I'm not saying the mods delete slow but here's what I'm thinking.

When a thread gets 4 thumbs down (I think its 10 votes?) It could automatically be removed. They just turn into bitch contest and people just inflate there post count. A good idea?

Same way, maybe a 5 thumb up deal could become a sticky? They don't last long so they would cycle through fine I think.

We answer the mod alerts as soon as one of us is available. Sometimes there are 5 of us on and sometimes we have to eat and sleep. :lmao:

It's pretty easy for the visitor to avoid reading threads w/ 4 thumbs down.

I sometimes scan them anyway, just to see what people think constitutes a bad deal.

The thing is with your 4 thumbs down thing.... Lately there has been decent delas and for some strange reason people are giving them thumbs down and not stating a reason. Its probably because its noting they cant use, or its something expensive (they cant afford it but still a great price for others). I can see where this feature would be good (when people are advertising) buut what i stated before would be a big loophole.

Another thing.... Its kind of far fetched but hey it can happened....
Suppose a deal is so hot (maybe a price error) and some people are quick to give it a thumbs down just because they know it would be deleted fast, and they might get the deal since only a few people would see the post.

Well thats just my thoughts on it. Very good idea though, just has to be regulated better than the 4 thumbs down...

Then wouldn't 10 new people have to thumbs down the post it to be un-stickied. And wouldn't that mean that it would then get deleted?

i dont think it's such a good idea, no offense. But I've seen excellent deals that people thumbs downed for no reason.

yeah, let the mods do their job and mod alert inappropriate posts. Just because it's a bad deal, or not a good deal doesn't automatically make it a deletable thread.

i agree with royal, sometimes people thumbs down for no reason. just because a deal doesn't work for someone, doesn't mean another cannot benefit from it. mods do answer pretty quick too.

yeah yeah I know I wasnt saying the mods arent doing anything but there jobs 100% well. I was just saying that for a thread to get 5 thumbs down it has to be pretty bad and getting it deleted, it would help. :sadwalk:

exactly. a thumbs up indication is a great indicator, but a thumbs down is not.
