My first invite from SheSpeaks! :woot: I just got an invite for the Food Network Preview. I watched the video for Cooking for Real and really enjoyed it. I ended up choosing the recipe binder as a prize. Now that SheSpeaks remembers I'm alive, maybe I'll get more campaigns from them. :lol:

They are around 20 minutes each but you only have to watch one of them. I would go with the second one if you are only going to watch one. It was much better than the "aida" preview in my opinion.

You don't even have to watch it -- click play, come back 20 minutes later, take the quiz. I let mine run while I went downstairs to the cafeteria and got lunch :lol:. I've seen one of Sunny's shows before, so I knew the pace/tone/content, so I based my answers on that. I've watched 5 minutes of Aida, I wouldn't recommend it. It's annoying.

Funny thing is, the previews I watched last week, were the episodes they showed yesterday.

If you logon to the site and click on the "take survey", it will probably tell you that you have already completed it. Give it a try.

I'm signed up for the Ore Ida one...still waiting on that...but I bought and tried them the other day...they're decent...I added some extra seasoning and a little milk and butter...but I disagree with something on their packaging...Says that the bag serves 7. There's absolutely no way! There was nothing left after me, my DH and my 2 yr old son have 1 spoonful each. :-/ But they were good...don't think I'd really pay almost $4 a bag for them, but with a good coupon I'd buy them again.

Great! I seen the commercial on tv and was a little worried when I seen you have to mash them since I have no kitchen gadgets, well maybe a fork and spoon,lol not much into cooking but I love mashed potatoes.

This sucks!! There were no sweet potato ones at my store, they even had coupons of it outside the freezer door, with a picture of all of them but the sweet potatoes. so I went for the garlic. I hope that is good. I am thinking of making mashed potatoes, baked salmon, some salad and a chocolate dessert.

I went to safeway and they have them for 2/$8 and if you buy five you get $5 off so.... if you buy five and use the free coupon and four of the dollar off coupons plus your doubler (if you got one this week, ours did not) you could get five for $5.00

-4 4 $1 dollar off cooupons
-2 4 $.50 off doublers

I got all of it. I agree with Zany, I'd let them know.

I think back somewhere in the thread someone mentioned never getting their NikSticks, and I am pretty sure the person said shespeaks either sent or is sending a replacement. It sure can't hurt to ask.

So, I FINALLY got my package with potato masher & coupons......and my cute little 'ol puppy used the potato masher for a chew toy before I even got a chance to use it :( :(

We had them with steak too :) You can get a 10 lb bag of potatoes around here for less than $3...that's a lot of mashed taters! I now have a masher, so no excuse!

I got mine but I haven't gone to the store yet to buy them. I'm considering going to vons (safeway) and getting 5 of them. They are on sale for $4 and $5 off wyb 5. It will be $7 after coupons for 5 bags but I usually make my mashed potatos so even at that price I'm not sure it will be worth it.

I went to Meijer here yesterday and found that they had the potatoes 2/$6.00 and then an additonal special if you bought 2, you got 1 free. So, it ended up being 3/$6.00 - $1.00 coupon on each. I ended up with 13 bags for $11.99.

More expensive than bags of potatoes BUT, price is about the same for a "side dish, convenience food".

Haven't tried them yet. Dying to... but I can't eat for a test at the doc tomorrow. Ugh!

First of all, I love to try free food. The mashed potatoes trial was gross. I was so excited because Trader Joe's is to far for me to drive these days. They had some frozen mashed potatoes that were beyond yummy. I was hoping these would be at least a pale comparison. Not even close. :eek: Four people in this house give it a thumbs way down. We tried the plain russet mashed potatoes so maybe the flavored would be a little better. I tried adding several things like more milk, more butter, a little more seasoning but nothing helped. So bad I threw the potatoes out as well as all the coupons. These need to go back to the testing kitchen.

My tators came thru USPS ...I don't know if they have sent them any other way ...but do you do the clorox Advisery ( Clorox AnyWhere Spray )? No, didn't get Clorox. I got the EOS Shave cream, the Food Network, and the taters. Been waiting on the taters and so far no go.

I got the clorox from the clorox advisory.

They sent me a letter apoligizing that they had too many people respond for the test product and I wasn't chosen after all. But they still sent me a huge concentrated bottle of it. So go figure I still made out.

Yeah for me the mash potatoes kit came via USPS.
