Hey all!!! Sorry I haven't been around. Life has been busy with the 2 little ones. I didn't go for the gift exchange thing. I cant afford to get the boys anything I don't think it would be fair to my children if I gave someone I do not know something over them. I know the true holiday spirit is to give than receive but sometimes you just cant give. I think Bzz should have given this a few extra weeks. It looks like everyone is pairing up well. Hope you all get something really cool and no one gets stiffed.

I haven't heard from my partner yet. I emailed yesterday afternoon. Those of you who didn't sign up because your worry you won't get anything *good*... well... you're just missing out on the fun. As others have said, the fun of giving is what you focus on. I always have more fun doing my shopping at the holidays, thinking about what I am going to get everyone, figuring out the *perfect* gifts, and then watching everyone open them. The only thing that is going to disappoint me in this swap is not hearing from my partner and not being able to send a gift!

tls

I love doing the secret santa stuff and I love surprising everyone too! But I did this on 4 holidays last year and a few early this year and for the most part it went ok.On 1 ocassion I didn't get anything.on another I got the package about 2 weeks late and on another I got a bunch of used junk freebies. Now I love freebies but used freebies? I don't think so.So as I said before I'm doing secret santa this year but it's at a local level, this way I'm not sending out any of my info to a stranger.I still have a great time with it and will not miss out on the fun.

yeah true, but i dont know. wonder if maybe doing a deck of cards, and a razor, and some men samples i got. i have no clue though. he mentioned his budget with exams or something. maybe like a gift card to starbucks or someplace?? what would you think some ideas could be for a colage student 21 and sounds very muture??

I teach college students, and I know many of them would love food stuffs, like unhealthy snacks, and gift cards . . . especially to somewhere they can buy text books (like amazon). You could be completely unimaginative and email a $10 amazon gift card and skip the shipping fees.

This is my first swap outside of work or family and I'm really excited. I could use some ideas...I want to make this really wonderful for my "buddy".
I use the $ limits set as my OOP cost (not including shipping...) GWP are my friends... :wink5: I think it's a fun challenge to add up the OOP for the total "loot" to see how much super cool stuff I can get my partner... (see the Unofficial thread for a picture...My buddy guessed it was me... )

Any of you that had this campaign... Is the logitech remote worthwhile? Does it work with the Comcast Cable boxes?
at that price it might be a good gift for DH but would like some recommendations before I got it.
Thanks

It's a BEAUTIFUL piece of equipment. We have a TimeWarner box that it works perfectly with. DH even uploaded some movie posters as a screen saver. It even does 30 second skip with the DVR even though we were told that the DVR didn't have it. I found that out accidentally and I literally squealed and jumped when I discovered it!

For any of you peeps with the Fruits and Passion campaign:

I plan on giving my sister two of the $10 coupons, since no one else really wants to drive all the way to Natick to get it. If she splits her purchase into two seperate transactions, can she use both coupons? Or is it strictly one per person? I forgot to ask when I was there last week.

Usually they can only be used once per visit. So I admit, I cheated and had hubby buy one thing and I got another. I was very unimpressed with the store and thought it was WAY too expensive. But, I'm not into scented stuff, so am not a good judge. I will say, there were a fair amount of people there (it is a TINY store) when I was there and everyone looked like they were having trouble finding what they might like. Some stuff wasn't really marked well. I gave my coupons away but I don't think anyone ever used them. I did like the free sample of hand soap I got.

We got the remote. Hubby hates the remote and I am close behind. I only set it for the tv and cable box, but it NEVER (o.k. 1 out of 10 times) turns on both at the same time. I've never found a universal remote that works and this is no exception. Save your money.

agree...ours is the same way. We have a Comcast HD box, and a new LG HD tv...they never turn on at the same time on a consistent basis, not even with the Comcast remote. Comcast is just shit.

I sent a po to me partner b/c that it is what I usually use. UPS does end up delivering there most of the time. I would definately not be bothered though if my partner asked for a street addy. I wouldn't worry about asking her, just tell her why :)

Keep us posted on what the hive says.
:hugs:Still waiting on an email from Bzz, I'll post it when I hear something back. I see several people haven't heard anything from their partners yet. I wonder what the ratio of that is compared to how well this IS going for others? I bet Bzz, won't be doing this again if enough people complain.....or.....they can do it differently next year so BzzAgents don't get burned. :shake: (hope that made sense )

So I googled the bzzagent name is was given, and he appears to be a 39 year old guy who likes to post on music sites. I am a 32 year old mother of 5. Not such a good match. Do you think that's why he hasn't replied? He also seems to have profiles on s lot of places, but none of them have any info or pictures. Now I am wondering if I should be worried that he has my name, address, email, and bzzagent name. Maybe I am just paranoid?

Hey Agents,

I just wanted to clear up some concerns it seems you guys might be having!

We only partnered you with an agent of the same gender. So if you are female, you were partnered with a female - if you are male, you were partnered with a male.

Also, remember that there are millions of people out there that have the same screen names for different accounts so "googling" someone may not turn up accurate results for you. For example, if you use your initials for your username, someone may have the same initials, therefore you see the same username over and over again and they may be all for different people. Please don't rely on "googling" your partner's username to find out more information about them.

Also, if your partner doesn't respond to your email, unfortunately, there is nothing we can do in this situation. We do hope that you will all Bee able to get in contact your partners and will be able to participate in the Holiday Swap!

Happy Holidays!

I heard back from BzzAgent:
They must be getting a lot of emails about partners not responding.
My email wasn't about my partner not responding, but the fact my partner said she/he didn't want to participate, so I requested another partner if possible. Plus I mentioned when I googled the agents unique name it appears he's a young male.
Also, they have no way of knowing if a person really is male or female.
The email doesn't help me one bit, nor does it seem like they care?

I think it's going to be hilarious when someone signed up as the "other" gender...and receives a gift for their real life gender opposite!

I'm really kind of surprised at the enthusiasm of this exchange. Although, I can see where it would be nice for someone who does not have a lot of relatives or others they exchange gifts with. I have a ton of people to buy for, and it feels like I'm picking up things all year long and still not caught up.

However, it's a great marketing idea from Bzz. Bravo! Keep a number of members happy by giving them "points" for spending their own money and doing their own shipping. Anyway, I passed on it, even though I love giving gifts. I hope Santa is good to you all!

I don't think this is a typical *get points* thing... it's just for fun. I don't see where it's any kind of "marketing" idea... it's not getting them anything at all except probably a bit of grief when the ones who flake out, do their flake out and don't send their partner anything. It's a gamble, but it's for fun.

I had things I needed to mail today including this exchange gift but we're socked in with snow... not going anywhere today. I will probably just sit here and order something online instead... and yes, through MyPoints, so even if I don't get a gift from my partner, I get points that way.

Do explain how you would *better organize* something of this nature. they've done all that you can do when it's something like this. You match people up and that's it. There is nothing to *organize*. It's not their fault they've got a few whackjobs as agents... you cannot regulate or organize everything to death.

Those who are so cynical about these kinds of things should not participate. If you're doing it just to get something, then you're doing it for the wrong reasons.

It would have been nice to have some sort of option for those whose partners didn't respond or want to participate. Yes, they should never signed up if they didn't want to do it, but apparently quite a few did. Perhaps you could ask to be rematched if you do not get a response within a certain amount of time next year.

krispsmith

Probably more notice would have been good, especially since shipping is required. That's about all you can do.

I think it's three things for Bzz:

-A HUGE stalling tactic because they are pretty much out of campaigns
-Something everyone can participate in, so no one can say "I haven't been offered anything"
-More WOM for the company ;)

I agree.

I'm adding to the list of having a partner who signed up but doesn't respond. They responded to an email a few days after this started, asking where they should send the gift, without answering any of my questions in my previous emails. I then asked if we should find out a little about each other before just sending out random gifts.. that was on Saturday. Still no response so I emailed them today saying it's ridiculous they signed up in the first place, etc.

At least this is working out for some people!

Oh hey, just to clarify. I wasn't complaining. I wasn't "doing it just to get something." I thought it sounded like fun and when I got my partner's address, I sent my gift. But based on the lack of communication other than the address (seriously, a message with her address and nothing else), I don't believe I'm getting anything in return. Like I said, it is what it is. Bzz Agent should disqualify all of the participants who signed up and didn't participate. It's suppose to be a community of good hearted people. and most of the boards are filled with people who don't mind helping each other out in some type of way. And sometimes we're able to make lasting friendship. I really feel sorry for those out there that haven't realized that yet.

Anyone still looking for a nice gift for the $10 limit AND FREE SHIPPING... go to beauty.com through mypoints... I got this and had it sent:

This shipment includes the following items:
1 Aquolina Mousse Corpo Creamy Collection Body Mousse Set ($48 Value) Limited Time Offer! - 1 set $10.00

She did tell me she likes things like this so it's perfect! Anything ordered through there with the free standard shipping BEFORE Dec 19th they guarantee it will arrive by Christmas. This would make nice gifts besides the swap too. There are 4 jars of the mousse so they would make nice stocking stuffers for 4 different people.

I actually went to buy this and cancelled it after I read the reviews. :( It is a VERY good deal though, it is just that my skin is sooo dry, so it would not do ME any good!

I put together a nice gift package and mailed it a few days ago with a tracking number. USPS shows it was delivered yesterday. No thank you email from swap partner and no more emails since we exchanged addresses. Wonder if she liked it and/or if I will get an exchange gift back. Waiting to see. Her initial email sounded nice so I'm still hoping to get something. The holiday swap sounded like fun, but I feel bad for the people who swap partner didn't follow thru.

I don't think this is a typical *get points* thing... it's just for fun. I don't see where it's any kind of "marketing" idea... it's not getting them anything at all except probably a bit of grief when the ones who flake out, do their flake out and don't send their partner anything. It's a gamble, but it's for fun. tls

My point was that it got a lot of members happy and busy with a fun activity rather than sitting back and complaining about the lack of "free" campaigns. All you have to do is read the thread for proof. :)

I think the lack of participation, as in those not following through after accepting, is sad and discouraging for everyone, and probably not expected by Bzz on a large scale.

i really hope that your SS person follows through. but this is exactly why i didn't sign up for this one. i always get screwed in SS exchanges. i remember one year (many moons ago) we did a SS at my work (retail store). the jerky guy who got my name told me that he drew me and said that my SS present was going to be me getting credit for a big purchase he was making in the store. WTF?! his parents were coming in to buy him like $600 in clothes and he was going to give me the credit for the sale to help me on my sales quota for the day. first off, i didn't need any help meeting me quota and second, in order for him to get his discount the sale would have to go under his employee number. he was just a big jerk who wanted to get out of spending $10 on a co worker. the manager did chew him a new butt when she found out about his plan. but he never did buy me my present. and its the same story every time i sign up for one of these things. so that's why i didn't bother.
i hope everyone who signed up gets a present in return.

The same thing has happened to me, we exchanged addresses, so I sent out her gift last Friday showing delivered and sent her an email stateing that I sent it and hoped she liked it, no email in return, and so far no gift, I spent $30 and its one thing not to get something back but not even a thank you. I'm not giving up maybe she's just been busy. Hope you get something soon.

I have heard from mine several times, and am sending mine out hopefully tomorrow (assuming I can get to the Post Office!) I am sending a glade scented oils . . . She is not a slick dealer, so I am sure she does not have a million! I gave almost all of mine out now. I am also sending some BBW lotion thought I bought for my mom on Black Friday . . . BUT, well I will just give her something else. I am also sending a couple of family DVDs, and finally a book about Christmas miracles.

It is so sad to hear about so many people having problems. Hopefully everyone will receive something back!

Keep the spirit of Christmas in your hearts.
There will always be folks who use something or are only in it for themselves.
I had looked forward to making a new friend, but I have her address and know a little about her, so I'm doing the best I can with what I have.
Would I have liked more from this experience? Absolutely!
It's all about what you make it...and sometimes you're gonna have to sing a solo!

I like your attitude.....The true spirit of Christmas!!!!! Thanks....and I agree about the getting more from this experience....so I am here singing next to ya....you hear me?....the one that is totally off key   ..lol !!!!

Thanks for your email. I'm sorry that you are having trouble getting in contact with your partner. Make sure to check your spam or junk mail folders for the reply just in case. Unfortunately, due to the limits of time and technology, if your partner doesn’t respond, we won't be able to partner you with someone else. I hope that they get in touch with you soon so you can participate in the Holiday Swap!

I'm sorry your recipient was so rude, but honestly I would never have spent that much on someone I didn't personally know. They said the limit was $10, and yes I did go over a couple of bucks (although I SD'd most of the items so I did pretty well), and then had postage on top of that... so all told, I probably spent $20.

I sent my gift to my swap partner and it was delivered to her yesterday by UPS.

Haven't heard much from her, We've exchanged addresses and told each other a bit about each other but that's about it. I emailed her to tell her to have an eye out for the UPS man and that her gift should be there by Thurs. (yesterday) but I haven't heard from her and haven't received nothing yet. But There is still early next week for it to arrive so I am patiently waiting for it. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I don't get stiffed. It seems like everytime I do something like this I have bad luck (Gift exchanges, trades) the other side never sends anything in return.

I took the CoverGirl campaign with a key too. This will be super simple to bzz.

I sent my gift to my swap partner earlier this week and I know she rec'd it because I used Delivery Confirmation. But I haven't heard a word from her to say whether she got it and liked it or got it and hated it. In fact, I haven't heard anything more from her since we exchanged addresses. Oh well, at least I held up my end of the swap.

Exact same thing is happening to me. We exchanged addesses and some information and I sent out what I thought was a really nice package (over $10 that's for sure) with delivery confirmation and I know she got it days ago but haven't heard a word (email) back from her that she got it and whether she liked it, and haven't received anything from her or even an email saying she mailed something.

Like you said - at least we held up our end of the exchange and I am still hopeful.

Well I am miles from another key, but i took the lip stain. They only offered me 2 colors, one was a Berry color, and then a pink color. I chose the berries, because often pinks look just wrong on me. I hope it is a good color. ANNNNND a good kit!!!!

I bought my gift at Kohls for my swap partner, so it it shipping through there. Should be there Tuesday of next week . . . that way there was not an additional shipping cost, and she still got some great gifts. I brought my original package to the post office, and a flat rate box would have been cheaper, so I went the Kohls route. I got her a canldle, and gladd candle holder, and a teddy bear/ spa set with a little lotion and body wash. Spent a little over $10. I hope she likes it. I tried REALLY hard. I have had good communication with my swap partner the whole time, so I really lucked out! Oh I really hope she likes her swap though!!!!

Thanks for the heads up about CG! I would have missed it otherwise! Wish I had checked when it had more colors, but I have been very ill all day. Supposed to go to my dad's this weekend for a family holiday (DH family this christmas), and said there is just no way. The kids are disappointed, but I told them they could open 1 small gift tonight in replacement. That got them happy real quick. AHHH the magic of Christmas.

4 tealights and 2 small gift in a jar books..not ungrateful. Maybe I will pass them on.

What I am noticing on a bunch of the gift swap threads - as people talk about what they sent, what they got and whether they liked it - is that there seems to be a contingency of people that see "suggested gift amount $xx.xx" and spend that amount. Then there are people who just either spend or send a much larger amount. It seems a lot of people who send/spend a larger amount than suggested get disappointed when they receive a gift which fits into that amount.

We're all slick dealers here, so we know we're getting good bargains.....but I'm noticing a pattern. I'm also noticing a pattern between gift swaps with people you have some first hand knowledge of and those that you don't. Of course, if you know the person on a more personal level than just "woman who likes this, that and the other thing." you're going to use more effort to get a good fit.

I didn't join the gift swap for this reason. 1) you take a chance that it's reciprocal. 2) if you think about it and look at the 'what i got free in the mail today' thread - we're doing much better being our own gifters all year round for free!

i did join a bzzagent/slickdeal secret gift group with nine other people i 'know' from the boards and facebook. I loved shopping for my recipient and took a bunch of time doing it to get a good fit...hope it fit! I also was delighted to get my gift (i thought i knew who you were, but the addy you put on the box baffles me!) and it was a sweet and perfect match. But that's also because there is some emotion behind it.

I hope the bzzagent mass gift swap works out for those who joined, but I think I probably would not repeat this experiment.....however, it would be cool to get companies to put together little sample and coupon packs to send out to people who joined....no reports required....just to get people pumped.....

I did it for the fun of it, and I think you're right. $10 to a SlickDealer can do a lot more than to one who isn't. My gift, I spent exactly $10. Ordered online (through MyPoints, of course, so got points for myself, lol) and free shipping. The item I sent was a close out price, regular retail on it was $48. So if you look around, even $10 can be a really nice gift. I guess I am one of the lucky ones who's swap partner had no problem keeping in contact.

An SD swap where we are REQUIRED to stick to a set amount but see how much we can do with it would be fun!

I understand what you mean. I guess I am used to other swaps I have been involved in and I sent her my likes and dislikes. I have gotten used to sending my swap partners lots of goodies. I would have liked to see a 'gift give' where people were matched up with people serving in the military and send them something they like with no intention of receiving anything in return...that would have been very rewarding.

You can do that any time...

http://www.anysoldier.com/WhereToSend/

A huge list of addresses for soldiers there. You can send to specific individuals and some of them will also distribute to others they are stationed with, especially those who might not receive mail of their own.

You can stuff a 2-3 day priority flat rate box (pretty good sized one!) which is around $8; since it goes to an APO it doesn't cost you any more than if it were going to stay here in the states. There is a list on the site of things you cannot or should not send. We send out two boxes each Christmas, one to a male soldier and one to a female. We cram them full of little things like personal care items and bags of candy. We also save things like seasoning packets from take out restaurants and include hands full of those as well. We tuck every little nook and cranny of those boxes as full as we can get them. And then a few times throughout the year, we will pick two more names and do the same. They enjoy stuff not only at the holidays and it's especially nice when it's an off time of year and no one is hoping or expecting goodie packages!

And write them a letter! It's fun to get your kids involved or even their whole classroom can "adopt" a soldier and write them throughout the year, sending off a letter a week, so they have something to look forward to on a regular basis. Most of them will even write back, especially to kids.

For a couple of years. You can get a name and address of someone who do not receive much mail, and send them things. I have sent a lot more than books. Two were one size fits all and the leather pair were a 7.5...I've not heard from my swap buddy since her initial email with her address and what she wanted. Nothing received on my end...

This just makes me sad... that so many seem to have not had a pleasant experience with this swap. I enjoyed the gift swap and getting to know my swap partner a little bit. She may actually join us here after the holidays settle down. We didn't tell or ask each other what we specifically wanted... to me that seems... I dunno... hard to explain I guess. We just discussed a little bit about things we like and that made it easy enough.

Would I do this again? I am not sure. I have a feeling though that BzzAgent will probably not do this again. With the fairly high percentage *here* that seem to have been disappointed with it, I would tend to assume the range of *unhappiness* across all agents who participated is probably proportional to some extent. I think the people at the hive are ready to crawl under desks and hide at this point.

Just so everyone knows, if you had a partner in the northwest, our mail service is SEVERELY disabled right now...I haven't gotten anything from the mailman in over a week. We have close to 2 feet of snow on the ground. No UPS either :( FedEx did make it up one day last week. I have about 6 or 7 presents that are not here for X-mas.

CabinFever, are you getting mail where you're at?

I actually had a good experience-my swap partner and I just swapped addresses nothing about likes/dislikes etc. She makes jewelry and I got a really neat necklace/bracelet from her and I sent her locally made toffee and an ornament from a parish we twin with in El Salvador. It was fun!

Yes, I'm getting mail (thankfully). My partner emailed me and said she forgot all about it, although we had exchange addresses and gift ideas, and wished Merry Christmas with no mention of what I sent to her (which was mailed about a week before she emailed me).

So sorry to hear that some of you got "stiffed" on your gifts. I've been reading posts from when with swap thing began and some of those at the other end don't seem to exist after signing up. If one did not have 150% intentions of participating, then don't do it! I did not participate in the swap.

Nonetheless, with the horid weather we've been having, delivery has kinda sucked for all of us. I'm in south central Wisconsin and we've got a lot of snow but stuff is still being delivered. I had a couple packages delivered on Wednesday that were literally glazed with ice. Feel sorry for the postmen tromping through the unshoveled sidewalks.

It is only Christmas Day and your goodies may come through a day or so late - I hope so for all of ya!

:hug2: Have a safe and very Merry Christmas! :hug2:

Hi all, new to this thread. I corresponded with my partner and sent gift. Haven't heard back or recieved anything, but thats ok. What I'm most upset about is told her about slickdeals.net. Anyone that stiffs someone doesn't deserve to get any slickdeals.

i totally agree with you on this one. so far i got stiffed too. i sent mine a amazon gift card through email and havent heard back from partnere yet. i even emailed to make sure she got it, and no answer. maybe will be late, but my mail is fine here.

My buzz swap partner was in NH in the ice storm, had no power for days and went out to find a store that was open and had power to get my gift and get it sent. She said there wasnt much open, but she sent a nice gift and went to a lot of trouble to get it.I would have accepted an Im sorry in her case.I guess I got lucky, sorry to hear so many got stiffed.Im a little surprised, you wouldnt think so many would have signed up to do this and then not do it.We should just have our own gift swap here next year.

Everyone who had a problem and did not get anything, I would suggest waiting a few more days and then letting Bzz know about it. I think at the very least, with the negative feedback on this, they will not do it again.

There were plenty of ways to do this swap without having to leave the house, even if all you were able to do was send something like an online gift code, as I know some did. I ordered online and got free shipping which made it really easy and inexpensive for me to still send something nice. My partner belongs to a monthly craft club and sent me a couple projects from that, and I loved them. Neither one of us had to go to huge expense or trouble to send something nice that we both enjoyed receiving.

There was absolutely no excuse for anyone to sign up and then not do this, and not keep in contact. It's just rude.

So far I've completed my exchange on my part.My partner stated thru email she received it and that she sent hers a bit late due to the weather up north. We'll see if it comes. I believe she was being honest so we'll see. I agree w/ everyone. I didn't do it to get something but rather to meet someone new and b/c I thought it would be fun! I agree for those who feel they should've organized this back in Nov and demanded del confirmation! I sent w/ Del Conf and also emailed it to my partner. She stated hers was mailed from the post office and should get here about Friday (today) so far the mail hasn't run yet so we'll see.! I'll keep ya all posted! Also I agree, for those who sign up and do NOT fulfill their part they should be either suspended or eliminated! This was NOT mandatory and I truly believe that if you sign up to do it then just do it! Nobody twisted anyone's arm into signing up!

My swap partner did receive my gift. I sent some really nice body salts and a scoop, and some purfume spray and other body stuff! She said she really liked it and was sorry hers was going to be late due to the weather. So hoping my swap worked out! I figured we're the same age (47yrs young) w/ kids about the same age, hers a few years younger then mine, so that something for one's self would be appropriate.
I was fortunate w/ my work SS swap. I got the person I had 4 lenox elephants for her collection and a throw to keep herself warm at work (they keep it cold and she was always complaining about being cold)- she loved it! My person gave me a wonderful gift from the heart- a very nice hot/cold spa set for the eyes and neck and a neck wrap too! She knew about my conditions and thought this would be very appropriate! Nice to know she thought this through b/c I saw some of the swaps and felt bad for those people! Guess when one does things from the heart things tend to come back to us tenfold! At least for me it does! Think about it! ;-)

They'll be sending out a survey for the swap. I would love to know the results.

From Bzz Site When I Press On Report For The Swap:
Why Can't I Report?
Some Campaigns have no BzzReports. Instead we collect info via surveys. Be on the look out for updates on your Agent Home.

Also wanted to let you all know I just posted a thread in freebies about Sony and a program they are doing to donate ebook libraries to school. you can check my posts to find it. Literacy is one of the issues I am almost rabid about, so when there is a chance to help, I do my best to promote it. The Sony program will take about 2 minutes of your time.

Something interested occurred to me: we've all heard about the people who start multiple accounts at their friends and relatives houses -- I wonder how many people who did that signed up for the gift exchange and got a bunch of gifts without having to send any out?

Just a thought.

Maybe a better idea would have been to have a campaign for one of the online sites that sets up the Secret Santa matchups and have it go through that.

Update on the Bzz Swap....my gift was sent and received. Nothing on my end...not even a stinkin' email that says, "Sucks to be you, JBJ"

This has been a disheartening experience. I"d like to say I didn't expect anything, but I think the word "swap" pretty much is saying "two way deal".

Probably won't be signing up next year due to this year's experience...and it seems to be the majority...too many one sided swaps to make it fun.

I'm sorry that you haven't heard anything yet but don't give up hope. Maybe your partner is as feable-minded as me. I thought I had sent out my gift but then realized the day before Christmas that I still had it at home. It's been sitting here wrapped, addressed, and ready to mail. I had gum surgery the day before Xmas so I still couldn't get it out. It took me until today to send a note apologizing to my partner and letting her know that I will send her gift out tomorrow. I feel terrible. She sent me some very nice gifts that I received two days before Xmas.

Anyway, good luck to you and any one else that is still waiting.

This was an *at your own risk* deal. Bzz did, and offered, nothing beyond a name and email address. As I have said before, I would wait a few more days, as the mail does get slow at the holidays, and yes, some could have mailed late for various reasons... although there is NO excuse for not letting a partner know about it and apologizing. If nothing shows up over the next week, then let Bzz know about it. I am betting they will not do this again.

There are quite a few of us that didn't receive a return gift. I knew that when I only received a name and address from my bzzswap buddy that I probably wouldn't be receiving anything. I sent my gift anyway because I signed up for the campaign and wanted to send my buddy a gift to spread some Christmas cheer. I hope that they enjoyed it.
