I decided to go through and catalog all the problems thet the OP's changed to Solved or Fixed. This way we can see what the problem was and what solution worked to fix the problem!

For all new problems, it would be really nice if the OP would come back to the thread once the problem is fixed and state what solution they used. We could then get a better understanding of what happened and learn from it.

This list goes back as far as I can go in the threads and does not inculde threads that the OP did not change the title to fixed, resolved, etc...

I realize that, but when a poster takes the time to chaneg their title to solved, they usually post what solution worked for them. Other threads that do not say solved usually do not have the solution posted.

It might be easier to read though if you took out all the ***Solved***, *fixed*, etc (they are solved, otherwise they wouldn't be listed :))...or at least put them in the same place in each link (like at the beginning of the title, or at the end)

HJSplit (www.freebyte.com/hjsplit) also uses the same .001, .002 .. extensions and I have successfully used it to combine/merge file parts into one big file. (eg: incomplete downloads in Overnet)
