I just got the off campaign also, I cant wait to get it, I hope its good, we need it when we go camping. I am level 6 early invite no key needed in PA ,

So was everyone who got Off from level 6? I am level 5 and didn't get it yet.

I am also Level 5 and no Off, but my mum who lives down the street is L6 and got it, so I am thinking that it hasn't hit L5 yet, but I'm not sure.

Wow, that is weird. It looks to be more like internal notes, that shouldn't have gone out to you. I have written several reports with negative buzz, all in a constructive fashion. My most recent was for L'Oreal Revitalift, and I got 50 points for that one. How many points did you get?

also - you should bzz THIS response to Jono at the hive. Even if they're thinking something like this, they shouldn't put it in writing and they should never give the agents any indication that these feelings exist. Not only that, it SOUND LIKE THIS REVIEWER should have a gentle reminder that bzzagent is to get positive or negative feedback on products. Haruumph!

You are supposed to Bzz positive and negative. Please make sure you email Jono and let him know that you received this email. I'm thinking the agent meant to send this to support because they didn't know how to deal with the negativity but hit "accepted" instead (which generated the email to you). There is no excuse for the ignorance about Bzz that this reply contains. Do everyone a favor and report it to the Hive.

Hey, did anyone here get the Quorn campaign that I see listed under other campaigns? I love the stuff, and would really appreciate a coupon in exchange for some buzz!

Also, verybella, the message you got is shockingly inappropriate and unprofessional! I would never send my boss an e-mail like that, much less leak it to the consumer. Hope they get some sort of discipline!

Regarding the negative buzz issue...

Here is how I see what we do...

"Buzzing" the product is us talking about it to other people.

A Bzz report is what we give them detailing how we approached the other person and their response to it.

So... in my opinion, there is a HUGE difference in "Negative buzzing" and having a "negative report."

"Negative buzzing" would, to me, mean you went in with a bad approach to the person you were talking up the product with, maybe saying you thought this stuff sucked etc etc... but maybe you would like to try it anyway.

"Negative reporting" would be that the person you gave the sample or coupon to or just talked to did not like the product for whatever reason.

So whatever actually happened in this response to your "report", to me personally, it sounds like they think you went into the process of buzzing on a negative tone or something, not that the person had a negative response to it.

I hope this makes sense. I am drawing my conclusion about this from what BzzAgent is saying, not what you may or may not have done.

We've always had the habit of saying we had "good bzz or bad bzz" regarding the product, when what we should really be realizing is that WE buzz the product, in essence, we are advertising it... the RESPONSE *to* our Bzz is what we report.

I don't think any of us have EVER had a "negative response" from Bzz in return for giving a report about a negative reaction.

Something isn't right there at all.

I was just surprised from their comment thats all, I have written reports that were negative about the products before (meaning, when I give some one a coupon and explain to them about being a bzz agent, and what it is etc, if they ask me how I like the product when I tried it, I'm not going to lie to them, I am going to tell them why I do or do not like the product, and give them reasons. Then when I submit a bzz report I cite what I told the person/people and their reactions.)
In this case I told her that the makeup remover made me break out after using it and left too much of an oily residue. I also told her that my skin gives me trouble anytime I use a new product, and how after trying it I realized that I don't really have a need for makeup remover since I don't wear waterproof anything. So sticking to plain face wash to take my makeup off made more sense for me. I mentioned that I know of other people who really like the product, and gave her the coupon so she could try it for herself.
(of course there was more detail and of course quotes, all my reports end up being several paragraphs long, just a habit from the 'old days' I guess.)

Its one thing for them to say something like "we're sorry this product doesn't work for you or ...., but keep up the bzz'ing and trying it and just maybe you will find another use for it" or something along those lines, but (well as I saw it anyway) telling me that I was wrong for telling the person my honest opinions about the product was just rude. It kind of made me think that they would rather I just lie about how the product works so that it sells.( which would defeat the purpose of having us try the product out at all.)
Oh well I guess, I usually bzz the products like crazy, and submit several reports for every campaign I get in, (it gives me a reason to interact with people-ha ha) But if they really don't want me as a bzz agent anymore then they will just blacklist me. As much as I like bzz'ing and being a part of the bzz agent community, I'm not going to stress myself out about being cut from the program.

What it sounds like is that you had an inexperienced, maybe new to the workplace, reviewer who shoved her foot right up her own throat and will soon be kicking her own tush with it. keep doing what you're doing - it's right. She's wrong.....someone must have sucked the honey right out of her comb....:vomit:

verybella, I hope you forward that to the many faces of jono - that's an entirely unprofessional response to an honest bzz. I've negatively bzzd products before because they didn't work for me, but maybe they'll be a better fit for my friends! My sister was here when I tried that horrid lint sweeper thing that didn't do squat on my couch covers, but she was intrigued and took it home and loved it.

verybella dont let a person like that change what you always been doing, heck she's flat out wrong! I've been giving bad reports from friends and family members off and on and i report the truth bottom line. Just on the last campaign i did, i send 2 bad reports back to back..lol!.. my aunt didnt like and the other one was a girl at work..nothing i couldnt do about it. ..ya i would of prefered happy buzzing but i guess the people i know are really freeging fussy!!:lmao:

I've done product evaluations (online and in-person for some big companies) and I've never once been told NOT to give negative feedback.

A certain PC software company told us they would rather hear negative than positive things...what can they do with positive feedback, really? Negative feedback is what helps companies with products.

If this is the way Bzzagent truely operates behind the scenes...I predict they will be kaput in the next few years.

Yeah, I signed up in December and had one campaign for HPV in Feb. but finally got my first real campaign last week for John Freida. Waiting, waiting, I am very excited.
I really didnt understand how BzzAgent worked exactly but after the first HPV info campaign I pretty much figured it out, and am awaiting my first real campaign!!

I've had problems with negative reports in the past, not recently though. Bzzagent told me I should pretty much argue with the people if they say they're not interested.

I will say this whole bzzagent thing has been interesting,but there is one thing that has been bothering me though. I signed up back in October, then about a month or so in I decided to cancel my membership, I received a confirmation and everything for it. I didn't hear anything from them until the Clean and Clear campaign, and I am fine with being involved now, but it does make me a little wary about them. Has anyone else experienced this?

That's crazy...we are not sales people. We are not getting paid commission to try and get people to buy these products. I'm not going to argue with a friend or family member who is not interested.

Although I've posted negative comments before that I've received in bzz reports and I've never received a rude response from a reviewer. So I think it sounds pretty hit and miss. Maybe the reviewer was just having a bad day and took it out on their report.

The feedback from the Hive was appreciative and they said they would pass the comments on to Chili's. I mean, seriously, I can't imagine that Chili's wouldn't want to know that thier new "healthy" entrees were so sodium-laden that they were rendered inedible.

That was exactly what I wrote them about. I commented on the fact that Chili's is a multi-million dollar restaurant chain. You cannot possibly tell me they can't hire chefs to create tasty food that doesn't have so much sodium! Got the John Frieda in the mail today. Really nice kit! This will be easy to buzz with the coupons AND samples. They did send the one for dry hair. I will try it anyway but don't really have a problem with that... my hair is really short and I get it cut every few weeks so it doesn't have time to get split ends or dry or anything else. I noticed the samples are the strengthening version so I might try it out and see what my daughter thinks about the dry hair stuff. She will probably love it. It smells wonnnderfullll!

I know some might disagree but I think the more effort you put in while in lower levels gets you noticed a bit and you might stand a better chance of getting into more campaigns. While it's still based primarily on demographics, if it comes down to finding one more person for a campaign, and they're sitting there choosing between two agents, personally I'd pick the one who seems more into buzzing and sending in well thought out reports.

Then they can get a great deal when they try it. I have not had it offered, but I don't think I will take it if I do. I don't like those chat cards and I have a drawer full of razors already.

I'm not taking it with a key (if it's offered to me) -- all the SD I get for free razors, I already give my friends tons of free ones. It's not worth spending a key on, IMHO.

Very rarely. And this is usually once the campaign has been running for a while. And the one time I got an extra kit, it just showed up in my mailbox, no email. Sadly, not all buzzers will get this joy, and some might get it more than once. Just gotta see how lucky you are! HTH

I don't think getting Chat threads means you won't get to file reports. The Diet Mountain Dew has chat threads but you still get to report.

What do you use out of curiosity? I loove the soleil razors! I use them exclusively now.

I used to LOVE soliel but I have cut me legs with the one I got free @ CVS with My Nivea tanning stuff. My legs have giant cuts on them. But this one seemed like it had more of a moisture strip, thats why I wanted to try it.

yep i also love them when i travel and stuff. I'm very happy i used my key for bic because it's a product i like and i can easily buzz about with the people i know

No honeycomb. *Could* be booted (although it hasn't happened yet). You really should give it a tad bit of effort, they give you 4-8 weeks to submit a few reports. :( I am sure it is considered when sending out campaign sign-ups and bonus kits.

You don't get points and you don't move up a comb for them. It doesn't *usually* affect your status as far as getting other campaigns but it's really best to get them done well ahead of time because the end sure can sneak up on you! The post campaign poll will ask if you reported all your buzz and just say *no* and continue accordingly. If it asks why, just explain. I don't know if they even ask because I have never answered that question in the negative.

Just a quick question... I did my Frogpond polls for May and they ae now showing up, as giving me a new honeycomb... do I have to wait till the end of the month for the honeycomb or am I missing something? I never really paid attention to how Frogpond worked before...

I tried it today afraid of the same thing and I LOVE it. It did not leave my hair greasy feeling at all. I think we were all worried about it but so far everyone seems to really like it here.

I did a smoothness test w/one leg using the Gillette Venus and one leg using the Schick Intuition. Venus was better by far for smoothness. Intuition is nice when I'm 1/2 asleep...
