I received this email from Secret ShopperR, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about them. Something seems fishy?! TIA

"We have a mystery shopping assignment in your area and we would like you to participate"
Secret ShopperR is accepting applications for qualified individuals to become mystery shoppers. It's fun and rewarding, and you choose when and where you want to shop. You are never obligated to accept an assignment. There is no charge to become a shopper and you do not need previous experience. After you sign up, you will have access to training materials via e-mail, fax or postal mail.

I got the same email yesterday but I deleted it because I also thought it seemed phishy.

These types of offers tend to be scams more often than not.

I'd avoid it if I were you.:D

typical scam covered by the news media, they send you more than the amount and ask you to wire the extra over to them, until you find out their original check was bogus and you are on the hook for the bill

its also in poor taste posting competing websites and

I've never done the mystery shopping thing but jobslinger.com looks legit and I thank audierules for posting the above. :hug: IMO this was not the intention of posting a competing website, but more of posting a LEGIT site. Or am I reading this all wrong? :rolleyes:

I have seen to many people taken to the cleaners by these scam artists and it's a shame that there are so many people sucked into them. Do your homework first before getting involved with any Mystery Shopping work.

Jobslinger isn't a competitive site of Slickdeals? They have a compliation of LEGIT mystery shopping jobs.I've been mystery shopping for 8 years now and there's no way Jobslinger is in competition with Slickdeals. Slickdeals is different.
