Thanks OP! Does anyone know where in the Target store you pick these up??? I have no idea, and I've been to Target many times! (Customer service?) And do you just give them your name/email and they look it up? Thanks!

You need to go to the store to get it. Call your local to target to make sure they are a part of the giveaway, not all targets participate.

Not sure why you got a thumbs down - this is a great find. I've done it before and I know that it works. You just take a copy of your registry with you to the customer service desk and they give you a new $20 gift card. When I did it, the two girls at customer service didn't now about it so they called the manager and he told thm all about it and gave me my gift card - very easy $20 if you shop at Target. thanks

Of course, I wait forever to do this (now that I'm expecting again!) and my local Targets have no idea what I'm talking about! (Heard about this a couple of years ago, but, didn't try as I wasn't pregnant.)
Repped and thumbs up, anyhow!
Edited: Called some Targets further up in the city...well, I had dh call :) (these were the Super Targets, or whatever they are called) and they said that they do participate. Some, for me, reg. T's NO, T's with groceries, YES! Obviously a ymmv!

Any way to keep a registry private for a while? I have a mother who likes to snoop and I don't want to get that phone call!

I just went to Guest Services and asked for a baby registry Welcome Kit and they
handed me one. Just in time to donate for the holidays. Contents included:
- A Baby Einstein DVD Sampler
- 1 sample of Target brand 4.3 oz Infant Formula with Iron Powder
- 1 sample of Swaddlers Infant Diapers
- 2 samples of Huggies Supreme Little Snugglers Newborn Diapers
- A $20 gift card to Shutterfly
- Coupon for $1 off Target Cafe purchase of $1 or more
- Coupon for $5 off 32 oz Similac (good only at Target)
- Coupon for $5 off any Baby Einstein DVD (good only at Target)
- Coupon for $6 off Nestle Good Start Powder Infant Formula (good only at Target)
- Target Baby Catalog with dollar off coupons good for similar items listed here
They may or may not ask you to present a copy of your baby registry. The first
time I went they asked for a copy of my registry but didn't have the Welcome Kits
in stock. This time they didn't ask.
For those only interested in the $20 Shutterfly gift card or without babies, you can
donate the DVD to Toys for Tots and the samples to any store or business helping
the needy. A food bank would gladly take the diaper samples too.
