Good Afternoon, We are doing another video chat this coming Tuesday, March 31, among women aged 21+ who are connoisseurs of high end luxury fashion and/or makeup. More specifically we want to chat with women who are familiar with and at least occasionally purchase Christian Dior, Chanel, YSL or Dolce Gabbana products. We will be doing three video chats on Tuesday at 6, 7, and 8 pm eastern standard time. Each chat will last around 45 minutes. As always, you need to have a functioning web cam and a cable modem Internet connection. The compensation for this will be $100. You will only be paid if you actually partake in the focus group. I don't know how to sign up for this group though, or the one that takes place today. I signed up for VCN the other day, and they know I exist [obviously - the email] but nothing happens when I click login (on both FF and IE). All I can do is sign up to be a panelist again...which seems pointless

Just reply to the email with all the info they're looking for. It's a little different then most, and they used to explain it in the email. I noticed they hadn't done that in the last few and thought it was a bit strange, and confusing for anyone new!

I'd bet the one tonight is already full. They fill-up fast, and usually let you know you're in the day before so they can test your connection to make sure there are no 'issues' that need fixing. Then set you up with the contact you need in your friends list so they can 'call' you for the chat.

This one you'd send your age, which of the lines you're familiar with/purchase, and which times you'd be available. If you've never done one with them I'd let them know you have a webcam and a cable connection as well.

I am guessing you would reply to them indicating your interest in the study and then they would call you and ask some pre-screening questions to determine whether or not you are qualified to participate. Again, just a guess.

Believe it or not, nope! The last one I did I replied to the email, got the confirmation that I was in and the link to the software. Then David called and walked me through the set-up process and checked my connection. Super easy, and he's really nice.

No problem. The emails used to explain it, don't know why they stopped putting it in there.

I also want to let people know these guys are very fast to pay. I got my check nine days after the session. It came in a really cool black envelope...LOL! It was a hand-written check so I was a little nervous, but it cleared no problem. They send out a lot of invites, too. I get 7-10 a month. Though they seem to come in waves. Nothing for a week, then four in a few days.

Yeah, I really love this company. Does it show? They're such a good bunch of people I want to see them suceed. So I'll be in any thread about them whoring them out...:D

I would really be careful with these video chat surveys if you are not qualified as say that you are. They can catch on pretty fast if you are not telling the truth or making up stuff. It sounds that they do a large amount of different surveys so I would not ruin my chances of future surveys with them by lying.
