so i noticed the list of currently active users aren't alphabetized anymore making it harder for me to see if certain members are online. what happened?
funny, I noticed that yesterday too. It is annoying.

i guess we just have to get used to it like we got used to it being gorgar's birthday everyday.

With all the new users, the site has been sluggish lately so a few extraneous features were turned off to ease the load. Upgrades will be done soon.

so one night i was bored with all the lounge threads and i had a revelation about why the "currently active users" aren't alphabetized anymore.

i figured out that each time you click on a new page, your username will always be first meaning you are the newest person to be on that page. you will always be first because you will always be the one clicking on a page, any page.

To test it, I went to the forums main page, and saw my name first on the CAU list. This using FF.

Then, immediately I opened the same page in IE, not logged in to SD. My name shows up on the 5th to last line. I don't think it's possible that all the other users on the list passed me up in like 5 seconds. Maybe, but probably not.
