Shoot! I didn't get it. I haven't been offered anythings since the conception kit which I couldn't do since I am already pregnant!!!

Can I ask a general question? Are they diligent about emailing you new product tests? Can I go without loggin in at all?

I've never logged in without an email and have successfully enrolled in 2 PTs in the past month.

I got in for the 1st time. can't wait!

I got the email this morning after joining SheSpeaks months ago! I thought by now I had been dumped from their list - they never sent me anything before.

My first after signing up months ago as well. I was all upset I totally missed out on the Sonicare deal. Oh, well. At least it's something!

There was a sonicare thing through shespeaks? I know about the bzz one (and know I missed out!!!) Did I miss this one too??

Well I e mailed shespeaks requesting to be part or the pt and they said they had to spread out their pt. Ok well they won't let you do but so many pt's in a certain amount of time according to the respoonse they gave me.

I just got into my second test in 2 days...

i just got the opi stick campaign! i am so excited, i have been with this site for some time now and this is my first campaign with them!!
i had pretty much given up hope of ever getting in on something with shespeaks...so for everyone else, there is still hope :)

Wow. I was excited about my $7 nail polish PT until I went and checked out the zoombak site. Now I feel kinda bummed. lol Congrats to whoever gets in on this, looks like it will be a really nice one.

I eamiled them about possibly being in any up coming pts and they said not this time because I took the nail survery (where i got a free lipstick). That's the same type of reply that I got...except they said that it was because of the Car Seat Survey!! So, no new pt's for me because they are sending me a sippy cup from that survey!! Woo-hoo!! :shake:

I did the car seat survey and also was invited to do the nail polish product test.:O So I don't understand their rationale.

i JUST got my opistick invite! the only other PT i got was some dove chocolate. (didnt like it too much!)

but when i logged in... i got offered a zoombak too on my homepage! no email though! and i dont have kids... i have a dog.... i looked it up on amazon... looks like it's for tracking family members, dogs, or car....

i'll put it on my bf if i had one... ha ha ha ha

I just sent them a general email asking why I have been overlooked for the entire time I've been a member, as I am a genuine beauty-aholic, and I honestly do tell everyone I can think of when I like a new product. On top of which, if they don;'t like MY age, my daughter is 17 and tells all HER friends whenever I get some cool new product that she likes. I buy all these things they've been testing...I just don't get why they have never everrr picked me for anything?!

:confused: I really don't know either? but the same thing happened to me. I got two invites as well. The second one came 3 or 4 days after the first (which I filled out day I got). So I went ahead and clicked on the link on the second invite thinking maybe the first didn't go through after all, but when I clicked on the second one it said I had already taken the survey. So I guess they just made a few mistakes and resent?

Me too, lol. Completely forgot about this site until it was mentioned here again. Never heard a thing from them before, and now I have Opi and the vitamins within a week. I am thinking maybe the WOM advertising is really taking off as something companies are more willing to do. It's probably way cheaper than producing and airing commercials on TV even when you consider the amount of product they send out.

got mine yesterday, via usps i think. i actually LOVE the product.. the polish dries really fast and is a tad bit streaky on the first coat, but overall, love it. i got "do you deliver?" a very berry red.

Have anyone not received their zoombak? I cant wait to put the darn thing on my dog. She ran away with TWO strangers today! ack! My dad was cutting the lawn, and everytime a stranger comes walking by, she runs off with them.

I got the "stick with me" color...it's really light, almost a nude color.

I got in on the opi lipstick test too, and weeks went by and I still didn't receive the lipstick so I emailed them and they said they would send another one, two weeks later I got two lipsticks in two separate envelopes. So I would say email them and let them know you haven't received the nic stick.

I've gotten 4 different products from SheSpeaks and I've never had problems with not receiving products...I literally just got my nail polish 2 days ago, so I wouldn't lose hope yet!

Regarding Pinecone, they always ask you if you are willing to test products, even when they don't have products to send out for testing. Standard part of PC surveys.

I got my opi stick today. Love the color. And it works well:)

Has anyone received the Children's Vitamins?

I had gotten one of the original invites for OPI sticks, and just finally got it Monday. Seemed like it took quite some time to get. So maybe the vitamins will also? not sure.

Mine arrived about 10 minutes after I whined about it not being here the other day. I asked for one of the pinks after looking up the color.. a medium range pink, (don't recall the name of it at the moment) but I guess they were out of it and they sent me that *feeling girly* and I really don't like it. There's no *pink* to it at all when you use it... it looks milky white and is really hideous. One the positive side though, I do like how easy it was to use and will probably use a coupon and get one in a different color. Anyone want to trade me this one for something? I only used it on 3 fingernails and that was only one *pump* of it... it sure loads that little brush up!

They told me the very same thing a couple of weeks ago and then by surprise or more like shock, I got an invite last week for the Nic's Stick campaign. I agree with the chipping factor, I was shocked to see half my nails with no polish on them. I had put the nail polish on after dinner and my morning, half of it was gone!

i got the text me color, which looks more lavender to me...it was great going on but it started chipping off after one day! way less durable than most other nail polishes i use...

just a heads up to anyone who got the EmergenC kids vitamins. The product they are sending out to try and not the kids product. It doesn't state on the packaging who they are intended for, but it does seem that these aren't for kids and I'd hate to see anyone make a mistake.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with Emergen-C, Airborne, and other similar products but all state they can be used for children 2 and up. I just checked the labels to compare between Airborne (2 years and up) and the Emergen-C fizzy drink mix and everything in the Emergen-C is either the same strength or a reduced strength. If you'd like I will post the list comparison.

Mine hated it too. I, too, was surprised to see it did NOT say for kids. Even a bottle of kids vitamins I have around for my 4yr old grandson gives kids dose AND "adult" dose. This stuff does not.. if you read the directions, it just says to take TWO to FOUR TIMES A DAY. No freaking way! My kids, ages 15 and 17, thought it was disgusting too. Too tart.
And it's got SUGAR in it which did not make ME happy. 6 grams of carbs in it and it's ALL sugar. They both said they'd rather just take their vitamins and supplements in pill form, ONCE in the morning, and be done with it. My grandson might like it ok and I will see this weekend. This stuff needs work in my humble little opinion.

:iagree: I have a very light pink color Feeling Girly, and major brush marks! I also had trouble seeing how much polish was actually on the brush. I did two coats, and that did not correct the streaking. It's pretty, and applies easily, but my cuticles would be a mess to look at if this was a dark color!

I have the same opinion about the nail polish. That brush is much stiffer than regular bottles, and hard to control. And if you don't have enough polish on the brush to do a clean sweep, and then go over it again, you get uneven coverage. I'm glad I got the Feeling Girly color. Though streaked, my nails still look very clean and nice. It would be removed by now if I had a dark color, I know my cuticles would look like a 2nd grader did my manicure!

i think who they choose for product tests are completely random. Some may get one PT and others may get a lot. so i don't know

I only have had 4 since joining...I forget how long ago. Whenever it was 1st posted on SD. I wrote and asked the same question you have. SS wrote back and said it's nothing personal, just whether I fit the demographics. According to them, being more active on their site wouldn't help--just doing the post-survey is all that's needed. Also they don't care if you answer positively or negatively: I gave the exploding lip gloss/teeth whitener a bad review and they said that wouldn't keep me from being considered for other campaigns.

I like it too. Mine is just now chipping at the ends, and it's been on a week. That's pretty good coverage. I had to laugh, I just read an article in today's paper that says chipped nail polish is the "in" look! I never noticed, but apparently it's more acceptable now than ever. I'm gonna redo mine in a few days though, and will try for a neater application.

I wish I would get the sonicare invite, and I wish my nail polish would come in the mail.

All I got were those dumb magazines and an invite for the conception kit which is of no use to me. I can't even get the darn thing off my page.

LOL blue sucks but the really pale pink was even worse. I asked for a darker pink and got the pale one as well. It looked like I painted milk on my fingernails.. it was awful. But I did like how well it worked though.

I don't think anyone got it yet.... people who "got it" are referring to an email inviting them to the PT. If you read my post above it would take "20-25 business days" to actually receive the item.

Your best bet would be to log into your account every so often to see if you are invited to any product tests.

Well, I did get it. I remember signing up for it but I couldn't remember how long ago it was.. it felt like forever ago actually. Guess I'll just wait and see if it comes to my new address or not.

Got the EOS today, I opted for the pomegranate raspberry instead of the ocean blue because I was afraid that ocean blue would smell like coconut. Did anyone choose the ocean blue? I would love to know how it smells. BTW I really like the pomraspberry, too bad I shaved on friday, so I won't be able to try it right away.

Okay so I got my container of EOS shaving cream kit from She Speaks. The whole package was neat but I was completely shocked to see that there are only like seven or eight places to buy the product again in California! None of which were nearby and maybe three in Southern California! I tried it this morning, and it really does rock. I'd buy it again if the doggone pump worked! I must have fiddled with it for ten minutes before giving up and scooping it out of the bottle with the pump tube. I do have to say though that I did get a smoother shave, it smelled great and the plastic bottle is a big perk. Nothing worse than a rusty ring in the shower.
