why do some slickdeals get moved from the hot deal section after the initial post, and some don't?...

I don't know the answer, so that's why I was hoping one of the mods or mr. slickdeals could.

I always thought only things posted on the front page were in the Slickdeals section, am I wrong?

i posted the leather chair deal, and it was just linked to the front page, not moved. but, sometimes when a deal becomes "slick" it physically gets moved to the slick deals section. it's no big deal, just wondering if there was a method or if it's just arbitrary...

If the deal originates from the forums, the thread has to be manually moved to the slickdeals forum. A lot of times, I forget to do that. Once in awhile, a deal gets moved from the slickdeals forum to the hot deals forum to prevent guests from posting.
