I too pick one of the few brands I use and dq'd too. I guess we need to write the brands down when we do the survey.

For those that got in on the skin care study,address verification email came today.

As someone who qualified I don't think it was just the specific brand that got us in. I think you have to use a specific product, ingredient, and brand.

I am right there with you. I have been a member of their testing panel for several years and have NEVER qualified :confused:

I got news for you, I did not choose L'Oreal and still got the boot also.

I know exactly what you mean--I use Loreal and others-but it's like you get booted for picking their products. Whatever!lol

I did make it through the pre-qual,but from past experience that doesnt always mean I will get into the study.

I'm stoked there is a thread about the Loreal home studies. I'm pretty new at slickdeals so i'm just discovering all the useful threads. I got DQ'ed what seemed like a dozen or so times I finally got approved for the S11-343 FACIAL MASK. I completed my usage questionnaire on the 19th. Cannot wait to get my compensation gift and hope to qualify for more in the future.

I also got in on the SELF 2012 Healthy Beauty Awards test/study etc. I'm in the face category...I think there is a thread about this one also. So much info so little time. So happy to be a slickdeals member!!

I just got the mascara PT today - Includes 3 mascaras for 3 week test starting Feb 2nd- Does not mention returning product when done (nor does it include return envelope), so looks like we can keep product when we're done :)

I didn't qualify and I wear mascara every day. grrr.

It's the survey that MAY lead to the actual product test. With loreal sometimesvafter they go through those that got all the way through they'll have a qualifier. If you make it through that then you'll get the product test.

I had 3. One information, the nail polish, and a foundation one.

Thanks, I found that earlier in my e-mail folder. They also said they send an address verification e-mail before they ship anything out. I'm just happy that after a year I actually qualified.

Got through the Pre-Qual makeup one but with the moisturizer PT you can't be in any other study while using the product....guess we'll see :)

Hello everyone, I finally qualified for a study that wasn't cancelled or that I wasn't disqualified. I'm testing the body moisturizer. I completed the 3 pre-qualifiers and let's see how that goes. But I'm glad that I'm in a study, the first since they moved to New Jersey.

I just completed my first PT - 3 week mascara. My final survey email said that I get to keep the products, too bad I only liked 1 of the three, but I am looking forward to getting my first compensation gift :)

Sometimes they may require you to return the product(s) you test at which time when you receive the product in the mail they include a pre-paid mailer so you do not have to worry about paying the shipping.:)

They emailed me back to copy link. I had tried that but I guess I copied shortcut which didn't work. When I just copied, it worked. got it completed. Looking forward to gift.

My 3 digit product number from green label is the same as my ballot number in the email. Does yours match? Once I got the survey up I had no problems with it. Are you click the green next button at top of page? (I'm sure you are, but just checking)

Congrats to you! I was pleasantly surprised that they included two other products besides the face serum. I recall a couple of years ago doing another test for them which was another face serum and that was all they sent at the time the one product.

I wish they gave the option to discuss the moisturizer..I like it but the fragrance is unnecessary. fragrance in facial products is foolish and a potential irritant.

The scent of the moisturizer in the test that I am doing is indicative of the brand, if you are already familiar with that brand :P
