I am doing the beta thing and it is a lot of effort. You can't submit bzzreports through it. I looked at it for about ten minutes Saturday.

Well I have no idea what is going on now . . . but I got the Neutrogena kit this weekend . . . the CVS DID NOT carry it, so no free for me . . . but I think we will use it alot for the little one.

I also got in on the Beta . . . hmmm . . . I do not remember seeing anything about not sharing . . . but I guess I better now. :lol:

Finally got the freida hair root awakenings today! :whee:

I finally got my kit... and there was a yellow sticker on the outside of the box. It says, "Received Without Contents, Received Open".

Okay..I see the link on my Mypoints page now. I don't think we get credit from Bzzagent for completing the frogs that we complete through Mypoints. I think it's seperate? Again, there's a good chance that I'm wrong.

Hmm...well, I was thinking that people on mypoints that are not bzzagents can still contribute to frogpond. That will increase the frogpond traffic. It looks like mypoints and bzzagent are collaborating on their projects? Almost like they are partners now? I don't know. :dontknow:

awww those were the days, lol. I stocked my kitchen pretty well with those rewards, lol. I already have a Kitchenaid mixer... I used points on plenty of other kitchen stuff though. I am still not sure if I miss the old ways or not. I kinda like things feeling more *fair* but... still... it was a huge rush getting in on a reward, lol.

I got the beta thing too, haven't had time to really check it out. I kind of don't get it, after just quickly viewing the site. I also freaked out when I clicked my drop down info, and only saw 1 gold key, as I have 2. I logged out of beta, and went through my normal link and all is well!

The big result is that BzzAgent, who at their inception in 2001, told their agents not to reveal that they have any association with the Boston based marketing firm when talking up new products, now has changed their policy to say that their agents must reveal their identity:
“Be proud to be a BzzAgent. When Bzzing others, you must first let them know that you’re involved with BzzAgent, and that you’ve chosen to volunteer your time to share your opinion. If you like a product or service, it doesn’t matter where you found out about it, so don’t feel as though you need to be anonymous or stealthy. Just be open and honest, clear about your association with us, and let your opinion count.”

In other words, always, always, ALWAYS be transparent.

I have to wonder how this will affect Dave and the BzzAgent model."

The best campaign I ever got was the Harmony One. My DH had tears in his eyes when we got it. It is hands down one of the coolest pieces of technology I've ever seen.

Log out of your account, clear your cache, close the browser, then go back and try again. Often, that will work.

Can you have stuff shipped to you at work? Maybe get a personal PO box at a mail store? They can accept UPS/Fed Ex for you.

Just got Windex AS WELLL!!!!!! Best buzz day in a LONG time! I have SOOOOO wanted this as well, almost bought the window clearner thing this past weekend. I cannot stand the outside of the windows to be dirty. I clean the inside and they STILL look dirty. Then DH tried to spray with a hose and they are STILL spotty. UGH!

To whomever asked, yes, I am in Nature's Source and also got Windex. The Windex is a whole outdoor window cleaning system, not a bottle of cleaner, so it shouldn't make any difference to have both campaigns, like it might for example, if you've got the John Freida, I am doubting you'd get the Aveeno. But you never know.

At the very least make a complaint to the post office that the apartment office is NOT getting packages to you; same way if something comes via UPS. COMPLAIN to the shipping facility if you are missing things you KNOW you should have gotten. They might at least start requiring signatures from someone at the office who accepts the packages and at that point can prove it was left there, thus if you don't get it, they either cough it up or be accused of theft.

Unless something has changed recently, BzzAgent will not ship to PO boxes. My best friend is a BzzAgent in IL & lives in a very small town where almost everyone has a PO box b/c they actually charge you to deliver the mail to your home. Luckily, since it is such a small town, she can put her street address on things & the person who works at the post office knows to put it in her PO box. She had to go into her BzzAgent profile though & change her address from PO box to street address when they sent her an email.

That's why I said a place like Postnet or Mailboxes Etc - I have a box there and the address is 123 Street, Suite 456. No PO Box in the address, so it's not a problem. They will receive anything for me. :rock:

Giant has it in the produce section near the Fruit Naturals. While it's an awesome concept - it kinda sucks....because they put stringy pear peices in it instead of the fruit on teh front.

So far my bzzing has consisted of asking the Target stocker, and the guy at SuperFresh where the heck it's kept... and then asking WHY don't they have it?? Bzzing would be a lot easier for these types of campaigns if they sent a "product locator" with the kit...

They had mistaken a 9 for a 4 and made me 5 years older than I actually am. Easy enough to fix you say...when my birth information was entered into the state computer (who knows when) the error occurred and the infirmary where I was born burnt down many moons ago with ALL of the paper documentation in it! There is NO paper trail! It could be fixed by a parent but I don't have one of those so I have to go around legally 5 years older than I really am. :(

Glad to see some new campaigns but I wish I would have gotten in on them. I would love the Aveeno as I've tried the conditioner and love it. My Mom would have liked the Windex. Here's to hoping there's still a chance!

That's awful! My oldest daughter was born unassisted at home (by accident:nod: ), and getting a birth certificate was hard enough, but then they messed up and instead of her birthday being the 16th, they put down the 6th. No where near as big of a mistake as yours, but it's a bit confusing. I'm going to leave it how it is, because just getting it was such a nightmare I can't deal with it again.

No one lost a key. The Beta, like most, is almost an exact dup of the regular Bzz site with some slight changes. It's not updated to reflect current status at all times. Likely a copy of the database was made a few months ago & they altered it from there to create the "test site" for us to "play in". So it won't show all the new campaigns since then, etc, since it doesn't "sync" with the regular site. It's pretty clearly noted right when you sign in that it is not the regular database and all your current stuff may not show.

AggieMom, this is a great suggestion! I didn't even think about it nor was it suggested to me when I tried to get the issue straightened out. The only problem...I don't know what elementary school I attended (I do know that my high school is gone though). To make a long story short my mother left when I was a baby and my father was a violent alcoholic/drug addict. My mother passed away about 5 years ago without ever answering my letters or accepting my attempts at contact and my father has been lost to the streets for over 19 years. I was raised by too many foster families to count and was on my own at 14.

It's a place to start though and I appreciate it! Thanks! :)

this is what I am thinking with the keys . . . and it is just a theory. We can assume they never hand pick people to get campaigns . . . it is all automated. Well, maybe in that automation, they offer the campaigns to people with keys first . . . however when they do not offer the campaign with a key first, then those people just get skipped over FIRST, and the higher levels/ early invites go out first. THEN after early invite, they go to the other levels, and then finally to anyone who "turned down" the campaign with their key . . . which may mean the same thing as just having a key if the campaign did not have a key offer . . . just a thought. I have been thinking of this WAY too much :lol:

I can think of two benefits for you :

(1) You'll qualify for the "senior" discounts sooner!

(2) People will think you really look young for your age.

I heard somewhere awhile back that women should add years to their real age and not subtract like they usually do. That way, people will think "Wow, she looks great!" instead of "Wow! She sure aged poorly!". :lmao:

I got windex but no Aveeno yet. I have had three in the past two weeks so no complaints. I will say I used my key right after I got it and then got two more right in a row so I wonder if the system is set up to give you more campaigns after using a key rather than hoard them?

I can't disagree that there are a few benefits!

I can think of two benefits for you :

(1) You'll qualify for the "senior" discounts sooner!
(2) People will think you really look young for your age.

I heard somewhere awhile back that women should add years to their real age and not subtract like they usually do. That way, people will think "Wow, she looks great!" instead of "Wow! She sure aged poorly!". :lmao:

That was actually a giveaway from sometime last year. It's not from Bzz. I can't remember where it's from, but if you check the thread What I Got Free in the Mail Today in the Freebies forum someone found it. A lot of people are getting those. I got one Monday.

Read back a few post. 2 of us have reported getting the offer for the Aveeno and using a golden key and getting an error message. I was going to use mine, if that is any help to you. :hug:

this is what I am thinking with the keys . . . and it is just a theory. We can assume they never hand pick people to get campaigns . . . it is all automated. Well, maybe in that automation, they offer the campaigns to people with keys first . . . however when they do not offer the campaign with a key first, then those people just get skipped over FIRST, and the higher levels/ early invites go out first. THEN after early invite, they go to the other levels, and then finally to anyone who "turned down" the campaign with their key . . . which may mean the same thing as just having a key if the campaign did not have a key offer . . . just a thought. I have been thinking of this WAY too much :lol:

I appreciate it, but I'm really really happy with the Head and Shoulders I'm using now. I am alternatively using the Aveeno, and I am a little bit happier with the Head and Shoulders and of course a generous helping of Got2B. :nod:

Well...I pulled the Aveeno trigger! I figured that with my current campaign Bzz Reports, Post-Campaign Polls and Frogponds I'll have another key in July/August so...
