My mom did this with my dad over a month ago and still have not been paid- just a heads up. This same exact study was posted on craigs list about 2 months ago.

DESCRIPTION:
When people learn of their own or a spouse's/partner's diagnosis of serious illness, they often experience a wide range of emotions. Some people experience distressing feelings for a short time while others experience negative emotions for a longer period. The purpose of this study is to examine communication that occurs at receipt of such a diagnosis (your own or your partner's) and the emotional response to this event. This study may help to identify factors that can help benefit those facing such an illness.

Participation in this study is expected to last no more than 20 minutes. On average, participants take 10-15 minutes to complete. You will be asked to complete surveys about communication with your spouse/partner and about your emotional response to your own or their diagnosis of serious illness.

You are asked to refer your spouse or partner to complete this study. $25 compensation is available if both you and your partner complete the study.
