The Consumer Voice Panel is moving online!

Moving the CVP online will allow you to better interact with us going forward. The new website www.thecvponline.com is powered by Vision Critical. The website will provide you with an opportunity to get the latest updates of upcoming offline research events in your area, to join interactive discussions, take online surveys and Quick Polls... and so much more!

Like before, you may be invited to participate in off-line market research events in your local area. The compensation ranges from $100 - $300 depending on the nature of the event.

Vision Critical is providing services for a client that is unnamed to protect the integrity of the research. If you decide to continue as a member of the CVP, then any personal information you share with Vision Critical, including information obtained from your participation in CVP activities, will be handled in accordance with Vision Critical's Privacy Policy (click here to view).

Please click on the link below or paste the entire address into the window of your Internet browser. This link will direct you to a short survey to update your profile and determine eligibility for upcoming online and off-line research events.

https://www.thecvponline.com/Portal/default.aspx

After completing the survey, qualified participants will be sent a confirmation email with instructions on how to complete the registration process.

If you do not register via the link above, you will no longer be a member of the Consumer Voice Panel. Any personal information which you shared with Synovate, the previous service provider for CVP, will be handled in accordance with Synovate's Privacy Policy (click here to view).

Thank you for your time. Your opinions are important and make a difference.

Best Regards,

Your Support Team at the Consumer Voice Panel

Something isn't right with them. For the initial sign up they wanted to know when you are going to buy a car and what car you drive. I can see that as a survey or as part of a more extensive registration process but by itself seems suspicious. Also nothing on their website works. They list newsletters, surveys, and discussions, but there are none.

I knew I should have followed my gut feeling.

Not sure that this is a scam site. I received an invitation through e-Rewards to join this, and I don't believe they would do that if this wasn't legit.

"You may qualify to participate in an offer from an e-Rewards partner, the Consumer Voice Panel (CVP). CVP members have many opportunities to voice their opinions about everyday products and services, as well as interact with other panel members through interactive discussion forums. CVP members may also be invited to participate in off-line market research events in their local areas (i.e. focus groups). The compensation for these off-line activities ranges from $100 - $300 cash depending on the nature of the event.
Would you be interested to see if you qualify for the Consumer Voice Panel?"

Anyway, the links on CVP's web site work for me, so I don't know what to say except that I didn't sign up due to time restrictions.

Just got a screener from them, at the end it said I qualified for a web conference/session on September 9th that requires being on cam and the phone at the same time. It also states that if you do not have a cam they will provide one at no charge and there is also a small honorarium for completing the conference/session.

I got this too. I can't remember signing up with them. Guess we will see how small the honorarium is.
