I went and picked this up today. The smooth infusion sample pack is only 10ml each, pretty small, maybe only enough to use the shampoo and condition once if you have big hair like me. :) but the cream you can probably use a couple times. I didn't get the hand cream, thought that 2 freebies were enough for one day.

I also got my birthday gift from the postcard I got from them a couple months ago. It is a full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, massage oil, or body lotion blended with the fragrance of your choice (there were about ~20 to pick from, and most of them were putrid earth scents, but I found a minty one that was nice). All in all, pretty good freebies! I will definitely keep going to pick them up as I get them. :) I'm hoping for some skincare ones next!

I had my hair cut and styled today at an Aveda Salon and it was the best salon experience I've ever had!!! :groupwav: The ladies were nice, professional and knowlegable! I gave them the stimulus package q, the q for a free 3 hair care infusion sample set, and a q for a free hand cream sample. I was given a sample of hot tea, had my scalp and neck massaged with an organic serum, had my hair washed until it smelled pretty and soft, the stylist even went and tried massaing my hands and forearms with another lotion (I was pretty relaxed by then so I told her she didn't have to do this). My stylist was funny and friendly, it seemed like I was speaking to an old friend that I haven't spoken to in forever, anyhow, she was fast with the styling and gave me the results I was looking for! :heart:

At checkout, another lady introduced herself to me, gave me the free samples, and a complimentary card which takes $10 off each service that I come back to have!!! :woot: I was impressed and will definately go back! Best experience ever! Just don't ever go to the aveda beauty school. I went a couple of years ago for hair coloring and my hair still is dry from the experience, they took 4.5 hours to color my hair. Never again.

My store at the mall had them on Saturday. It's a cute little set, but only barely enough for one use if you have long hair. I do, however, think I liked the conditioner enough to treat myself and buy it! I think that's what they hope for...tryers who become buyers...

I LOVE my Aveda salon. After going there I will never go to a different salon. With the Scalp massage and hand massage and tea and THEN shampoo, cut - and my stylist will blow out my super curly hair to perfectly straight & not charge extra even though it takes an extra 30+ minutes... and it's usually $60 with tip. ($50 plus $10 tip) - I think everyone should go to an Aveda salon!!!

This seems to be valid primarily at Pure Privilege locations/Aveda stores.
I've tried individual salons claiming to be PP locations only to be told they
don't have the sample. Thankfully I live by 3 store locations.

Hand lotion offer is good through September and the serum sample is good
through December. Seems like to get both an Aveda store is the best bet. :)

The card came in the mail and they take it with no argument. In fact they had a stack of them that people had redeemed when I went in on Saturday. :D I'd be very surprised if they hassled anyone.

I went in september to check if I was subbed.. and yep, no card when my birthday rolled around. *sigh

same here. i was treated really wonderfully when i brought mine in. great experience. whereas at like, sephora, they almost rolled their eyes when i redeemed my bday gift (even while making a $30+ purchase!!)

I've been getting a bday card for free product for 3-4 yrs now with no problem. I kind of sad now though because I am moving back south so next year I mignt not be able to redeem because there may not be a store to redeem it at
