Hey what is up with OpinionOutpost and Your2cents. I use to get surveys from both companies all the time. But now neither company sends them to my inbox. Instead I have to go to their websites to look for a new survey. OpinionOutpost keeps on deleting my account saying there is a problem email deliverability issues. I always have to re-instate my account to get back to the members webpage.

Thats odd..... :dontknow: I get surveys from OO every so often and always wait with anticipation for an OTX survey :shake:

Poorboy - there's obviously something not agreeing with your email account. Are you using something out of the ordinary?

I used to get a ton of surveys from Your2Cents until I cancelled out after my last payment from them which took three months to receive. Took the check directly to the bank and just wanted to cash it. The bank ran the check and was kind of a phoney where the explanation was that your2cents did not send some type of electronic file to the bank for processing (what ever that may mean). Nonetheless I sat around and waited in semi-embarrassment while the bank MANAGER got on the horn with Your2Cents and cleared it up 20 minutes later. After waiting three months to get an "iffy" $10 check I decided to dump them.

I am not sure what the problem is. But suddenly they started deleting my account. Almost everytime I go to log into my account at OpinionOutpost, I get a message saying, "Your account was deleted because of email deliverability issues, please confirm you email address by clicking in the box". So I click on the box and confirm my email address and then go into my account and find a survey or two to try to complete. My domain email account name is hughes.net. But I don;t think the problem is with the email address. I think there is a problem with OpinionOutpost and also Your2cents! I have called OpinionOutpost and they tell me the problem is with hughes.net, but I am certain the problem is with OPINIONOUTPOST. This problem started when I unsubscribed from some other survey websites and OTX survey website!!!!

I would try the OTX surveys, but I have never seen one finish on my browser, they always hang up in the same place giving the same error message!

I dont understand why you dont just get a free email account at yahoo or gmail and tell them to send the surveys to your new email address? If they say they are having a problem with hughes.net just give them a different email account at yahoo for your surveys.

Who is hughs.net? I'm sorry - I don't get out much. :shake: But that would be your culprit. As xray says open up a free account and I'd suggest gmail. I switched from yahoo mail a couple months ago and avoid that account like the plague. Google is so much more user friendly and functional than Yahoo. JMO

I get surveys from OO almost every day. Y2C sent me two in the past week [DQ on both] but this was after months of not sending me any so I was kind of surprised to see them.

You could be right about the hughes.net account. But I still think there is a problem is within the your2cents,com and also Opinionoutpost.com email servers. Their problem is with the time zone variation I think. Why is it that I get survey invites from the other survey companies at the hughes.net address. I don;t seem to have problems with the other companies. This problem happened to me when I first joined OpinionOutpost a year and a half ago. Suddenly, I stopped receiving email invites from them and when I went to my account page to look into why, I ran into the same problem. Back then I called and talked top tech support and they fixed the problem for me. But now when I have called I seem to get the same excuse.

Fact is I can't have fifty different email address accounts for fifty different survey companies. I do have a gmail account and I will try to change it just to see what happens. But I think I will run into the same problem again though. I think the problem is with OTX, being I skip the OTX surveys, I think the OPINIONOUTPOST account is being hacked into by OTX and it is deleting my account because the OTX servers are expecting a response but never get one from my machine.!!!

I ask again, why can I get survey invites from all the other survey companies and not from OPINIONOUTPOST in particular????

Poorboy, have you tried calling OOP at 877-254-1234? Just a suggestion.

Becouse certain ISPs an Domain servers keerp black and white lists. If enough people claim a company, ect is sending out spam the ISP puts that companys name on a black list- not allowing any mail to be delivered. AOL email( as well as others) does this all the time- blocking legit companies and then you have to beg them to take it off their blacklist.
Yahoo an Gmail NEVER do this. For all you know- hughes.net might be blocking OP becouse they are on their black list.
Just set up a yahoo or gmail account for all your survey companies- you probably will never experience "undelivarable enail" again.

Good suggestion, I lost Lightspeed and ACOP because of AOL, switched it to Verizon and now all is well.

They are the happenest ISP provider on the internet. I am talking satellite two way super duper private communications. They are a bit slow in upload and download. And do have connection problems when the weather gets bad. But as far as high tech goes!!! They are the highest. They operate in multiple countries, have military, business, and consumer connections. Even HOMELAND SECURITY is on one of their satellites.

Hughes.net started the Satellite internet connection business. They were the first and are better that the rest, hands down. I have been a member of hughes.net even before they were called hughes.net.

The company is a part of directv. If you look into the company history, that company goes back to the early 1950s. Hughes.net is named after the original owner who was a world famous scientist/millionair businessman named HOWARD HUGHES. He owned the original RKO Radio/Television empire or the 1940s and 1930s era!!!

Hughes.net is is one the the silent originators of the internet as we know it today. They just don't advertise or talk about it though. If it were not for Hughes.net, there would be no internet. The company holds more power than Bill Gates himself!!!!

Hughes.net is a force to recken with.

i received this in an email from Your2Cents back in August '08, and i dont think i've received a survey since. To enable the reduction in check processing time we have installed a new check printing process and we will be changing the reward redemption minimum from $5 to $10 for check requests received starting on September 1, 2008.

and of course, i have $9 with them.

Opinion Outpost sends me emails all the time, but i never qualify. i never qualify for any OTX, always same old questions, and then eventually they tell you you cant take any more because youve taken too many for that day.

ive qualified for 3 surveys with Opinion Outpost in the last 7 months.

Poorboy - told ya I didn't get out much. :wave2: Thanks for the history lesson - very interesting. Regardless, there is something unfavorable with some survey sites and hughes. And obviously I do not hold enough knowledge to offer an intelligent solution.

I can relate to having multiple email accounts for surveys and one will do just fine. As I mentioned I switched from ymail to gmail and the greatest thing is not get 300 spammers as I did (and still do) in ymail. Although it was a manual process changing my info with the survey sites it was well worth the time spent.

I am so pleased not to be spammed to death as I was in ymail. :spam3:

I started 2 months ago and have been sent almost 60 surveys since. Out of those I actually only took 35 and have qualified for about half. I have almost $40 in my account so far.

I've never qualified for an OTX survey though. Most of my "not a match" are OTX. Now I don't even do them or I choose the answers I know will get me booted and gives them the least info as possible. I think the only purpose is to collect info under the guise of "qualifying" HATE OTX!

I haven't gotten an OO survey since the beginning of this year. It's odd b/c I used to get them so often. I haven't changed my ISP and it lets me on to the site no problem...so what gives?!

I believe it is satelite internet- they have commercials and my friend up in Wisconsin has it. Of course she is constantly being kicked off so trying to do surveys is very difficult!
