I didn't know where to post this. I figured this might be the right place. What do the envelopes on the left side of a forum mean. Also, what does "sticky" mean with the check mark next to it?

Sticky means the thread stays at the top of the list. A moderator can designate a thread to be sticky when he deems it important and one that should be read by all posters using that section of the forum.

Oh okay, thanks. Is there a difference b/w a sticky thread and a checkmarked sticky thread?

To see the significance of the envelope icons on the left side, right click on the envelope and read the image name in the properties. That tells you the meaning of the envelope.

If you pause the cursor over an envelope, a message will display how many posts you have in that thread. Notice that there is a crooked arrow on the envelopes for the threads in which you have posted.

The checkmark next to the thread goes away when you open the thread after a new post has been made...
