I prefer CutePDF. Small and freeware.

because only converts files to PDF.
PDF converter does the opposite, converts PDFs to word doc. files, html, etc.
It could be very useful.
Thanks op!

I know cutepdf is a freeware that can convert rtf files to pdf - it works great.

Is there a pdf converter or something similar that can apply security to a pdf file ?
ie, if I have a pdf file and want to make it read-only....so that one cannot copy the contents. ? is there a free ware to do this ?

I know one paid software called...x-change pro...

any freewares ?

I use this site for creating secured PDFs:

http://premium.pdfonline.com/BCLONLINE/

Just sign up for a free beta account. They limit the amount of PDFs to 5 or something, but it should be enough for a regular user. I hope. :P
