I got blender magazine sub for Free and I am glad its over.
Biggest waste of Trees I have yet to come across.
The music selection, albeit free was also pretty lame, maybe one good free song a month.
And yes I am threadcrapping but at least I have the balls to come out with it rather than saying "not threadcrapping but...."

I've gotten free subs to Blender multiple times and I never read them. They went to the trash usually w/o being looked at. In fact, I didn't even know it came with free music.

Been getting Blender now for a few years free, there is nothing wrong with it, has some good interviews, and new music reviews. Its a good bathroom read :) and thanks for the links for the most recent tunes.

WHAT AN IDIOT!!! Way to man up!!! You think that because you are admitting threadcrapping, that this is any more okay??? You my friend, are worst than someone who believes that they are not threadcrapping! Because you know you are! and you think that makes you a man? Ugh! You should be stoned since you believe you have stones! But I digress and will take the high road from here.
Firstly, I also have a free subscription and enjoy it as well as the free music and recommendations. But I know that it is not for everyone! especially if you are not into this type of music. But I would never put down or "threadcrap" on a Freebie of all places!
I mean you said yourself that you get maybe one good free song a month! but that is obviously not enough? Fine!.....THEN MOVE ON!!! If the deal doesn't do it for you why waste your time and ours! I could have maybe excepted your post if you had somewhat give even one reason why? let only one that was good! Music Selection? What no Country? or Big Band? did you even read what the magazine was about or just signed up cause it was free?
THEN You talk about it being the biggest waste of trees? Yet YOU could have "Cancel" it and helped the enviroment as well as "altonb1" too, who signed up and just threw it away.
If you don't like something fine! just move on! especially if you are not added anything of value or benefit to the post and don't even supporting your comments. Why waste your time? or our efforts on worthless drimble that is of no benefit to anyone other than for you to see your printed comment no matter how hyprocritical it might be!
Good Day Sir!

Well I don't appreciate being called an idiot, but that is fine.
As for the reason of not likeing Blender, the articles are dull. There is too much advertsing, and not enough "scoop".
And if people didn't put negative feedback in threads, then you would never get any real feedback at all, just lots of people saying how great it is.
as for "....will take the high road from here...." Well you did a great job
wish i could neg rep :(

"...at least I have the balls" is one the lamest lines ever by the way. This is the - GASP - Internet. You have no balls here and if you think you do, well, maybe it's time to re-evaluate your life and priorities.

And you are a prime example of one of those people that likes to say anything they want on"the internet" because you can hide behind your keyboard.
Jeesh, I think everyone took my comment a bit too close to heart.
As for your re-evaluate your life and priorities comment ??? Well yes I am going to re-evaluate my life now, because your advice seems quite professional.

Opto - I didn't say anything about negative feedback. In fact I agree totally with you about it being a necessary element. But it needs to have Substance! Too many post comments like “ This Sucks!” Or “Hated It!” Of what benefit is this? It is not Negative Feedback. Simple opinions are worthless unless back up with Substance and facts. And Not I hate Chevy’s because my uncle’s father-in-law told me a story about his car having three transmissions in one year! Facts like this broke in two weeks for me or the cord is to long or for our example this magazine was too hard to read for me and only has reviews of albums of left handed ukulele players. Understand that opinions are so varying especially when it comes to music and the arts. What one likes and enjoys might totally discuss another. Now your comments give a little more reason for your opinion here and your not trying to promote yourself as some sort of thread crapping hero. Nice adjustment!

Good point, and points well noted. I was just in a strange mood that day.....
