I received my day two (Saturday) at 2:15am then again at 10:25am. Fortunately I already did my shopping and got my chocolate fix :drool: by the time I took it this morning. But why send these so early? Heck, some people don't start the day till afternoon. :rolleyes:

I got my day four today. I wish the Chocolate Corner study paid more along these lines. I have been taking their multiple surveys and essay-style questions every week for about 2 months, and I have gotten exactly 2 $5 Amazon codes from them. It's really not worth it.

I signed up for datatelligence yesterday and actually got into this study today. The email said the study was closing soon.

Yeah, likely that we are being way underpaid for our time and efforts. I have done plenty of local pt's with 1/5th the work and been paid nearly twice as much. If something went on for close to a year, we'd typically be paid much more- nm all the problems we have incurred! I signed on because I enjoyed working with DT, and even though the compensation was nominal I was willing to do the PT because it was run by DT and it had always been such a pleasure working with them. But the stalling, dragging, going back on their word, threats, looking for excuses not to pay, I mean, what happened to this company the last few months? It's really sad and I hope just a bump in the road for them because I am holding out hope that they will stabilize and go back to the great company I once thought they were.

Ya know, foums aren't for just complaining. Sure we do that, especially when we can't get a response from the marketing company *cough, cough*. But when you see a lot of activity on a thread, you know there's a lot of interest in that company. You quickly get to know that many of us have been pt'ing and doing market studies for years and if we stand by the company and are active on their threads, it's great PR for them.

If the company doesn't pay us testers regardless. It's an investment that they lose in the long run. Because I for one am struggling now that we are in a recession. so if the company doesn't keep up with their end, then I know for sure I won't be purchasing their product now or when the economy gets better. I value companies that value me as a customer. and when you make the customer happy in return not only do they spread the word about your product sometimes they become loyal to the companies product. so I guess they will lose in the end.

Thank you. I was told by dataelligence (today) that the "gift cards" were being mailed. But the woman would not specify what the gift cards were or for what vendor. I told her that I was offered money, she asked if the invite stated "cash." I replied that a dollar sign followed with numbers is universal for US dollars. I doubt I made any headway.

Bottom line, we were ripped off and will most likely receive some generic gift code for some POS reward site offering junk that we have no use for.

If they intend to pay by "bonus" dollars, they should specify that from the onset. This has all been highly unprofessional.

Yes! There was something wrong with that page cuz when I put in the correct address and clicked submit, it did NOT advance to another page. BUT there was a message either on the top of bottom of the page saying that the address was successfully submitted. So, I figure I got a 50/50 shot at the correct address being on file.

WTF - wonder how much time I have burnt up of my life with this chocolate study only to possibly receive some mystery GC in the mail. This was certainly not well orchestrated from the get go. :shake: BIG disappointment!

Well - I called back and was told we would receive the replacement check within 7-10 days after they receive the gift card back. I'm going to mail it with return reciept and after the 10 days I will start calling every day until i receive my check.

This has all the makings of a potential class action suit.

2. They are located in Florida. If everyone who's been stiffed files a complaint with the BBB in Florida regarding this bait-and-switch, the authorities will take notice (not to mention Datatelligence's clients...and trust me, no companies would want to do business with a survey company that has a bunch of complaints with the BBB).

3. (This is a good one). I found a listing of CRG's corporate execs online (the parent company of Datatelligence.) Should be pretty recent. Posting the link below.
