I am a student at the University of Michigan and the mother of two daughters. I would like to learn about the experiences of other mothers, so I am conducting a research project.

If you match the description below, you may be eligible to receive a $20 Visa gift card, or $20 cash if you prefer, for sitting with me for an interview.

Interviews will be confidential and last about 1-2 hours, depending on how much time YOU would like to spend. During the interview I will ask you questions about what it is like to be a mother.

You may be eligible if you:
* are a mother,
* currently live in the Southeastern Michigan,
* your oldest child is 8 to 12 years old,
* you were 18 or younger when you had your first child,
* you are Latina, African-American and/or White and
* you grew up in the US (don't have to be born in US)
