I need this so band I have gerbils running my computer.......and only 4 keys work on the keyboard. I don't know how I am writing this with my broken keyboard. I just am. My screen only displays 3 colors, which is cool, but hurts my gaming sometimes. I have a 100 mb hard drive and my mouse doesn't have the ball inside anymore. I just use my finger to move the little plastic things to make the cursor go. If i run out of gerbil food, my pc will power down forever! I wish I won a computer on a deal messageboard. That would help me afford more gerbil food, college loans for my 12 adopted children, a new home, a new car, a vacation, a new tv, surgery for my neighbor, 129 weeks worth of food for my local soup kitchen, new shingles for the neighborhood, new textbooks for the rundown elementary school and perhaps even new blacktop for my driveway. Maybe even if I win I could afford little Joseph the leg and mouth braces he keeps asking for, maybe he'd be able to walk and chew right. Oh man.

I tried to get my hubby to let me get the HP laptop being sold by Best Buy today. The one for $399 but that was a no-go. He wouldn't budge. I reminded him how all I got for Christmas from him was some measuring cups. Long story but he had wrapped a few boxes for me and put them under the Christmas tree making me think I had gotten some nice gifts. One was measuring cups because he knows I like to cook. The others had money in them. It all added up to $250. He told me it was money to put away for a laptop for me because he knows I need one to take with me when I go back to take my psychology classes and other courses. I'm doing some via online and the computer we have at home is used by everyone and it bogs down all the time. It's also always occupied by someone so trying to study on it is nearly impossible.

Well, the money that I was supposed to use for a laptop got put in the bank to pay bills. We were really strapped for cash so my Christmas "gift" went to our bill collectors. Ultimately all I got for Christmas was measuring cups. NO JOKE! We still don't have the cash for me to use toward a laptop. I've been bummed all day. Kind of pouting since I really wanted that HP laptop from Best Buy. Guess I'm back to waiting. I really don't want to have to do my schooling from the library.

Here's hoping that the SD gods are looking down on me tomorrow and I get that email.:pray:

Yea but just measuring cups? They are plastic and the measurements have worn off. They probably cost him all of $3. I feel really worthless if this is all I am worth to him. One year for my birthday I got an umbrella and a cheap electric razor that didn't even work. It ran but didn't shave anything. Waste of money. He does not know how to shop. I really feel like he doesn't put any effort into shopping for me at all. After 18 years you'd think he would know me by now and know what to buy.:weeping:
