I tried all the codes but it appears that they all have been used. Too late for me. Thank you much anyway.

If anyone gets stuck and can't find a free e-file code, the next best thing is to pick up a TaxCut Standard disk at Dollar Tree for $1. Each disk comes with a free e-file code. I believe it will work for any return filled out with any TaxCut program.

Don't know about the state stuff with TaxCut. There are free state efiles by certain states, but I think NY uses TurboTax - I paid the $20 to TaxCut :(

Unfortunately, I am too late to complete my return in next 2-3 hours and state probably needs Federal to be completed. So not sure if I can go to CA link to file for free at their online link. But that would have been great, if I would have started at least 10-15 days back! Too lazy of me.
