Ok - I know what you are all thinking - you've tried PDF to Word conversion before and it's a joke!!! Your images, tables, formatting ...etc aren't transfered - or even if they are - it's No Where close to your original Acrobat file. Believe me - I've been there too and tried several different programs - and was completely disappointed ever time.
BUT This Program (actually Website) is Different:
http://www.pdftoword.com/
This is a new conversion Website from the people that wrote the Nitro PDF program (one I use which works fairly well). Note - although Nitro PDF 5.0 does have a PDF to Word conversion - it's not very impressive. But the conversion on this FREE website does a fantastic job. I believe they also plan to port the conversion routines into the next Nitro PDF 6.0 release.
Use is simple - do to the website and there are a couple "boxes" to enter your data in.
1. Select the PDF file on your system that you want converted
2. Select to convert to Word (.DOC) or .RTF
3. Enter the e-mail where they can send your "converted" file.
After that - it takes a few seconds to load the file and then (depending on system load) maybe a few minutes to get your converted file (although I have seen this take a couple hours when this site first opened to everyone).
Thats It - no other signups or anything. You WILL BE impressed by the conversion. I sent it a 12 page PDF filled with tables, embedded graphics, charts and it did a Great job. Sure - you may still have some cleanup - but I found the results strikingly good!
Remember - it's free - so what do you have to lose?
