The Boston VA is conducting a study on how women cope with the experience of being sexually assaulted in the weeks and months immediately after the event. If you are a woman over the age of 18 who has had an unwanted sexual experience in the past month, and are interested in participating, please call Maria at 857 364 6027 or email study.technician@gmail.com. The study consists of four secure, confidential online questionnaires completed once a month for four months. $20 is provided upon completion of each set of questionnaires (i.e. $80 for full participation). Questions ask, for example, about ways in which you have been coping with the assault, how the event has impacted you emotionally, and how you're thinking about the event. You can skip over any questions you do not want to answer. Please feel free to call or email with any questions. You do not need to reside in Boston to participate.
