Rabid has a question regarding Mod Alert, just out of curiousity.

On average, how many mod alerts do the mods have to process per day?

And, how is it organized? Do all the Mods get a shared inbox of Mod Alerts to see? Who gets assigned what? (Rabid guesses that it is based on the forum where the moderator is moderating that determines who gets what.)

depends on how many mods are on (quicker to respond, less multiple mod alerts).

we have a mod control panel where all the mod alerts go, and we can close the mod alerts after we respond to them.

on weekdays, there's probalby 30-50 or so. not sure, because when you aren't here you can't see closed alerts.

Dear Arj,

are mods paid by the hour, or by the action? And are they paid in freebies or rebate checks?

Signed, an inquiring mind

Personally, I like the bonus program for warning points we hand out. The more waring points issued, the more money earned.

Raddish have I told you lately what a wonderful moderator you are? That goes for the rest of you mods too. Great job! You are all amazing people... I wish I could have half as cool as you all are.

I know SOMEONE who's not getting any warning points... :P

el-cheapo wonders why people refer to themselves in the third person. He's just wondering.
He's scratching himself now....

stimpy doesn't believe Raddish. stimpy thinks Raddish is just making a little joke. One time Raddish could have given stimpy warning points but raddish chose not to. stimpy likes Raddish. Raddish good.

Mmm. That must have simply been an oversight on my part. Provide me a link, and I'd be happy to rectify the situation.
