That Kiehl's cleanser sounds so nice with all the essential oils in it. I wish my UPS deliveries came early. I'm at the end of the route so they always come here like 5 oclock.

Mine was delivered damaged. The Kiehls vital sun protection opened and was all over. The boxes for the makeup were all disintegrated :eek:. That being said the rest of the package was in need of clean-up but still lovely!!

Since you have the tracking info, call UPS and see what their plans are. Sometimes they just have to take it back to the station to document the damage and will deliver the next day. When you call, ask for a supervisor and ask the Supervisor to have the local station call you. If they don't call you within an hour, call again and make the same request. They can kind of get away with not returning the first call, but a second call takes the matter to a new level and they HAVE to call you.

Your best bet would be to contact Beth at Loreal. I had a similiar thing happen back in the summertime when I ordered my Allure beauty box. It ended up being damaged in transit and since UPS could not deliver it, they sent it back to Allure and I had emailed them and they sent out a replacement.

Most likely the package must be majorly damaged or else it would not have been flagged to go back to Loreal.

Let us know how you make out.

I bet they just repackaged it & I personally wouldn't be too worried about it being tampered with. Mine came in a big brown envelope with no padding so I can see easily how they'd get messed up if the package got tossed around or stepped on. I was surprised it didn't come in a box.

Come to think of it, when my package arrived, there was a slight tear in the outer mailer envelope.

I was so relieved that the contents inside the mailer appeared fine and nothing leaked or was missing.

Yes, they do have on-site product test but most of the SDers mentioned here are PT that L'Oreal mailed to home. The compensation is usually some beauty/skin-care product. I remember a SDer mentioned here some time before about on-site PT. She got some good products as compensation after the test.

The ones I've been getting emails about require me to go to the facility. I don't have a problem going but I used to go to another different place that would take maybe 45 min to get there & sometimes paid $10 aka cost me more in gas than I was paid.

Did they mention about the compensation? I remember reading a SDer here saying that she got very generous gifts after taking on-site surveys or testings. You can check back some of the previous posts and see if you can find it. I'm too lazy to look for it. Sorry.:P

think it's an annual address check in case you qual for a pt... I did do a masacara 10 week test w/ 10 mascaras and they sent a very generous gift bag . When someone on here totaled it up was worth over $300 worth of products. Hoping I get another invite.

I think they want 12 year olds. No sun damage, no aging aspects, no acne. because of course the best way to test a product is on the type of skin that has no need for product.

Geesh, I am almost embarassed that I did pre-qualify for this one as it had been awhile. LOL! It just so happens that I use a certain brand and product that was in the pre-screener which I think was the reason I may have pre-qualified.

The funny thing is, I have no idea what I am using right right now. I still have mystery product from the study I did late last year. It's awesome and I will cry when it runs out but in the meantime, it makes it kind of difficult to fill out qualifiers.

I know exactly what you mean and that is why I usually DQ from their studies lately but this one happened to be pure luck that I did pre-qualify but until I get the final survey from them, I am not confirmed to participate.

I received a sample bottle from Sephora of the new Hello Kitty scent and I agree I was a bit dissapointed as I had a totally different impression of the fragrance. I thought it would have smelled similiar to Clinique Happy which would have been nice.:nod:

You seen to do really good with this panel. I not sure why or what I'm doing wrong, but I've only ever gotten 1 info survey and a few pre-Q that I've DQ'ed on. I'm 52 with wrinkles and use anit-aging stuff but just never a good fit. Are some of your husbands signed up, seperate account or under your account? I saw a few posts about husbands getting something. Just wondering.

No, my husband isn't signed up. There is nothing that he would be interested in using! I guess these are like other pt's and it's demographics maybe. I do admit to using lots and lots of skincare and beauty products so maybe that helps??

I signed up my hubby with his own account and he has received way more stuff than I have! He actually was excited to get stuff from them, except when they sent a anti wrinkle cream for men. He thought that was a lil funny! Since he said what guy cares about that. I'm sure some do though. :)

I don't know what brand the test product will be. I meant that facial skincare products are my favorite thing to test, especially moisturizer. ;)
