I got an email from testspin stating that they are now paying off with either paypal cash or amazon.com gift codes. They do point out that they are charged a fee by paypal so they pass that cost along.

I checked to see what that entailed. If I wanted to cash out $50 from my test spin balance I could get five (5) $10 dollar amazon codes. If I want to cash out $50 to paypal, after the fees, I actually will only see $41 transfer into my paypal account.

Although I like the quicker payout that paypal should give, it seems like a pretty steep percentage to me, especially since they'll save costs by not having to process and mail checks.

Up until about a month ago it was Amazon only. I've been with Testspin for a few years and just started getting offered Paypal a few weeks ago.

I agree with you on that one. I've been stuck at $5 for like a year. And I also never qualify for there surveys either.

I have been paid by Testspin about 4 or 5 times, But I haven't qualified for a survey for them in months. However, it's good to know they have finally made good on their longstanding promise to pay via Pay Pal (although the fee part stinks!!)

Thanks for the heads up, I've been a member for a few years and have been paid maybe 5 times in Amazon cards, they've been saying they'd pay through paypal for a year now! They are just so slow to pay and its hard to qualify. They are just so-so with me now..

Personally, I enjoy receiving amazon certificates, so I'll continue to stick with amazon certificates and get my full $10 value

i hardly ever qualify for any of their surveys, ive almost deleted them from my bookmarks on numerous occasions.

i've been a member of testspin for years and have cashed out a few times for amazon GCs but I never seem to use them so I've been waiting for this change. In fact, I've been bugging them about it for almost 2 years since they posted an announcement saying they were going to be offering paypal soon.

must say, I'm very disappointed, however. my $130 testspin dollars translates to $106 to cash out with paypal. a $24 service charge for this seems absurd, considering any other survey company usually allows you to cash out to paypal or for a check without much issue.

I thought that fee was a joke that someone was posting to say something about how fee'ey paypal is. I guess you guys are serious. That is rediculous. I personally prefer amazon and have got each of my 3 payments immediately (I've cashed out 3 times in 5 years so it's no cash-cow anyway LOL)

i finally reached pay out and they can't process amazon GC's right now.

Wow Testspin has been promising paying through PayPal for at least a couple years. Can't believe they're finally doing it. Still glad I stopped using this survey company though.

If I ever reach payout I am through with these guys!

I just cashed out for Paypal on there, and still havent gotten payment, though they said 2-3 days and I cashied out on the 29th. Amazon payment is instantaneous.
