Sorry for the short notice but I didn't find it posted.
It requires a Credit Card but they won't charge it until the trial is over. I used a Pay Pal single use card just in case I forgot to cancel.

Here's the direct link to the sign up page.

um. okay. this is pretty crappy deal because of stamps.com's conditions. None of this stuff is free. You must "complete" the free trial. Meaning you have to stay registered past the trial and pay for a month's worth of service.

I use stamps.com for my business. It's great printing your own stamps. You do have a monthly fee; but if you have a business it's a write off. It pays off though, (for me it does) you don't pay what you'd pay at the USPS window for shipping charges. Insurance is much cheaper.
As for confirmation, you get that free, but I think you get that free if you print through the USPS site.....not sure about that one.

I had a really, really terrible experience with Stamps.com and ended up being charged like $50 even though I canceled my trial before it ended because there's like a "processing" time for your cancellation of a few weeks, evidentally..

anyway, thanks for posting. I'm sure someone will find it useful.

I've done this more than once and I didn't stay registered past the trial. I still received whichever gift card they were offering at the time. I didn't get the scale and the 'supplies kit' but I was only interested in the gift card anyway.

just use a virtual card from paypal, and then close it.
