View Full Version : Surveyhead is a Scam Website

Just got an email invitation for a $2.00 survey with Surveyhead. It took 20 minutes to do the survey and I answered all the questions. Then it said there were just a few more questions for statistical purposes so I answered all those too.

When I clicked on the last "submit" button it went back to the Surveyhead website and it said -

" We’re Sorry.
Unfortunately you didn’t qualify for that survey. "

So the survey company got all my answers and I got nothing. Stay away from this scam website.

I know that happens sometimes. Ok, well, more times than I'd like, but usually they do credit you. I hate how sleazy survey companies can be...

Not survey head, they never do  . That's why I dropped them.

I was doing a survey they said would pay $5 earlier and I got midway through and they said they were asking some question to see if I was paying attention. It said something like 4 dogs jumped over the fence and then asked how many used the door. There was no actual correct answer so it was a blatant way to disqualify whoever took that survey.

Really funny, They accept only qualified person to take surveys.

Sorry you had trouble, we all do. Just because something did not go right does not mean that it is a scam. People seem to use this word so freely these days and it seems to have lost it's true meaning. SH is not a scam at all. Yes it is frustrating to have trouble with a survey. A survey can close right in the middle of your participation when filled up. That has happened a few times to me.
Also, I have had two surveys lately, (not SH) where I was nearing the end, but there was not a button to click to continue. I had to close out and just forget it. Very frustrating! So far, I have cashed out twice myself at Survey head. I will keep on using it. I check SH once a day for new surveys.

Yeah that happens sometimes and it makes me really mad too. Mostly the OTX surveys do that on Surveyhead. I have been paid but it usually takes forever. I don't bother with surveys that pay less than $3-4, especially if it links to OTX.

The same happens to me with focus forward group surveys.

I agree. I found them to be reliable and cashed out and was paid twice too in the last couple of months.

I have cashed out over $75 with them--just got $17.00 for a two-part survey, within days of completing it, too. No waiting to get it sent to PayPal, either. I won't do a 25 minute survey for a dollar, though--I stick with the ones that are shorter or pay better.

Well I have had to contact Survey Police on them twice, and after I did that I got paid fast, I had to wait 2 months for them the first time I cashed out, wasn't to happy about that, since then I don't mess with them, instead I deal with Focusline, they pay much faster with better surveys and not a lot of them are OTX surveys either.

yep i flushed them out after the 3rd time they made me do like 15 - 20 minutes of a survey and answering at the end the same stupid profile questions than in the beginning and what seem to qualify me in the beginning got me kicked off at the end..ridiculous!

I have to agree- I have had frustrations with all the survey companies I belong to, but isn't that part of it? No one can qualify for EVERY survey they fill out- so I think it is unfair to label a survey site a scam just because you didn't get $2 for your time. That is the chance you take when you do surveys. It took me a while but I just received $25 in my paypal account from SH. They may be harder than most to qualify for and to earn big bucks, but I hardly think that makes them a "scam."

I've never had a problem with them. Always send me surveys, pay quickly when I cash out, and always get prompt replies when I email them. I've had a problem a few times like the OP mentioned and I've emailed them, explained it all to them - and after they looked into it they seen the amount of time and effort I spent and always have emailed me back to inform me that they've credited my account. When I check, sure enough - its there.

If I remember correctly in the past I think you were the one that was also convinced that Global Test Market was a scam. I have the following advice to offer in a friendly and respectful manner: If you are convinced these survey sites are scams and you are so unhappy, I would stay far away from all of them. Do something that you enjoy instead. :)

My post was not meant to unhelpful. I just took it a step further than your suggestion. Saying something is a scam is a strong accusation. I just got the feeling that the OP distrusted and was unhappy with survey sites in general as this has happened before. It was explained before by many others that these companies are not scams when something goes wrong or you receive poor service. Sometimes you have to take a step back and say is it worth me being suspicious with these companies and unhappy with this pastime? There are very few (if any) survey sites where you will not find these sort of problems or others from time to time. Of course OP, if there are any survey sites that you trust/enjoy by all means continue with them and enjoy them.

I've had great success with themsure you won't qualify for al the surveys and some will be longer tha 10 15 min,but 've gotten paid out twice by them,by the way a lot of companies OTX and the other survey companies, when you click the headline it usually leads into another company.

i hav sumthin 2 say about this one too. i have been paid with no problems. this is wat has happened to you. if u r in the middle of a survey, they only need so many people for each survey, and the last person needed completed the survey while u were still doing it. it cuts u off cuz they now hav all responses they are allowed to accept. i called a diff company the other day for that and they explained it 2 me. hope this helps. i hav never had any probs with surveyhead.

That sucks! I wonder why they would reject that since they have to approve every survey reward before you can even get it. No reason to reject if they were all already approved. I would be PO'd

After I reported them to Survey Police over a month ago disputing a couple of surveys they quit sending me surveys. Matter of fact, I don't have any on my dashboard and haven't for quite some time. I would assume SP is getting tired of tracking them down as well.

THE MONEY WAS $25.00 THAT THEY DID NOT WANT N2 PAY ME FOR 2 MONTHS.

I just had the same thing happen to me. I FINALLY had the 25.00 in funds, and tried to claim it, and they sent me an email stating there were "irregularities" in my account and that they can't approve of the request. I will definatley NOT do any more of their surveys. Go to surveypolice.com and file a complaint against them. The mo:shake: re recorded cases, the more people will start wondering what the hell is going on here.

No Surveyhead is NOT a "scam" ! Good grief.!
I have been with them for over a year and do qualify for the same percentage of surveys I do on other sites. I have cashed out on at least 5 occasions, the last being a week ago for $25.00, Think before you speak! It is not at all unusual to be DQ for several before you hit paydirt. The Answer is PATIENCE and diligence.:groupwav:

Don't do Surveyhead anymore. It took me almost a year to reach the cash out amount and ONLY AFTER I tried to redeem my 25 dollars they told me my request was rejected due to irregularities.

It's funny how they had never found any irregularities when I was actually taking those 10+ surveys. They always find there is something wrong AFTER you request your payment.

I've been paid, in a reasonable amount of time, every time I've requested payment.

I've been paid 7 times for $25+ payments in the past year and am almost ready to cash out again. All payments come within a reasonable amount of time (took much longer when they first started up). Have gotten some nice $4 for 10 min. surveys plus the usual other ones.

They are definitely NOT a scam and I wish the header and thumbs down could be changed in the OP. I do know that not everyone has the same success for every survey site - good ones for others are not good for me, and ones I have good success with might not work for someone else - but not a scam for Surveyhead..

To me this site being a scam is debatable, it's really fishy though that they give so many people the same excuse for not paying them. It's also fishy that they don't tell people they can't pay them until they've decided to cash out, they should find a way to refuse payment due to whatever "irregularity" before they award your account whatever amount the survey you took pays.

Maybe they do decide to pay some members so there will be people out there who will honestly be able to say they've been paid, then they save the rest of the money for themselves by not paying everyone else.

I totally agree with you. Plus their surveys suck. It took me a year to make 25 dollars and consider that one survey I took was for 10$. With Surveyspot I made 100 bucks in five months!

I am not saying they are a scam but in my opinion they are very dishonest and I would not reccomend it to anyone.

That has happened to me several times but I am still confident that SurveyHead is NOT a scam because I have been paid many times by them. There's a chance you went through the survey too fast or they were over quota. It just sucks that they allow you to complete the survey and then screw you over. Just keep this in mind: Every survey you take is a risk because you may or may not get in or get credited.

They are listed as #5 as far as the best ranked survey companies according to survey police. A company that is a scam would not have a high ranking such as this. A scam is not something that you have trouble with or do not like. I think that people are forgetting or mixing up what the word scam really means. I have cashed out numerous times myself.

Surveyhead has just marked a $3 survey that I spent half an hour on in good faith last month "Invalid." I don't know what, if anything, their member support will have to say on this issue, but if they don't make good I'm done with them; I don't do surveys for companies that don't pay up.

Keep an eye on your account; I'm sure I'm not the only one they did this to.

I have gotten that several times in the past few months. It was on my page constantly for awhile, as if I never took the survey before, then disappeared for a few months finally and then 2 nights ago I got it again. It is just selling an infomercial product and I don't think that should be on a survey site at all. They are trying to act like it is a product test, but it is just outright selling the product and if you read the last page, it is a subscription product..like Proactiv. Also, the product this most recent time is a different product than a few months ago, but both were whitening products and both had the same exact "survey" attached. I think this practice is shady.

I have $99.20 in my acct right now and was waiting to hit an even $100 to cash out. I am almost scared to cash out this time with all the problems everyone is having lately. They have always paid me in the past, but it has been awhile since my last cashout.
