I think a search in the thread itself may prove to be useful in threads that contain many posts...

In search I mean search for certain member's posts...

you can actually see all of the post that have been made by a member by clicking the "search" button next to the PM and BUDDY icons under their post.

yes but that doesn't let you display by thread... I think it'd be useful myself, to be able to search a thread for all of a users posts.

The post above was posted without reading this quote... either way I wasn't blubbering.. I just suggested it now so I wasn't expecting it to be put into effect immediately.. I was just curious what the possibilites of us having it were...

Uh don't you see at the top of the thread "search this thread".

Yes, I see that, but even when you search a user name, it still comes up with other posts than just the one by that user.... I was suggesting a search strictly for user posts within a certain thread.
