Researchers are recruiting adults age 30 and over to participate in a study about how people use their life stories.

In the study, you will fill out surveys assessing personality, and you will complete written narratives about different parts of your life.

Participants will be compensated with up to $40.

The entire study takes less than 3 hours to complete.

You should also know that one of the participants has copied and posted the invitation to participate in a different slickdeals thread. If you access the study through that thread and have not been contacted by me directly, you will not receive compensation.

hubby recieved the actual study,it is 3 parts and is very lenghty.Total compenation for completing all the 3 parts is $40

got mine and just finished it. Didnt take me 3 hours, it took me about 2 hours, i guess it depends on your response and the details you provide....very interesting!

yup considering the JOSH dude from the survey came on here and SAID if you DID NOT GET THE EMAIL yourself, you would not be compensated...

that dude needs to read the thread first...no need to blame the OP or anyone else cause he can not read!

I personally read that after I finished all 3 parts and tried to post a comment from the OP, but didn't see it pop up anymore except for this thread that was dated a while back and seeing Josh's response, which by then, was too late.

I understand your frustration, being new, you will slowly understand that these things do happen here and there, and you just have to learn to eat your emotions..i strongly recomment oreos cookies..might not take your frustrations away but man oh man they sure are good!:D

I'm not frustrated, I just know what I read and don't like comments from people making it seem like I was an idiot or something.

Oreo's does sound nice...but not for breakfast, that's going to ruin the appetite for meals..the rest of the day.:yummy:

I received the email. There is no place to enter an address for payment. What next?

he said after the fact when it was done he would contact you for mailing address, etc. just waiting for the info back good luck.

when I contacted him a few days ago, also noticed about the no address part, so I emailed him after the study with my address and he said payments will be sent out tomorrow or "early next week"....so those who did email him prior to today with our addy should get the check sometime later next week or the following week

Heads up - I got an email from the guy today and he was going to the bank to get chqs ready to mail - I am from Canada and he already sent me paypal deposit (pending) because he said the bank would not send a chq to Canada - just so you know your cheques were probably mailed today!!
