Has anyone else noticed that almost 50% of the posts to "Help me find a deal" are for items that were slickdeals/hotdeals the previous week and are now expired?

Are people doing this on purpose, or are they just seeing an expired deal and are looking for another one to come along?

some want a better deal, or they weren't in the market for it then. some are looking for an exact item that the slick/hot deal didn't have. but just looking over it i don't see what you are talking about.

There's been a lot of activity there recently. Most of the posts I was referring to are now on page 3 and later.

tires for my car, xp deal, dvd+r media, looking for a hot deal on ram, wireless mouse and keyboard, cheap small hard drive, external drive enclosure...

I've noticed the same thing recently....Is there a way in the "Help me find a deal" forum to have the OP indicate that they've were able to get what they were looking for and then expire the thread?

It's always been like that, really. I always figured it was mainly people that missed out on the previous deal.

The really interesting ones ask about something that's currently on the front page.
