We want to thank you for participating in our Consumer Participation Program. Your opinion DOES count. Knowing what our consumers are thinking is an invaluable asset to us.

We’ve noticed that there has been some confusion with our compensation policy for Informational surveys. Below is L’Oreal USA Consumer Participation Program policy regarding Informational Surveys and a description of different surveys that you can participate in.

1. Initial enrollment Mapping Surveys: These surveys are sent out to obtain your product usage information (skin/hair/makeup and contact information).
2. Pre-qualification Surveys: These surveys are used to obtain information to pre-qualify for a future study
3. Study Screener/Survey: This type of survey is used to qualify you for an existing study where product will be sent to your home to evaluate and you will then be asked answer a final questionnaire after product usage.
4. Informational Surveys: These surveys are sent to obtain information regarding your product usage, cosmetic/hair/skin habits, product likes/dislikes etc.. (These surveys are the only surveys that are tracked towards product compensation.) You must complete 5 Informational Surveys to receive a gift.

We hope that this will help to clarify that only Informational Surveys will count towards any product compensation.

I received the email today, but kept getting an error when I tried to log in. I emailed them about the problem. I never received a response, but they must have fixed it b/c I was able to log in later on. I dont think I will qualify though because it seemed to end abruptly for me.

There are two numbers which you will need to use to participate in our studies pending qualification by web study recruitment. Thanks. Not long after I signed up I received my welcome letter with username/password. When I logged in I had three surveys to complete.

I have several from them this week but can't seem to get the pt for the moisturizer. It has been sent to be 3 times and I keep getting dc from it. Darn! They keep resending it and I keep getting the boot.

I got the same thing and when I logged in there were like 4 skin surveys which all seemed to be the same, I dq'd on the first and qualified on the second one, and dq'd on the the last two. All four surveys were exactly the same, but I printed out the page they said to, so I'll wait and see too.

it finally worked, after they sent it to me several time. a PT!!! It worked for both surveys. Guess it pays to be 41 finally, LOL

That's exactly what happened on my first survey and it surprised me too but then I got in on the 2nd one....I think.

Today, I got an email with this. "Just a reminder, you have signed up to participate in HOME studies. You are currently eligible for upcoming studies, simply log on to L'Oreal USA's new automated recruitment system (ARCS) to view your study participation eligibility. It could have been for something you don't use or wouldn't want to use anyway. At least that's the way I look at it when I DQ. No way am I going to color my hair for them, so that will automatically DQ me on a number of surveys probably. I only just got my first product test to start Friday, so hang in there!

I just started a 4 week product test this past Friday that is to be paid with 2 "luxury" products. I have no idea what they will be so this should be interesting.

Every time I login, it lists that mascara survey as unfinished. I have answered all the questions until it ends and says "we'll let you know..." so I don't know why it is still there. Glad to hear some are actually qualifying for stuff!

Hmmm, I received an email from L'Oreal saying that they are having technical issues with the link for the survey and would resend it to me again this afternoon. So even though I had no problems at all, apparently others did and that's probably why they stopped sending out the surveys maybe.

It's funny they sent me the email about the technical issues when I had no trouble. Maybe they're just letting me know that even though I completed the survey, it's not right on their end or something. Anyway, I guess we'll all find out later (I hope!).

I'm still working on last week's survey......I'm really frustrated cuz it keeps doing that thing to me where it says to enter the information, after I already did. I've emailed them twice .......on this one. They finally fixed the first week's survey so I could answer it, now this one is doing the same thing...uuuuuugh!!~ Is nobody else having these problems ??

I had that problem; it means your answer is too long. Try a shorter answer. Also, try hitting Enter/Return after each line; that might also work.

Every survey you take is supposed to count, EXCEPT when you're doing a special project. I'd sure email them if you've done 5 or more surveys, to ask when your reward is coming; I got the 2 rewards I earned promptly that way.

Can you count how many you have done so far.I think if you have completed 5 or more surveys you should get the reward irrespective of whether you got a PT or not.

You do!! I've been getting rewards for each batch of 5 surveys, with no PT's involved (sadly)... but I email them each time I complete 5, just to be sure.
