LiveWire is looking for adults, age 18 and older, to participate in a paid survey (amount not yet confirmed, but it will be a short survey, so probably $2-$5). You will be eligible to participate in this paid survey opportunity based on your responses to our pre-screening questions.
You will find the pre-screening survey at:
https://snaponline.snapsurveys.com/surveylogin.asp?k=123834414533
If you are eligible for the paid survey, we will contact you within the next two days. Let me know if you have any questions.

Aren't they the site that wants your SS# to pay?? Seems I might have stopped these due to that.

Mrs Jeffers - I signed up with them in October and this is the first I've heard from them. The invite went to my old email, did the pre-screen, went back in to change my info and couldn't figure out how to log in. But I did scan through the FAQs and this jumped out at me:
Why do you require a social security number for payment?
We require a social security number for payment because our panelists are considered independent contractors of our company. So, in much the same way you would provide the number to any employer, we need it. While there is no tax implication to you if you earn under $600 in a calendar year, the number allows us to deduct the tens of thousands of payments we make each year on our corporate taxes.
Isn't it SurveySpot (or anyone for that matter) will wait till you hit the 1099 threshold before requesting the SSN?
And since it was back in October, I don't remember giving my SSN and probably did NOT. I'm just a bit leery of giving that info before even getting my clutches on a single survey. Call me paranoid......

I believe I did a survey with them WAY back last year and they said they couldn't pay me without it- never did take that payment:( Not so sure I want to give it just for a couple of buck every now and then.

I am not afraid of survey sites that I am sure of... heck I won a GC from Stanford... had to send in SS number.... Now Live wire ...never been asked ...I have always gotten paid with no questions asked... But they are correct...if any person has monies paid from one survey site in excess of $600.00 It must be reported..... same as any company.... if they don't they are in trouble. Like I said though For sites I trust I am ready to give them the info... There is nothing online that is totally secure....but these sites that I know I feel are as secure as can be. And ANY SURVEY SITE that would pay me $600.00 bucks in one year...they can have what ever they want:lmao: JK but if anyone knows of a site that pays like that...pm me immediately !!:omg: :omg: I would be forever grateful !!!

So do they ask for a SS#? I'm just plain uncomfortable giving that out online, even if the site does pay out...
