the same one I use for them.

Can he try contacting the researcher to see what's up, if he'll get counted against for that one?

So late in getting to stuff again but ....no they do not ban for not taking a survey...your account will eventually say "Failure to appear" or something like that...no biggie ....these folks know that these fill quickly so this is normal. The only time they look at kicking anyone out is when they think someone is taking studies multiple times or not being truthful about age and stuff...
Even then if someone is on the up and up just write to the study in question and explain...I have done this site for years and protect it very much..even if they tell me to do a study I usually look at my account to make sure it is not a repeat. With all that I have still had a couple of detailed discussions as to a mistake in my account where I was flagged incorrectly. Heck it happens..don't be so scared folks...they know who we are and I have gotten very positive feedback about SD. These are great folks and they treasure us as much as we do them !! I really do like the new system that they put in place these last one or two years ( I forget). This is a great relationship between us

Oh yeah...On my studies my paypal account is a different email addy than my normal email that I have with them...I have always been paid. I've only had a couple of studies that were paid thru paypal but there was never a problem

Got email from the work-related attitude study
some problems in the payment system..

To my participants,

Thank you so much for completing the study called
'Work-related Attitudes 4' using Sona systems for the
Stanford Graduate School of Business. These data will be
very valuable for me and my faculty advisor.

Some of you completed the survey and entered an email
address on the last page that is not listed on the signups
page on Sona for this study. You will be receiving an email
shortly asking for your Sona ID so that I can credit you on
the Sona system. You will not be paid until I have resolved
this problem. In addition, some of you have suspicious
activity on you accounts and will also be emailed to fix the
problems before you are paid.

For those of you without account problems, I just ordered
your Amazon.com gift certificates and you should get them
soon. However, Amazon.com is sometimes slow sending out the
certificates, and I apologize if any delay occurs. If any
of you have not received your gift certificates within 24
hours of receiving this email, please let me know and I will
contact Amazon to find out what the problem is. You might
also want to check your SPAM email folder because Amazon.com
emails are often labeled as SPAM by email clients.

Again, thanks for participating!

wow, i really think you that all wrong. I have always thought the part at the end was to see what kind of frame of mind the survey put you in, and what certain parts of it meant to you. NOT we're smarter than you, bet you can't guess. I think its a psych thing for marketing reasons, like does the color red make you angry or happy? type stuff.

i would love to know the same, so many lately are chance to win gc.

They email the winners, and sometimes email everyone saying that the winners have been paid. I've won before, so its legit. They wont publish a list of winners though. They respect privacy.

Except for when they email everyone's email addresses to us every other month.

I gave you a rep, but it is a no-no to ask for them.

Also, who else is having a hard time with the pages in the business study loading really slowly? I can't be the only person dealing with dial up.

wow, i really think you that all wrong. I have always thought the part at the end was to see what kind of frame of mind the survey put you in, and what certain parts of it meant to you. NOT we're smarter than you, bet you can't guess. I think its a psych thing for marketing reasons, like does the color red make you angry or happy? type stuff.

Actually I think they do it to see if their questioning was obvious. If it's obvious what they're doing a study about you might start fudging your answers to what you think they want to hear. They want to find out your honest opinions in a roundabout way. It is a psychological thing though. They don't want you to know what answers they're after because they don't want to bias you for their study.

I made the mistake of thinking I could go back and start over, which I did, but I got an email from them asking why I did the survey twice. If you can just minimize the screen, I think you should just do that. :)

I guess I will miss out on it, because minimizing the survey would confuse my husband.

He once asked me how to get to google. he's not really tech savvy, and he'd probably forget and close it anyway after a few minutes, lol :(
