Well I am not feeling as bad anymore, I sent out about $50 worth of nice stuff and Then finally after my swap buddy received mine she gave me a code for restaurant.com but there are no restaurants around me on there, and the ones that are like an hour away you have to spend $50 just to use the $25 Gift Certificate at least she sent something.

That is kind of lame. I mean, it's nice that she sent you something (even though you can't use it) but weren't those certs $3 awhile ago? I'm really glad I stuck to (well, pretty much) the $10 limit. I sent my partner things related to RI - coffee syrup, our ex-mayor's marinara sauce, an angel ornament (she works in a church) made in the next town over, and a box of ribbon candy. She emailed me back that she got it and was sending the second part of my gift soon. (I have already received a little box of chocolates).

I thought long and hard about what to send my partner.... and I thought it was a very thoughtful gift. She never sent a thank you :(

I'd sign up again if they offered it but I doubt that will happen. Bzz must have had an incredible amount of negative feedback about this whole fiasco. If, by chance, they do offer it next year I hope they screen it better. Or maybe we send the gifts to them and they forward once both sides have completed the swap? Pretty sad that adults(?) act this way.

Same reason that I would have never signed up for the bzz swap. The behavior of bzzagents (all the sonicares that appeared on ebay) made me think that a good number of these people simply look for ways to make money the easy way. Unfortunately, it seems that some bzzagents mistook the swap for just another bzzkit that arrived in the mail :mad:

I haven't gotten a campaign for 2 months. :(

There are quite a few of us that didn't receive a return gift. I knew that when I only received a name and address from my bzzswap buddy that I probably wouldn't be receiving anything. I sent my gift anyway because I signed up for the campaign and wanted to send my buddy a gift to spread some Christmas cheer. I hope that they enjoyed it.

I probably won't sign up next year.

I was wondering if whomever had signed up for the bzz holiday swap actually received their package from your assigned partner. I passed it up when offered.

I'm going to wait until Saturday to see if my present shows up, then try emailing her again. If no response by Wednesday, I'm giving up and letting Bzz know that I got stiffed. Not to be an a** about it, but it's just the whole point of the thing.

Perhaps the person did mail it and it got lost in the mail. Or maybe they were sick or had a death in the family. I know it's not right, but things do come up, and yes they should have informed you, but we have to give people the benefit of the doubt sometimes, at least at first because we do not know what is going on in someone else's life. Still no kit here. I am kind of mad, as I think some of my mail is being sent back. I have some C.O. Bigelow gloss that I tried with this, and it worked beautifully. I figured it would be the best to try because the Bzzbook said to try it with the CG gloss that had minty in it. I think I'll experiment with some Avon plumping gloss that Loribear sent, and with some Smashbox O-Gloss.

LOL yeah I noticed the scent and taste as well. I don't quite like the color I chose but am going to use a coupon and pick out something else. I do like the way it works though and it seems to last fairly long but it seems to me that using gloss lessens how long the color lasts.

i got my bzzkit on sat. i chose the nude color -- anyone on here who's read my posts before knows i've only been wearing burts bees lip balm and mascara since I was 14 - so I'm not big on makeup.....however, the nude color was not that much different than my natural lip color - but looked a little darker, richer almost. It just sits there until they offer you something to use it on. You can't pick and choose until you're offered a campaign that says it will require use of your key. Most of us won't waste our only key on a cheesy campaign. Sometimes, *sometimes*, if you turn down a campaign that requires your key, the campaign will be offered to you later without having to use it. But if it's a really cool campaign, take it with the key because it most likely will fill up and won't e offered again.

Use it wisely. They are few and far between at this point!

That is not quite true... you have to first be OFFERED the campaign, and sometimes it's offered with an early invite to a campaign you DO qualify for. If they are having trouble filling a campaign, they will then begin offering it to agents who might not qualify otherwise... but you cannot just decide you want to use it if you weren't invited in the first place.

are you guys using lip balm first - i know they suggested that. however, the lip balm creates a slick boundary from your actual porus lips. i normally practically bathe in clear lip balm...however, to try this, I exfoliated my lips with a washcloth and applied the lipstain directly. It lasted all day. It's my conclution that you have to allow the lipstain to actually penatrate the upper derma of your lips in order to remain. However, it's clever for them to recommend the lip balm first so you'll have to keep reapplying. When I used to sell makeup -- yes, you can laugh - they used to say to do a light dusting of powder over lipcolor to make it stay and it used to work.

I'm not using any balm under it. Mine stays fairly well but I put a coat of clear gloss on top of it.

Mine stays on most of the day unless I eat. Gloss really makes it stand out so I use both and it looks awesome!

No lip balm here. I exfoliated. I sat still (without licking:yummy: ) for five minutes. Still won't stain. I also kissed my three year old after 10 minutes and it left smooch marks. :eek: I still love the color...and did I mention the taste?! :lmao: BUT it's not a stain on my lips and definitely it is not kiss-proof!

You got it, lol. I read that about the balm and thought "huh???" and immediately ignored it. I use balm at night, buff my lips off with a dry washcloth in the morning. They stay nice and smooth and the stain actually lasts. You also have to be sure ti give it time to sink in... I do a second application about 10 minutes after the first has had time to soak in and dry a bit.

I got the Flirty Nude color *waggles eyebrows* and I really like it. Today I wore it with a Lancome Juicy Tube over it that had a reddish tinge to it with lots of sparkle. It was really pretty!

When I was shopping in store at the holidays, I was able to pick up a really nice orange cinnamon hand soap and lotion duo with a candle for about $25 (I was able to use my $25 bzz gift card!). And that included complimentary cello wrapping in store, which was a nice treat.
I would say overall it is probably a little higher quality than BBW, especially in the presentation (i.e. glass jar designs, packaging). The scents are a little more "pure" and less perfume-y. A little goes a long way. I like how the lotions are non-greasy too. I loved the orange cucina scent, but I wasn't big on the olive oil and coriander-it kind of smelled like men's deodorant!

I tried the Avon clear lip plumping gloss that Loribear sent me a while back and it actually works pretty well with the stain with no stickiness. The color came off a teeny bit onto the brush but stayed true nonetheless.

A Golden Key is only available to be used when the opportunity is offered to you. Typically it's when they have extra spots in a campaign that you otherwise wouldn't have qualified for. You can't pick and choose which campaign you want to use it on, you have to wait for them to ask you if you'd like to use it.

I got the Glade e-mail. Sounds like they are trying to make sure agents don't give up on them due to the recent lack of activity. They said in the next couple of months. I do love Lily of the Valley sent though:)

If the Glade Sense and Spray comes with a coupon for a free item, then it would be great to combine with February's Walgreens EasySaver rebate on the freshener. I don't recall how much the rebate will net you, but as SDers know, a couple bucks is a couple bucks! :)

Same, level 6 with early invite & two gold keys now (just received another within the past week). I was offered to use one key on the Uncrustables campaign, but I didn't think I wanted to (didn't want to kick myself if something better popped up). A day or two later, I decided to just go ahead and use it, and wasn't able to by then... so now I'm kicking myself for not using it.

Had a survey today, but nothing else since the last batch of surveys (and the HPV campaign).

These should show up immediately, sounds like you are missing a step. After you leave your opinion, you need to take the poll. That completes your obligation for that frog.

I've been on level 6 since they switched over to my points for rewards. I have 2 keys now, but their always offering some crappy campaign, & or something that's asking for money. And the frogpond, I hate emailing my friends about something I don't find interesting just to get a honeycomb to move to no where.

Hopefully they will come up with fresh ideas, for this new year

Nope, you only get credit for three frogs in a month as far as I'm aware. From what chia said a long time ago, there's supposed to be more campaigns coming, but with the economy and companies making their own focus groups like Psst and VocalPoint who knows for sure?

I do psst and vocalpoint too and both of those have been dead for a while tooo.

I did not care for the SB shower cleaner. Never really cleaned my entire shower. Some people had TONS of good luck with it though!

Scrubbing Bubbles thing really depends on the kind of water you have... I think if you have hard water, like I do, it's not worth it. I've yet to find anything that will clean my glass shower door back to it's pristine clear glass state. I am pretty sure I am not going to waste a key on it... (but thanks for the heads up call chia!)

So I went to Bzz and thought I would use a key since it expires in June. I had the scrubbing bubbles there with a key. I tried to get it and it said it was full.

I tested it 2 different times with different companies...and it sucked both times. The so-called hanging hook thing never fit right in my shower. We already have something hanging on the shower head, and there was no room for both that and the shower cleaner.

The battery compartment would fill with some kind of goo, presumably from the non-waterproof battery cover allowing water in + battery acid = nasty. Lasted each time through a single bottle of the cleaning solution before it died, for the above reasons.

I wouldn't bother wasting a key either.

I was unimpressed as well, pitched it as soon as it was out of cleaner. It didn't clean at all as far as I could see,maybe since the wall is textured? It doesn't reach the end of our shower either,or the top and when you marry the Jolly Green Giant, Your cleaner HAS to clean the top:lmao:

If no one has pointed this out yet, it's very possible it was filled for some demographics and not others. You are obviously in one that was not.

Well I took the Scrubbing Bubbles campaign with a key because for the first time ever I had no active campaigns.I had 2 keys and I didn't mind parting with one of them.Besides isn't accepting campaigns and creating bzz exactly what bzz agent is all about? So yep I took it and I'm excited,but I know that it won't beat good old fashioned elbow grease as far as cleaning is concerned. :nod:
